They give you dishes!! That makes staying that much more enjoyable!! The shower was nice, hot and STRONG. Felt great on my sore back from traveling.
The room I was in was run down, mold spots (I think) on the ceiling of the bathroom.
Nothing. This place is far from campus and
Staff did as much as they could
Dirty, smoke filled rooms. Cigarette butts on my door mat. Had to wear shoes in the bathroom
The place was noisy. The room was filthy, there were stains on the walls, carpet and bedsheets. The items in the kitchen were either dirty or broken. Unfortunately we had booked online, arrived at night and couldn't cancel our reservation. Under no circumstances would I ever stay there again. I strongly recommend that no one ever stay in this hotel.
Very small room. No confortable chair. Smokers on the walkway outside the room. TV must be 20 years old. Coffe stains onthe wall in the bath.
the manager told us we could walk to the concert at the MK arena. It was almost six miles! We are ladies in our 50's and it would not only have been long and tiring but we would have missed our concert and been walking back that far in the dark. They should know their surroundings a bit better.
I liked the shower. It was big, hot and very roomy.
I did not like that I had to lug all my stuff into the elevator and down the hall to the room. People were bbq_ing in the parking lot and drinking. I traveled alone with my son and it made me nervous and I felt unsafe. The beds were hard and creaky, and it sounded like someone was walking on my head all night long!
The price. Location off I-5 for passing through.
It is pretty run down. But that is reflected in the price.
By far my worst experience in a motel.
Staff handled check in problems very diligently.
We had check in problems.
The front desk person was nice and tried to be accommodating. She told the men loitering and drinking beer in front of the hotel would need to drink in their rooms. That lasted for a few hours and they were back at it again.
Lots of people drinking and smoking pot outside in front of the lobby. The door frame around our door looked like someone had previously broken into it. Lots of "marginal" people hanging out and staying there. Lots of litter in the breezeways of the property. This could be a nice, clean safe place if only they would enforce policies. We've stayed there many times since it opened because my elderly in-laws live around the corner. Given our experience last time, we may opt for a different nearby hotel.
Clean, quiet , inexpensive, excellent location
It is fairly barebones .
Not in good shape, but ok, and cheap
too many things.
the staff was friendly, but inadequately trained.
The rooms were not very clean. The first room we were given smelled like wet dog and vomit. The second had trash behind the tv. The location ran out of towels, pillows, and blankets. There were billing errors for everyone in our party, and a great deal of time had to be spent tracking down quoted prices and original bookings because dates and prices were not the same upon arrival.
Staff quickly responded to our concerns and switched us to a better room, twice.
I didn't see the 'weekly rates' part in the hotel description. There are people living in this hotel. Some residents milling about were sketchy, and the first 2 rooms they tried to put us in had a twin bed, then a double, and both reeked of cigarette smoke and cleaners to try and mask it - in non-smoking rooms.
NO housekeeping services in 4 days stay. wiFi was too slow to watch a movie. bed was small (double not queen) and made a lot of noise whenever one of us sat on it or turned over. Facility charged $50 more than you said it would be. They said they'd fix and didn't. Too expensive even for graduation time.
The fact our stay was "comped". Nothing else.
I did not get the room I reserved (one room-2 beds). Even though I booked the room 4 months in advance, and that I confirmed the day before arrival, my room was not available at check in, and my reservation was "split" meaning my wife stayed in one room with a single bed, and I was placed in another room with a single bed. My room had several urine stains in the carpet, dog?, human??, Possum???, and there was human (pubic) hair under the toilet seat, and no remote for the tv. It was almost unlivable! My wife's room had stains on the mattress, mold in the shower, and a bed that creaked so bad, she did not sleep well. I was livid!…..I called Booking the next morning first thing and spoke to a representative. She called the hotel direct to reiterate my story. I spoke to the hotel manager and she moved us to another room later that afternoon and informed me the stay was for "free". That helped for the moment!…..Our "new room" reaked of pipe smoke (we don't smoke), and the smell was atrocious!…Obviously, there were no rooms available and we endured this mess another three nights….If I were given this hotel a free stay on my next trip, I wouldn't take it. This was not a pleasant trip, and this hotel needs a lot of work…….I am sorry, I ranted so long!…….
Wifi, parking, kitchenette
Bed, pillows, cleanliness
price and kitchen appliance availability
very poor cleaning. husband cleaned light switches, handles, rails, etc and rag he used was black after he finished. not very sanitary, not good that this is a recommended place to stay by the Cancer Institute.
courteous staff and very helpful w/ selection of room and options for sights to explore!
I liked that I was only staying one night.
The room was not clean. The bedside table was covered in dust. The floors looked as if they had not been vacumed. The blankets were dirtyt with little twigs and when I checked for bed bugs (as I always do) by uncovering the mattress, I found the mattress and mattress cover were also dirty (no bed bugs).
Having a kitchenette, location and price.
Poorly equipped kitchenette and too few towels for number of people.
quiet climate control
old fashion tv.no hdmi or usb or even video in ports
I wasn't told about WiFi, could have used it.
