The front desk clerk at check-out was pleasant and knowledgeable. She also was apologetic and understanding upon explaining the details of my, and my group's experience.
The pictures were deceptive, and did not represent the poor conditions of not only the room, but of the building. I made the accomodation arrangements for my group and was extremely embarrassed. There were shavings in the bath tub and on the shower walls, the floor had particles and dirt appearing not to have been cleaned. The toilet paper was out and there were no additional rolls. The paint was peeling and actually falling off the walls. Also, There were piles of paint flakes on the floor next to bare spots on the wall. My guests felt more comfortable sleeping in their clothes. Unfortunately, we had arrived at midnight and were too travel weary to seek alternative accomodations. Booking.com customer service was great on the phone trying to assist however there was no other availability at a nearby hotel at that time. We did however secure alternative accomodations the next day through Booking.com customer service. Booking.com was helpful and in one phone call, alternative accomodation plans were finalized.
The woman working the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
New decor, convenient location.
Nobody at the front desk at check in had to wait 20 min for someone to show up.
The area is great for visiting friends and family at cedar point!
Close enough to attractions. price point good compared to other hotels in the area.
Needs to be : remodeled cleaned thoroughly
Loved that it was so close to the park, and we enjoyed the hot breakfast in the morning.
The staff was very friendly and the location was very close to Cedar Point.
The room was dirty and the bathroom smelled of urine.
Run down facility in bad neighborhood. Not what a Baymont in should look like!
We were in the area for a triathlon for my daughter. We had to be up at 5:30 am. Your breakfast is served at 6:30 am. Your Staff (Jen) went above and beyond by having breakfast ready for us at 5:45 so we could be at our event by 6:30. She was genuinely happy to do it .
Location was right around the corner from Cedar Point. The breakfast bar was clean and had many choices to choose from.
The whole point I choose this hotel was because of the pool. However, upon arrival was told the pool was closed and it was just seasonal. Very disappointed. The air conditioner in our room smelled like cat urine.
It was dirty, trash was not pick up between stays. Had spiders in bathroom. Had unknown substance on walls in bathroom.
The bed was very comfortable.
Breakfast could use some improvement. Orange juice tasted watered down and no fresh fruit offered.
The decor was beautiful.
The phone did not work. The toilet would not flush unless you stood there and held down the handle. The "computer" chair was broken. The wi-fi was incredibly SLOW!!! The cleaning staff guy was wearing a "wife beater" shirt. The door wouldn't shut unless you physically had to slam it so all we heard all day & night was slamming doors. The front desk staff had a shirt on that was showing her bra! gross! The breakfast was a D-, no bagels, no peanut butter only waffles and spoiled fruit. We stayed there as we were going to Cedar Point but if any friends in the future ask our advice on where to stay I will not recommend this hotel and highly suggest not to stay there. Very unpleasant experience on a vacation we waited all summer to take :(
Advertised as an inn & suites, it was not, it was a motel with external entrances...old, run down, sketchy part of town...our lock malfunctioned and didn't work...
We attempted to check in to Baymont only to find out that Booking.com overbooked the hotel. Thanks to the front desk clerk at Baymont, she was able to find us a nearby location.
The location we ended up at was not the best place on earth, but at least it was quiet. Did not like sleeping in a non-smoking room that smelled like 10 chain smokers just checked out.
Close to cedar point
Room was dirty and old. Cleaning people didn't finish cleaning and restocking our room after first nights stay. Still dead bugs on counter around sink and had to Go to front desk to get all of our towels and Kleenex. Very overpriced for what it was. Breakfast bar was very poor, and nobody in there cleaning up after people. Would not stay here again.
Dirty Outside entry- didn't feel safe Pictures on web page totally misleading More motel than hotel
Subpar cleanliness, unsecured Wi - fi, bathroom needs updated.
Yelled at me and didn't explain room when we got there. Took funds out of 3 different cards so we lost money we needed to use. Very unprofessional. Did not know what she was doing
Close to Sedar Point
The look of the room. Pillows and bed was very comfortable.
Spider webs and bugs caught in them not wiped off the back of the front door. Room near the vending area and it got loud around 2:30am. Hotel clerk didn't care about my concern and said that no one has ever made that compliant.
The beds were comfortable. The Hotel was very close to Cedar point.
We did not care for the amount of bugs that were in the room. My son would not fall to sleep there. We had to pack up and head for home.
Close to Cedar Point. Very nice pool. Good breakfast offerings.
Rented two rooms-one had a disinfected smell-much improved after leaving room door open and airing out the area.
Rooms were not very clean, staff was very disrespectful,no frig, microwave phone was not in working order.will not stay ever again,o yes to much chlorine in pool, not kept up.
