Reserved a room that was advertised with two beds for two adults and two teenage boys. Got room with one bed, one loveseat that pulled out onto a couch and my 15 yr old had to sleep on the cushions, on the floor, with our pillow and the bedspread from our bed. This because when I called the front desk for an extra blanket, they claimed they didn't have extra. Only two towels and wash rags in a room reserved for four, didn't have any extra of those either.
Breakfast was awful! The scrambled eggs were cut up, barely warm hard boiled egg. Had to ask for milk. Workers were both outside smoking.
Bathroom sink was stopped up. Reported it, nothing was done.
Very weak lighting, even with all lights on room was "dim"
very roomy, friendly staff, good location (just off interstate) but not noisy
After being stuck on I 65 and traveling on roads too icy to speak of we were able to get a rm on line. The staff of 4 had stayed knowing a bad storm was heading in an worked 48 hours w occasional sleep. They pitched in taking turns cleaning and working the desk and getting breakfasts. this staff saved lives by remaining on duty and keeping the hotel open . all with a polite smile and professional attitude. this group of staff needs a bonus and my thanks
Rooms were nice but will need to be updated in near future. No elevator, but they quickly changed us to a ground level room - will specify next time.
Very friendly staff, nice entry and breakfast area Pet friendly and only charged $10 extra for her. Other hotels in area charging $50!! Beds were super nice and comfortable. Everything was very clean. Will love to stay again. Price was right!
I had a message on my phone and the hotel staff person could not tell me how to access it. I was told they had forgotten and it instructions were not written down anywhere.
Staff was friendly, hotel was clean and comfortable and the food was good.
Breakfast at 7.00 to late we like to leave by 7.00 but that's ok
Location, staff and facility?
Some lights did not work in room
There were plenty of rooms available and they could not provide two rooms adjoin. We did get a room that had the adjoining door, but someone else was spending the night there. We asked a month in advance.
Did not like that someone on our floor had a dog which wakened me very early in the morning with it's barking..
Liked the breakfast. Liked the bed.
The room had some type of odor, but we got used to it. And the door stuck, so it was really hard to open and close. (But if those are the biggest issues we had, that means everything was really good.
The staff was extremely friendly. They even called us by name. And the breakfast was awesome. We stayed 3 nights and every morning they had something different.
Depending on which room you have, there is some street noise from interchange. Minifridge was noisy, so unplugged it to sleep.
Breakfast was good, and staff friendly. Enjoy morning paper with breakfast. Bedroom comfortable.
No ice at breakfast.
I don't think any fabric softeners were used on the sheets - little rough to touch.
Towels, sheets white/clean.
We arrived later than planned, staff was excellent in getting us checked in.
outside grounds were trashy
very clean rooms and helpful housekeeping staff
wifi was hard to use, didn't work
The bathrooms need to be updated.
Pillows were very uncomfortable and bathroom was not cleaned well enough. There were footprints on the wall.
Facilities looked old and dated
The staff were very accomodating, the rooms were clean, great beds and pillows. The breakfast was very good and the staff kept everything fresh and restocked.Over all great stay for our price range.Would stay there again.
Lack of communication within staff. Frustration of personnel was evident. They seemed to want to do a good job, but were put in a situation that made it difficult. A nice set up for breakfast, but insufficient staff to make it happen. A kind housekeeper (not on duty yet) was running to replenish supplies and get refills for food. She never complained, but it was not a good situation. When she finally had to leave, people simply were not serviced. Lack of communication with front desk and housekeeping personnel regarding who had checked in and out. Just not good management systems in place. Maybe we were there on a bad day... I've been in management so notice these things.
Location--handy right off I65, by restaurants. Comfortable room; wi-fi. Friendly staff.
