Bed was comfortable. TV had good picture. Good in room coffee.
The pillows were terrible small feather pillows. The air conditioner was too loud to turn on at night.
The separate beds
Great place to stay. I liked the two seperate rooms in the queen suite. Also they had a great breakfast. Was clean and people were friendly.
The breakfast The shower
Price --location Towels etc good quality
Poor decor--- only one bedside lamp. Poor room lighting--ceiling lights obtrusive
Very clean place
Everything was so good! The room was spacious and it included very good coffee
The breakfast was relatively light, when you consider the rate.
the HD TV and the free subscription to HBO - I 've seen a lot of movies... the bed and the pillows - I slepts very well. the coffee making facilities & the fridge the bath although it was very simple
there were no computer facilities if you did not bring your own laptop the breakfast was poor, but luckily there was a MacDonald's nearby the airconditioner was terribly noisy
Nice and clean room.
We stayed in a room with two beds. The room is really spacious. The kitchenette area was very useful.
The room was dated though it was clean.
Size of the room and the bar in the room.
Very updated, clean hotel. Quiet, close to a lot of resturants, great Thai food near hotel. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit. Coffee maker with starbucks coffee, and bottled water in room nice touch. Comfortable beds. Definately would use again.
Not really a breakfast area, had to eat in our room. No elevator for second floor.
Big room, quiet and clean Food stores nearby
Not in walking distance from campus, you need a car and pay for the parking
Staff were great. Was a basic motel, but has been recently updated so the beds were quite comfy. Starbucks coffee in rooms. Small room fridges nice too.
A/C blows curtains out into room, but I anchored them with my shoes ;-) Cost is high, but actually a pretty good deal considering the prices in the area.
Convenient location close to Stanford University. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet.
The wi-fi connection was a bit unreliable.
Location was close to Packard hospital and within walking distance to food options
This hotel says it is boutique, but looks terrible on the inside. Old furniture and appliances. The carpet and linens are dated. It looks like they repainted the outside and got a modern logo to get people in the door. I could have stayed at a cheaper chain hotel for the price and amenities.
Friendly staff at reception Decent location for visiting Stanford (right beside Marguerite free shuttle buses)
Internet was sluggish
The room was nice, pretty quiet, the bed comfortable and I would consider staying there again, if I could be assured of a decent shower!
There were a few things that made the stay less than ideal. The tub was clean inside, but had several long black hairs stuck to the outside. The water pressure in the tub was good, but in the shower-head it was non-existent, and the temperature ranged from ice cold to scalding. There was only one large towel.
Location was great....bed was comfortable. Breakfast adequate.
The room was stuffy so you had to have the window open. Expensive for the quality of the facility.
Clean and comfortable. Much nicer than the hotel in SF we stayed at that was more $. One young man at the desk very friendly and helpful. I liked that breakfast was offered: cereal, juice, fresh fruit and that we could it in our room.
The door was pretty thin so we could easily hear loud neighbors as they came and went. But no street noise even though it's on a busy street. Would have preferred real cups/utensils for breakfast to minimize trash. Iron sputtered and stained a shirt.
Discription for my 2 bedroom queen suite stated a separate living space but when got there they said that was incorrect and no rooms had this discription...there was a kitchenette bar with two stools but no chairs in the whole suite. One of the bedrooms was a open area as you walked in the door. So I was disappointed in the description.
We arrived late around 10pm but someone was already at the front desk to welcome us and give the key. Staff was friendly and helpful. Basic necessities are met. Bed is comfy. Facilities also include shower, AC, TV, microwave, coffee maker, ironing board too! Pretty cool. Breakfast is good, more than adequate considering it's free. The area is quiet. I'd say money was well spent for our 3-day stay. This hotel is better for people whose primary purpose for trip is pleasure and people who don't mind walking / waiting a bit.
My mom found it difficult to sleep because the AC in our room turned on and off by itself every now and then - even when we switched the settings from auto to high or low. My sleep wasn't bothered by it though. The temp/weather is cool enough without AC. What we both agreed was difficult to control is the shower temp. A little to the left would be scorching hot, a little to the right would be bloody cold. It's tricky to get the right temp. Finally, Stanford was farther than I expected. It was quite inconvenient to travel from Parmani, especially on the weekend when the Marguerite shuttle is limited to three lines. Although the stop for bus 22 is right across the street, the bus doesn't really arrive on time.
Location, staff, bedrooms
Same food each day for continental breakfast
This place was clean and did not have the musty smell of many hotels I've been in. The beds were comfortable. The people were friendly and helpful. The room we booked was a two bedroom suite, with one of the beds in the living area and the other in a separate room. It had a kitchenette with two burners. I would book it again!
I missed the entrance to the hotel the first time I arrived. It is a little tricky to enter, especially when there is traffic.
