Cleanliness of room, comfort of bed and pillows. Location to Biltmore: Awesome! Convenient...just off I-40.
Banquet tables in hallway on third floor...strange. Hallways pretty plain looking. No décor.
Close to Biltmore Estates. Good breakfast.
Room was a little small.
The breakfast was good.
Small rooms, mold growing in shower and trash on the floor upon arrival. The beds were really hard.
shower and bed
Disappointed that the advertised pool and gym were at nearby hotel.
Location and the memory foam mattress was comfortable.
Small room, mildew smell, decor doesn't match, felt neglected and old. The carpet felt wet and was lifting across the room. The pillows are tiny, so definitely bring your own. Non-smoking wing smelled of thick cigarette smoke, and someone had a pet bird the squawked all.night.long.
Convenient to the Biltmore estate
Older building the ceiling was leaking the third floor hallway just outside of the elevator but they were already repairing it the next morning.
I liked the color of the carpet in the hallways.
I liked the room very clean and comforting when you walk in. Clean floor. Clean bathroom. I loved the shampoo and conditioner.
Nothing every thing was perfect!
Fair Room, Staff was ok. Right down the street from the Biltmore but the Vanderbilts would not have been happy with this hotel.
Had to go to the next door Hotel (Double Tree) to use the fitness room and pool. The room we were booked in had no bath tub. Wi-Fi was free but you had none to little use out of it. It was so slow my IPad said bump it and wouldn't connect to it, even with a good signal.
The location is very good, nature of the area wonderfull. Good restaraunts and bars nearby.
Beds were uncomfortable, furniture is old and low quality, toilet door could not be closed properly. The breakfast was poor. Sports facilities were in an another hotel nearby.
Bed was comfortable, shower was very roomy. Location easy to get to and convenient.
Plastic cards not working to enter room, had to go to guest services on numerous occasions, usually with only one employee on the. front desk. Carpet on stairs not looking very clean. Air conditioning rather noisy through out the night.
This property is an old Sleep Inn and very much in need of updating. It does not have a pool it shares that with another hotel on the property over the hill. At $165 it left a lot to be desired.
The location was ideal for visiting the Biltmore Estate. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our stay!!
Good sized, clean rooms, far enough back from road to minimize traffic noise, good central location. Good parking & building access. Get what you pay for, don't pay for what you don't want/need.
Photos are misleading! No pool on site, yet it is the first picture! No where does it state that the pool is next door at Doubletree! Had to make two calls to front desk at 12:30 am due to noise from room above. Not really concerned whether we were disturbed. Got double beds when reservation was for queens. Costs way to much for the quality!
It was interesting the way the wall curved to accomodate the shape of the shower.
I don't believe I've ever been in such a small hotel room. A new bed is needed as my husband and I kept rolling to the center of the soft old bed.
Upon exiting elevator they had chairs and tables piled up by it. The room was horrible, the bed was suppose to be a tempurpedic mattress (I have one at home so) and it was the worst EVER. There wasn't a comforter on the bed, the heat/air was antiquated and somewhat uncontrollable. In the middle of the night my husband had to sit in the chair because his back hurt from the bed. My back and hips hurt as well. and when I spoke to the front desk person I was told Well, so sorry about that but because you booked on line there isn't anything I can do. I didn't pay for it on line, I paid there with a credit card. Booking.com only assisted in making the reservation.
Close to downtown and Biltmore estates
bed was way too soft. AC unit very load
The Wifi worked in the room. Location was close to attraction. Had coffee at "breakfast?"
Asked for a non smoking room, and received a deodorized room. The pool was down the street at another Hotel. The room was small. Only half a roll of toilet paper 4 people 2 day. Room card quit working morning of departure.
Price, dog friendly, location, fairly clean
Noise between rooms, small rooms and bathroom, no pool etc unless you walk to other hotel
I liked that it was central to everything. Lots of restaurants nearby. The Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village was just a couple of blocks away. It was also a pet friendly hotel, but did not smell like one. My dogs loved the yard in the back. I think this was just taken over by another chain, so they were sprucing things up.
The mattresses were awful. I tossed and turned all night and couldn't get comfortable. I could actually feel the springs. The next day my back was killing me. There was also trouble with the key cards opening my room. I had to have them changed several times, then finally figured out, that if you put the key in and out of the slot a few times, it would finally turn green. I'm hoping the new owners will fix these problems. Otherwise it's a decent hotel at a decent price.
The location of the Hotel as it relates to the Biltmore House was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel is very outdated. The room we stayed in was extremely small. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows were small.
The location is very good if you want to visit The Biltmore and Biltmore Village. The front desk girl gave us one of the larger handicapped accessible rooms that was available when she saw how upset I was at finding this was the old Sleep Inn. Staff was nice. Place looked clean.
The rooms here are so tiny. We'd stayed here for an overnight stop once, and I said I'd never go here again. As bare bones as it gets although clean. I didn't recognize this as the former Sleep Inn with the new name and description. We travel with our dog and need to choose pet friendly hotels. Will pay more and stay at Doubletree next time for same location and a nicer hotel.
Great price for a last minute trip.
