That there was a room available at last minute, the front desk woman was very nice and gave me directions to the restaurant with the best(!) seafood in the area.
No complaints. Didn't have enough time to explore all the amenities.
Cleanliness, size of room,helpful staff.
Nothing really - apart from the noisy fridge which we turned off overnight!
Lady in charge of breakfast
Hotel very outdated, including all decor, bathrooms, furnishings, etc... We were on a two week New York, Boston, Berkshires trip and this was easily the worse value lodging we experienced.
Too many tour buses. Could not eat breakfast because tour bus crowd hogged the dinning room.
High standard, clean and central location. Very good breakfast.
Friendly and helpful desk staff.
Good location for central Portsmouth and access to main highways.Very helpful and friendly staff.Nice pool and gym facilities.Although on a busy highway the hotel is set well back so no traffic noise.
Breakfast very poor with few options-the only thing that lets the hotel down!
Beds were comfortable. Staff was good.
Longer drive into Portsmouth than I would have liked
Home like friendly atmosphere... Clean..close to everything.. Great breakfast! Wonderful weekend..a must do again !
Comfortable bed and pillows. Location. Staff was very polite, even when there was a fire drill.
You could hear everything going on in the hallway. We were woken up at midnight by guests. TV remote batteries were just about dead.
Top floor room away from elevator - quiet night's sleep.
7Am Fire alarm went off in hotel but nothing went off in room. It was not clear we should evacuate. No call from desk, no fire alarm in room. Hallway smelled of cigarette smoke even though it was no smoking floor.
Attractive, clean property. Attentive staff offered good suggestions for restaurants, and helped debug the balky wi-fi system. Computers by the front desk were great and gave me Internet access when the wi-fi was temporarily non-resposive in the room. I was able to do all I needed to do on those downstairs computers.
The only minor negative was the wi-fi. It eventually worked in the room, but the approval screen that allows you to proceed failed to appear on several tries, and that blocked wi-fi access. This was eventually resolved with help from the front desk. In the meantime the computers by the front desk were available to access the Internet.
Staff we friendly and helpful
Wi-Fi was not good, breakfast was fair.
The room was clean. There were plenty of towels. The pillows were really nice. Breakfast was very good.
The bed was terrible! It was too soft and sagged in the middle. The air conditioner was noisy and when the room reached temperature, it warmed back up rapidly. We didn't sleep much. We checked out the pool but it was a bit mirky so we passed on that.
First hotel ever where you could not wash in the bathroom as the sink was in the bedroom. Did not bother with the breakfast on the 2nd day. It was awfull
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but cleanliness and noise level are always important to me, and this hotel was great in both respects. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. I usually don't sleep well when traveling, but did here!
The only downside was a small pool. The kids wanted something a bit bigger, but again, it was clean so that's more important!
Non smoking room. Shower heads too short!
Place was nice and clean. Nice assortment for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful.
Chairs in breakfast area were stained and dirty.
short drive to downtown parking garage in Portsmouth. breakfast was better than most
room smaller than other Comfort Inns Wash basin in main living area Window Heat/AC units are always too noisy and no auto control
Most mornings there was no fruit.
Personnel was very kind and helpful
Rugs should be changed . That it is the only negative point
