The staff was extremely friendly, hard-working and accommodating!
This is an old hotel, nothing fancy. I found the bed too hard.
Breakfast was okay once you heated it up
After driving 7 hours thru an ice storm and encountering many cars in ditches we we were "welcomed" by 2 individuals that didn't even say.hello. We felt like we were bothering them and we were reminde that she had had a long day. Rooms were dirty and smelled like vomit!
Really appreciated the free WiFi, the VERY comfie bed, wonderful indoor swimming pool & whirlpool and very nice workers. Great deal for the money.
I, of course, would have liked it to be more plushly comfortable, but I needed the value more because of our budget, so I feel it was a great deal for what I paid. It is an older hotel and they have put their money where it is most important-nice TV, free WiFi, NICE bed, VERY nice indoor pool & whirlpool.
Worst stay in years. Nasty, door didn't lock and tub filled/stopped up.
The online ratings didn't look good but this was the old Days Inn. The staff was incredibly accommodating. The pool was nice and warm in the middle of winter, The hot tub was spotless and everything was freshly painted. This will be my go to hotel as it is 1 mile away from the city center and has easy access to a variety of restaurants.
I liked the location, right off the freeway and not far from mall area which had several options for food and gas.
it was quiet place. cleaning was good. heating was good. tv was good. facility was in decent shape. all and all good stay I have had worse. thank you for doing a good job. I would stay there again.
there was a beer can in the bushes when we arrived and still there when we left. need to have a sign where things are like the vending machine or pop machine and if you offer washer and dryer a sign would be good. then again I could have missed them too.
I liked the pool and the hot tub. The bed wasn't too bad it was very comfortable. I like the size of the bathroom it was very good size it wasn't cramped or anything it was pretty roomy
The staff did not seem too happy about their job in the breakfast just really sucked.for being a hot breakfast like with the biscuits and gravy it was pretty cold.
We enjoyed the location at the end of the hall to visit with the other couple traveling with us.
The staff was friendly.
The room was okay but the sink was stained, the toilet seat was scratched up, the bed and pillows were horribly uncomfortable. When you walk into the lobby it smelled of stall cigarettes.
The desk clerk Friday night tried to be helpful.
The rooms were not well cleaned. There was a turpentine smell that didn't go away. Walls needed repair and paint. In the first room we were given, the faucet was not attached to the wall and plastic shelves are not toilet lids. If I would have had time I would have found another hotel.
It was a convenient location.
The staff was difficult and slightly rude on the phone when presented with a relatively normal request. The room while clean showed obvious signs of wear.
the location was good
very unkept property...bathrooms not clean...décor very out of date...lots of noise in hallways late at night
This hotel was located in the town of Columbia and ok for an overnight before heading home after a big football game.
The shower is dangerous. It would run from extreme cold to extreme hot in an instant.
Husband enjoyed the pool. Clerk accommodated us for an early check in. We were only about a 60-90 mins early and she said rooms weren't ready but then found us a room.
Jacked up price for Homecoming. To be fair, however, all the hotels do it. This one really shouldn't have since it was way overrices for value. Roaches in hallway. Tacky looking rooms made me feel they were not clean, stains on carpet and bedspreads. Bathrooms need caulk and paint. Beds were hard. AC barely cooled room.
Like every other hotel in the area, they Jack their prices for University Homecoming weekend. A good place to stay but definitely not worth $179.99 a night.
Breakfast was ample, easy to find for out of town guests. It's not a Hilton, so don't expect it to be.
Price on a football weekend was to high, the grounds could use some attention. There were some creative fixes in the room, I used my own pliers to tighten the shower head
Customer service friendly staff!
The proximity to Mizzou
Roach, spider and cricket in original room, also with strong smoke smell. Had to switch rooms, and never ONCE did the desk person apologize. Room/hotel looks like it hasn't had updating in 30 years. Gross!!
The beds were not comfortable, the bedspreads were old and ratty, the hairdryer did not work, the phone did not work and the door did not close automatically the way it was supposed to. We made the mistake of paying with a debit card and they billed us 3 times for the room!! then they claimed to have credited it but we are still waiting. Our bank had to give us temporary credit while the claim is being processed. Add to that the fact that the rate was more than twice the normal rate because it was a special weekend - that was a lot of money!
The location for our needs perfectly and the night staff was very nice.
The day staff was rude on the phone and would not work with us on a late checkout even though the parking lot/rooms were empty. When we got to the room there were roaches and bugs everywhere, it was disgusting but we were there for a wedding and could not leave. When we did check out the staff was very short with us almost bossy about giving them the key and acted as if we were aliens when we informed them of the infestation, to which there was never an apology. I will not tell anyone to stay there, ever.
My bed was hard broken toilet and loud al night
Hotel was run down and looked worn out
2 inches standing water in bath tub upon arrival. bugs in room. dirty floors. hot tub and pool water was filthy! Certainly expected more for $119.00 a night. Will not be getting any of my business in future.
