The king size bed was comfortable and the room was clean and presented well.
Early morning airplane noise, which you have no control of.
I like almost everything i by there more than one time and this time i have better room i love next time i get one room on clarion
Don't have breakfasts
Very comfortable bed!!!! Great resteraunt!!!! Really nice facility! Will stay everytime we go to Carrowinds!
Not Abel to get wi-fi
Not anything at all. That's all I got to say.
Pool was nice and big.
People were in the pool after midnight. They were loud and smoking in the pool. I call front desk and they did nothing. We had two rooms and both rooms the sliding glass door was open when we checked into the room. The toilet seat was not bolted down in 306. The carpet had not been vacuumed because there was food crumbs in the floor. Cigerettes buts were all over the balcony floor. Smelled musky in the rooms!
Location close to Carowinds
Old and sloppy. Despite it was just renovated the window did not close and had to be open the whole night despite the noise of the highway. The pool was also not taken too much care of. Funny smell in the hallways and elevators probably due to the lack of cleaning of the carpet floor. We found a bottle of sun cream from the former guests between the bed and the night table that means the maid did not wacuum the carpet
business center computers not working
Entire bathroom suite ceiling covered by mold. Kitchen VERY filthy, food and mice droppings, melted molded food left in microwave, filthy refrigerator with broken drawers and caked up molded food. Furniture VERY filthy with burn spots. Bedroom ceilings had gigantic water spot damage. Room smelled like mildew. I have pictures as proof.
Coffee pot had mole in it with old coffee. I did not get to have coffee in the room
Business not functioning. Room phone dead.
Pool was nice. Front desk help was good.
Cleanliness. Blankets had cigarette burns in them. elevators smelled like human urine.
Friendly staff. Transactions were an ease.
I had no refrigerator in my room. All other friends had refrigators in their room. Didn't care for Mexican restaurant . Would have been nice to have an American restaurant. Also would have been nice to have exit on pool side to the back parking lot.
air conditioning is not working in downstair pls and conception work
the price, staff was friendly and location the beds was really nice
rooms need fixing up our bathroom had water leaking from ceiling above tub, the ice box smelled real bad and bathroom had mold on walls
Air condition didn't work all that good blow dryer and outlet would not work in the bathroom and just because we put do not disturb sign on the door we were not allowed to get wash clothes and towels until the next morning . For a four star hotel I was not impressed at all it didn't even offer a continental breakfast. The restaurant in the hotel was a Mexican restaurant more for lunch and dinner.
No pool towels. We put do not disturb tag on door & dirty towels outside door. Went to carowinds all day and went to front desk for towels they had none. How were we suppose to wash with no towels. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
Closeness to carowinds
Had ants in my room
The hotel is across the street from Carowinds. I enjoyed the "la unica" restaurant. The king size bed was very comfortable and clean. The price was absolutely perfect and it's hard to complain since the important features of the hotel were spot on perfect.
It was nice to have a wifi connection, but it was very slow and did not keep a constant connection to the internet. I found that my phone had a higher speed connection with my AT&T subscription. There were some odd smells in the downstairs, the elevators and the hall outside of my tenth floor room.
My husband and I have never used Booking.com before, so there were questions I should have asked before staying at this Hotel.... The view we had of the park was amazing.
I called to confirm our reservation and ask if we could use our AARP. The staff member I spoke with told me yes ma'ma. When we got there they didn't want to give us what we were told the room was going to cost on Booking.com.... So we had to argue with the lady to get the price down and THEN cause they lowered our cost we were not allowed to use ANY discount like AARP... We are not talking a lot of savings here but when I called and I asked this lady and she told me Yes! Then to be told no we can't use it because we are getting the room at a discount anyway, is just not right.
The staff was very friendly , professional and helpful. Our room was very clean and neat.
Truthfully , it is a shame that more money has not been used for repairs and update of the structure of the hotel. It looks like nothing has been done in upkeep and maintenance since the hotel was built. It has a structuraly "unsafe" feel to it and I would not stay there again because of that.
Nice staff and room
Hotel looking a little older. Needs refreshing.
Cleanliness and comfort.
I requested a refrigerator, but didn't get one. There was only 1 bath towel for 3 of us. I had to go to the desk to get more.
