Good location right off I95. Comfortable bed. Pretty clean for an old property, decent breakfast for what you pay. I think it's a good value, but don't expect luxury.
Needs updating with maintenance work wallpaper peeling poor paint jobs messed up ceilings, old furniture and curtains. Pool not available for use.
Restaurant on premises
old, needs renovation
The assistant clerk was friendly and the breakfast helper was nice.
First, the room had a damp smell and the cardkey wouldn't work for thye door in the hall. The outer door entrance was difficult to open. The front desk clerk tried to put us in another room but the air wasn't working. So, we were put in the first room(114). Reported this to the manager but we were not satisfied. We will coming to Lumberton often because our son will be playing football for UNC at Pembroke. We will bring several people to him. Lost Revenue because of this treatment.
Tub and sink didn't drain. The Tiolet was much to close to the sink
The staff was very polite.
There was a cockroach in the bathroom and the bed covers were dirty.
saved me from a dead battery in the morning noticing parking lights on in my car at 3am and called to alert me to turn off.
close to I-95 / gas, places to eat / Pet Friendly
first floor smelled of smoke, and is in poor condition.... pet friendly, but area for pets poor,
Not too much.
cleanliness, bedding, breakfast was very poor
ROOM SMELLED LIKE CIGARETTES
Was a good value was close to restaurants and stores
THE LOCATION WAS GREAT, getting to and from the the hotel was great. Staff went out of their way to assist the special requests I made and they (Maria) made it happen for my son and I.
The pool looked very out dated and wasn't close to being ready for swimming. The doors were not secure as I thought, they were loose and could be easily entered by a criminal. The outside door(s) didn't work properly for key card entry. They would not lock.
Room' not clean; Loud music loud talking ,Party going on in the parking lot. we did not get any sleep or rest. the parking lot was a mess with bag and paper. also in k-mart parking lot. we reported it to the front desk.
The room had an unpleasant odor from the time I entered & unfortunately, it clung to my clothes when I left. In addition, the very first thing I did was attempt to turn on the lights & discovered that the switch was broken. Which left me to stumble around the gloomy room searching for the nearest lamp. The bathroom was a nightmare, the tub was especially unsanitary. The peeling & decaying caulking around the shower didn't help either. Even the mini fridge was scuffed, dented, & carried an especially rank odor which precluded any attempt at usage. Even if you could somehow ignore all of that & decided to make the best of it & try to watch some television, you would be forced to break out your magnifying glass in order to view the laughably miniature screen on the scarred & peeling stand. This place was a disappointment, to say the least & certainly wasn't worth the rate charged.
1) many places to go and eat so it was a good location just not situated on a quiet parcel of land.
1) curtains did not have proper # of hooks to attach to the curtain rod leaving gaps where much light filtered through 2) there was some sort of machinery that was on ALL night creating a disturbance 3)folks who occupied the rooms peeked out of their windows and doors when we left our room. Gave a seedy feeling to this establishment. 4) desk clerk had a baby on her hip and therefore could not do her work efficiently or professionally. There was also a young man hanging around the front desk talking with her. Very, very unprofessional. I have to say she was courteous and extremely friendly but the baby thing is a no no 5) The actual lobby was very dark..and why was there a Christmas spray of flowers still on the front desk? 6) When flushing the toilet you had to hold the handle and watch to see that all contents had been sufficiently disposed of. 7) the curtains were threadbare so streams of light were able to seep through the curtains. 8) Sorry but I would not recommend this establishment to anyone coming to visit this area.
hotel was nice and comfortable.
noise. all night long, in the hallway,. and midnight during one of our EVENINGS, SOMEONE BEAT ON OUR ROOM DOOR, SEVERAL TIMES. WE IGNORED IT, AND EVENTUALLY THEY WENT AWAY, BUT, THEY WOKE US UP. THE NIGHT BEFORE, SEVERAL PEOPLE IN THE HALL, LATE AT NIGHT, SHOUTING AND TALKING LOUDLY. SLEEP WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE.
the room need a good cleaning. Behind headboard was gross! It smelled like stale cigarette smoke. In much need of updating. Pull out couch was filthy...so gross thank goodness I didn't have to sleep on it. NO SHOWER CURTAIN. VERY uncomfortable feeling.
excellent value, clean, good location, felt secure and very nice restaurant on premise
smokey, dirty, smelly, toilet leaked
