Located off Interstate 85, features of this hotel include a indoor swimming pool and a continental breakfast. Livingstone College is less than 15 minutes’ drive away.
Score from 33 reviews Good
Older motel. Did not have up to date flat screen televisions. This is the only motel I've stayed in the last four years that did not have up to date televisions. for a chain motel, this is inexcusable.
aff - Wanted room downstairs because of bad back, did not change or very helpful - seem like they did not care.
Not expensive, located convenient to the places I needed to visit
Room needs attention to details, like peeling paint
Very decent room for the money. Wasn't too sure based on outward appearance and other reviews but was pleasantly surprised when i got in my room. Quiet area. Receptionist was nice and assured me I would be okay staying alone. Then she called after I had been in the room for a few minutes to make sure everything was OK, which was nice.
Old AC unit but functional. Old ice machine I wouldn't dare think of using. One of the other guests let their dog outside of one of the rooms and I think the housekeepers kept walking by it. Oh, and there was a used band aid on the floor.
The heating/cooling was not working properly, we could hear the guest above us all night and the room did not smell fresh. The staff did not clean our bathroom while we were there.
Bugs everywhere. It smelled like poop everywhere. Filthy.
It was a fair price It was clean Good Breakfast
Made several requests for a room change and they were not responded too. The room was very dark with poor lighting.
Right off the interstate and close to eating establishment
Would have like the wifi code printed on my receipt
The Ants and Roaches!! Not a good look. You should've at least offered a free night at another Econo Lodge.
I liked the cleaning staff came in and made my bed and cleaned up the room every day.
I didn't like the guest that were doing Olympic games at 2am above my head. I didn't like the bed, it had more of a cardboardy feel to it The cleaning staff has Food Lion/Walmart shopping carts to put dirty linen in to roll around. Can you not afford an actual rolling laundry bin?
The door was hard to shut, had to make sure it was latched. Not enough outlets, there was a desk but no place to plug in laptop
easy access to Interstate and downtown area.
outside areas need cleaning up, continental breakfast could have been a bit more substantial, better quality of sweet pastries.
It was close to the assembly location we were attending.
The staff from the minute we checked in were rude, the room was very small and it was filthy. There were stains all over the walls and it had bugs!!!!!! I couldn't even sleep at night knowing that. I was scared to even look under the mattress. Definitely not a place to cont back and relax at after a long day. The people who stay there were very sketchy and our first night all we could hear was booming music from outside. I did not feel safe one bit. I will never stay again. I would rather drive back and forth from Raleigh every day than sleep there for one night.
Staff were warm, friendly, and professional.
Noise coming from upstairs room.
Location and price to value
First room the A/C didn't work.
The girl at the front desk was nice and friendly. Reasonably priced. Easy to find. Nice simple breakfast included.
The room was clean other than the white mystery stains on the blanket, the empty packet of boner pills under the bed and the bandaid in the tub drain. The lady provided another blanket way too small for the king bed and it had to have been 30 some years old, very pilly and almost falling apart. We were disappointed.
- Room size - bed size - microwave - mini-fridge
Front desk help
The clerk at the front desk gave our room a call about 15min After we got there to ensure we liked our room and to see if we needed any thing.
The door handle to our room was not locking right away when we left our room. Then our key wouldn't open the door back up right away either.
Price and close to interstate. Breakfast included.
Non-smoking room had been smoked in.
Nothing. I wont stay there again.
The employees and the owner very rude
They had bed bugs and are not trying to refund me fully for my stay
pillows a little small
great spot to stop clean space and pleasant staff
The sheets were clean. The shower had pretty good pressure.
The room was cramped, they were very stingy with the towels & shampoo. The tv was old & the remote didn't work. The in room phone kept ringing late into the night so we pulled out the wire so we could have peace! The beds were too soft.
