good value for the price. Convenient location.
noisy neighbors and interstate highway
The place was clean and comfortable, thewater pressure in the shower was great place was very clean and quite faculty was nice and friendly my son had a high school tournament So location was great.
Bed was alittle hard.
staff was rude disrespectful and when I rented the room I noticed a bag on the smoke detector I told staff well at my check out point the took my 100 dollar cash deposit for the bag being over the smoke detector and at this point now they are saying it was me who did it I am so irrate and mad I have never been so disrespected in my life
Access to rooms from outside
Bathroom fans don't work.
Apparently the house cleaners do not clean under the bed or clean out the refrigerator. There was dirt and laundry under the bed and rotten food in the refrigerator. At 4:00 am I was woken up to extremely loud rap music from wasted in the parking lot. At about 5:00AM the cops came and arrested him.
Check in took 21 minutes and only 1 person before me. She forgot to have me sign something and called me at 2:10am to come back to the office!
The location was good for any travel. Shopping was close by as well as food for dinner. Gas stations around the corner. Momigis sushi is the best and their right down the street.
water leak under bathroom sink and mini fridge didn't work first night but, I was moved to another room right away.
The shower had plenty of very hot water and strong water pressure. The shower was possibly among the best I have ever experienced. Front desk staff were dedicated, enthusiastic, friendly, and seemed to genuinely care about my experience. Staff responded promptly, made me feel welcome, and helped make my stay at Crossland pleasant. The hotel is located conveniently close to a grocery store and the interstate highway.
The room was smaller than other similarly priced hotels, and there was evidence that pets had been in the room. The smoke detector had been disabled. A loud party woke me up at 3:00 in the morning and from their tones I was afraid to ask them to be quiet. (This lasted only a few minutes.) Staff addressed all of my complaints courteously and I left satisfied.
Room comes complete with kitchen stove top & small frig. You can get all utensils, dishes, toaster when you first check in, otherwise doesn't have anything. Staff very friendly & helpful especially figuring out getting my tablet on WiFi network. As an older woman traveling alone I felt safe in the facility and did not worry about my car! It was fairly close to freeway, grocery shopping and restaurants! I ended up staying there two separate occasions during my travels & used it as a base for visiting various relatives in the area! An economical, great place to stay.
It took over 3 hours to deliver the dishes, etc on both my stays, indicating it was the norm vs an exception. The second stay did not include dish soap as it did the first stay. That was the only thing and the staff apologized for the delay both times. A minor inconvenience overall...
You have a small kitchen in the room You have laundry that you can use Really great place to stay in for that price.
I chose this motel because I needed an accommodation for less than $100 on short notice. We arrived late in the evening and left the next morning. I brought a few simple food items for breakfast. The bed was comfortable, but the furniture was not. The room had one chair and two people.
There were no dishes in the kitchenette, just a sign explaining that we had to decide what we wanted and then go get it from the office. Not something I wanted to do lateat night, nor early the next morning when we were in a hurry. We ate our cereal dry from baggies with out fingers, and picked up coffee on the road. The bathroom could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Toilet shower and sink were fine, but there was a very long black hair on the back of the white bathroon door, as well as numerous smudges on the same. Obviously the housekeeping staff overlooked it. The one chair in the room was also broken.
Room looked clean Good shower Good space
Room smelled very bad Other guests made a lot of noise late into the night
Wifi and the kitchen
No towel bathroom was dirty and no cooking pans, silverware, cups, etc.......
It's not safe and everything is not clean. It should be a motel not a hotel !!! We only stayed for about less than an hour and left because it wasn't safe especially for family.
It is fine for the price.Staff was nice.It is a budget motel.
No coffee. Should have at least cheap one cup.
Friendly staff Hot water
Too, too small bed Too small TV, remote didn't work, no tv guide Had to ask for a glass to drink from Didn't feel safe for my car
Great, courteous front staff, spacious room, plentiful amenities. One new front staff member who was there the evening of the 10th was especially gracious. The kitchenette is wonderful for holding down restaurant expenses. It was our second stay at Crosslands, and we'll plan to stay there again in the future if and when we stay in Salem.
Our queen sized bed was a bit too firm. We also smelled marijuana smoke in the bathroom, but it dissipated quickly when we ran the exhaust fan and left the door open.
Did not like
Stayed there many times manager was confrintational <---------I can't spell------ eager to not listen to reason and even though they made a mistake on pushing/allowing the policies to be broken. Still threw them in my face as to its being
Shower had good pressure.
No one at front desk when we arrived. Phone was ringing and no one was around. Beds are very hard and uncomfortable. Light shining through curtins that are worn. Cigarette holes in bed spread. Paid additional for a work space which ended up being a small wooden table with 2 wooden chairs. Wires hanging from ceiling where smoke detector should be. Very long night. I should have saved the money and just driven home. Appears they have just given up.
Good location and price.
The first room we looked at smelled bad, next room was nice.
The motel had an elevator. The bed was old but was comfortable. The room was clean but an older style. It was convenient to where we were going.
It was the last room available and it was a smoking room. We had to leave a fan on to even have a good breath.
When changing rooms and rate dropped was given some money back. Was able to easily change rooms.
Had to change rooms due to the first room we were given was dirty with stains on the carpet and dust all over the room looking at if it had not been cleaned in weeks. and the curtains had holes in then allow excess light to enter the room. There was no shampoo/conditionor already in the room and when going to ask at the front desk for some they were out causing me to buy from a new by grocery store. Also did not like that the room would only be cleaned if staying for more than a week and staying only afew days we would no be given a cleaning service.
Convenient to freeway.
Double bed, no glasses in room, a/c didn't work at times.
No bed size choices terrible bed quality refrigerator freezer iced over Only one chair Presentation on web site deceptive
I liked having a refrigerator and microwave. The location was great. Wi-Fi worked well.
The bed was a bit hard.
