The woman who kept the breakfast room supplied and clean was pleasant and efficient. The desk employees were also very pleasant and helpful
Breakfast was fair, more due to selection and facility (breakfast room). However, the staff worked hard to keep it supplied, and she was very pleasant and polite while she worked.
Location, cleanliness. EASY access to Biltmore Village shops and restaurants. Access to exercise room and pool next door at DoubleTree. Parking felt secure.
very nice shower
Very thin walls and creaking floor. Upstairs traveler ran/stomped continuously all night. Furnishings were a little dated, and carpet was horrifying and did not lay flatly on floor. Water damage? Weird smell.
Good location, but not great. You CANNOT walk to Biltmore. Pool facility is at hotel next door. Despite hotel being empty - all occupants were placed on one wing, very noisy. Bathroom is extra small, but walkin shower and water pressure were nice.
Shelf in shower was small, every time I placed something on it, I knocked everything else off. Too much plastic and Styrofoam use at breakfast. Wish I had my own coffee travel mug at least, and own "mess kit" at best!
Spacious queen room. Low people density, away from crowds, quiet. Use of pool/facilities at Doubletree next door. Right off major highway, easy access to downtown and Blue Ridge Parkway.
The guy at the front desk was the nicest person. He was funny, happy, and just a great person.
Centrally located in Biltmore Village within walking distance to Biltmore Estate.
I don't spend a lot of time in the hotel when I go to Asheville, so I'm not very picky. But this place had an incredibly comfortable bed, and it's in a fairly good location for what I needed.
Our girl at check in seemed a little lost
Good location & excellent price.
Slow wifi but not a deal breaker
Great locations and free breakfast.
Bed was unacceptable. Breakfast nook was a complete afterthought. Air conditioners (not just mine) shook the floor and rattled.
Right next to Biltmore and good restaurants.
Hair dryer didn't work, and staff was not very friendly.
The woman who checked us in seemed to be confused about the booking, made a comment to my sister and I that we didn't seem to like one another, not true and not necessary to make judgements about guests.
Very clean rooms, actually liked the layout and furniture, everything seemed thought out well. Continental self-serve breakfast was fine for us.
The included breakfast could use some upgrades. We skipped it and had breakfast elsewhere simply because none of the options were appealing. The typical red apples, yoplait flavored yogurt, bagels. Eh.
Staff were friendly to my dogs and treated us the same as guests without pets! The room was clean and comfortable. Super easy drive into Asheville. Very conveniently located! If you're an active person you coupe easily walk the twoish miles into town to save yourself the trouble of finding parking! Not anything spectacular, but worth the extra dollars vs staying at a cheaper chain hotel. Found a much better price on booking's site than on the hotel's website. I'd stay there again while traveling to Asheville!
No remote control on arrival. Tv remote had problems twice. Incoming calls not answered.
Quietness mostly staff friendly.
Clean room, great value, close to Biltmore, walking distance to Resteraunt, property appears to be well maintained.
Size of room was clean but very small. We didnt have much room move around.
Excellent staff,cost and location.
The hair dryer blew up and hbo channel kept being interrupted saying " cheek with property manager. There been a disruption in your service" ... but then It'd go back to the program
Convenient location to downtown
i really enjoyed one of the employees. He was awesome in assisting us!!
Don 't have anything I didn't like.
Location to biltmore & downtown was great. Excellent for travel with a pet. Would stay here again.
The mattress wasn't very comfortable. My husband's back was hurting, but for 2 nights, it was ok.
We went to Ashville to tour the Biltmore Estate....the Downtown Abbey costumes were a wonderful addition. Hotel was within walking distance to Biltmore Village, which was charming. Hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly.
The beds were comfortable. The room was quite clean and up to date. The location of the hotel was great!
Wish there was a pool and hot tub on site.
TGI Fridays is located next door
The bed was really uncomfortably hard and the "Continental breakfast" was a bit sad.
We liked the price, the location, and the fact you can utilize amenities from the Double Tree next door as well as receive discounts at the TGI Friday's that is attached to the Double Tree.
