I liked that it was fairly clean and quiet from the street.
It was a very small room, nothing special or updated. It felt very old and tired. Breakfast was just ok.
The breakfast was horrid. Coffee maker was "broken" and whatever they had in thermos was Luke warm. The desk clerk in morning was too busy texting to pay attention to complaints from guests and just looked up in annoyance when they all complained about the coffee and just said "the coffee maker is broken" no apology or further option. Big party downstairs from us all night with drunks making loud noises. The only saving grace was when they all left the motel at 5 a.m. With their loud trucks, doors banging, etc. we would never book here again.
Friendly and helpful staff.
I have admired this motel when I lived in Baker City in the past and was not disappointed. Also, the staff was very friendly. Large shower and rooms plus very quiet. I would definately return and recommend it to anyone.
Clean quiet good value
Simply nice management people
Loved the look of the place. Gardens were beautiful.
To much room spray, it took us over 4 hours to air the room, using the window, propping the door open & running the exhaust fan. Staff needs to remember a little spray goes a long way.
Location to freeway is good
Room deodorizer too strong
Location, ease of access to I84
Could not understand the front desk clerk, accent. Not much of a choice for breakfast.
big room, comfortable, air conditioning worked well.
room was out dated, old looking
Even thought this is an older motel, the rooms were very large, clean and very comfortable. it was also very quiet at night. we would come back.
The lighting was a bit dim. The room was on the dark side and needed bigger wattage in the light bulbs.
Friendly staff, comfortable room and easy access on and off the freeway. Excellent selections for the continental breakfast!
Old West charm and the staff. Quiet and comfortable.
Management is poor. Only one person on duty in the morning for checkout, phone and keeping the breakfast going. Too bad the last impression of the place is a negative one. So pay your bill the night before and go eat breakfast somewhere else, then the place is great.
hard bed no hot tub
The staff was very helpfull. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Will plan on staying here again next time we come to Baker City.
Clean and spacious rooms. Also included continental breakfast.
Easy access Friendly front desk check-in Free breakfast opening before 6 AM Good value
nice room, good breakfast if you get there early enough, friendly staff
internet comes and goes. it needs to be consistent.
Cute Spanish décor of outside. Large rooms
Dirty premises. Breakfast room was not ready and things were not heated up. No hot water available at first. Refrigerator did not have a way to control temperature. Old fixtures in bathroom. $15 for pet fee seems steep.
Breakfast was excellent
Was a comfortable stay. Had every-thing that a crusty old gold miner needed after a long week of panning and sluicing for gold. Staff was very personable and helpful.
Did not have a stall for my mule Jubilee! Just kidd'n! ;-)
The coffee pot did not work and when I informed the staff, they did not seem to care. There was also a suitcase left in the parking lot by a guest and when I informed the staff they did nothing about it, did not retrieve it, and did not look to see who may have checked out to try to call them. Rather, they just said "I hope they are not going a long way and then realize they left it".
Convenience for traveling and in town location. We would stay there again
Very pleasant staff. Relaxing, can't hear neighbors quiet comfortable
I liked that the rooms were a nice size and clean and a good value for the price.
The first impression of the outside of the place was poor. Needs some cleaning and updated. Outside lanterns were hanging crooked and some not working. There was a broken bottle of pickles, an empty drink bottle and just garbage laying in the flower beds and laid there all the time we were at the hotel. The flower beds needed some TLC also, but could be a very cute decor, sort of Hacienda style, with a little sprucing up. The breakfast was okay, but the host who was East Indian, had the TV on to a channel that was giving info on some unrest in his country, so he was a little distracted by that.
