the desk clerk eric and his boss were able to change our room to first floor or we were going to leave. they were very nice and were under a great strain about the elevator and renovations being done
we did not know there were no elevators we were put on 3rd floor. my wife has a bad ankle and we had a lot of luggage for a 4 days stay.
Accessible location and in-house amenities, wonderful breakfast, and a free shuttle anywhere you want to go in a three mile radius make this hotel a quality money saver in the Buckhead area. Plus, the staff is excellent and there is a park nearby if you have kids or pets or simply want some air. I recommend a room at the back where you look out on nothing but trees. Definitely stay here if you are in the area for more than a night or two and want to save and have the option of cooking for yourself.
Better silverware and plates would've been nice, but the staff let us take plates and silverware to our room, so it was fine.
Suite set-up, TV, Lobby food
3rd floor access in rain without a working elevator due to renovations was very difficult. If you have heavy bags request another room. Seems like it will be nice next summer when the work is done.
Location, breakfast , c lean but for the cigarette smoke.
Someone had smoked in the room. Smoke continued to co me thru the vent system thruout the visit...so much that after leaving our clothes and bags still smell smokey.
+big rooms +friendly staff
-hotel is under renovation, so it was a little tricky to find our apartment and you should expect dust everywhere.
The staff was accommodating and helpful! The room itself was comfortable.
The kitchen was ill equipped. There was no utensils, or cooking supplies. There wasn't even dish soap?? My event started at 0700 and the breakfast starts later on the w/e so we couldn't even take advantage of that.
Construction and distance to lobby
very small room, very big bed. Needs updating. Kitchen had only plastic supplies. Had to call front desk for pots and pans. Toliet right next to bathtub.....YIKES....room was very creepy....will not stay there again unless some MAJOR RENOVATIONS.
the facilities, staff, and room were excellent. we will certainly consider staying with you on our future visits.
The kitchen was amazing! Full size appliances & an oven! The shower pressure was fantastic! The couch was very comfortable and we even had a recliner in the room! Breakfast was great!
It was so difficult to sleep. The room we stayed in had access from the outside. There were lights right outside the room that went on every night at dark and stayed on until 730 am. This would have been fine except there were no shades or curtains on the windows, only blinds. So the bedroom was super bright ALL night long. There is no way to shut the light off. Also they were doing construction at the hotel. So at 730 am all the construction workers were yelling at each other in Spanish. And when I say yelling, I mean yelling. They were so loud.
It was comfortable, clean, and very convenient to restaurants and shopping. When ever I'm in Atlanta this is where we will be staying!!!!
There was construction going on but it really didn't hinder our stay or our comfort, will still be recommending it to stay
The room configuration. Private bedroom
Noise from cleaners yard workers and construction
Great value. Nice new room.
No elevator - couldn't accommodate us on low floor with all our equipment for a tradeshow.
The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was good and inside was clean but outside was bad didn't see pool! They have a limousine service and took us to local Mall and to the Marta.
We weren't told beforehand that there were major works going on. We were put in a room on the third floor with no lift! And between two rooms that were being renovated, they started banging at 7-30am! We were behind yellow danger tape! They said that they were full but not convinced!
Location is fine. Apartment was old, but fairly clean considering the age.
- Wifi was defect and no solution could be provided. - Renevation works at neighboring apartments caused a lot of frustration, like noice between 8am and 7pm and a lot of rubble on the paths to the apartment. Sometimes even very difficult to reach our entrance. After complaining, the staff claimed that this was mentioned on all the booking sites. Checking Booking.com, they confirmed that it was probably forgotten, but still refused to take this into consideration when making the final bill. Very dissapointing, and I'll never use this hotel again!
Loved the breakfast, staff, location
Couldn't pick up wi fi, hot tub was down
Rooms were nice although the hotel was in the middle of a refurb which we were not made aware of on booking. Will be lovely when completed.
The receptionist on check was not very welcoming and not very helpful when asked for advice and directions etc.
Staff & location
Room moldy ,carpet dirty &stained ,two bath rooms one trash can , walls dirty needed more seating , no dinning set
Our room was old, faded furniture, dirty, wrinkled carpet. Very disappointed based on reviews I read. I understand there may be improvements taking place, but that was not evident anywhere in our room.
The price for the suite was unbeatable. I felt like I had a small apartment for the weekend for under $90 a night.
My only complaint was there weren't any pans available for cooking when I requested them.
Wifi didnt worked
The staff members are amazing (Natasha) LaShay, Aries, LaToya and Lee. I loved every single moment at that hotel. I wouldn't change it for anything
The manager is so rude and unfriendly. In my opinion he doesn't deserve to be a manager and also there could be a wider variety of breakfast it was the same thing most days. Also the pool could do with a little more chlorine and cleaning. Wayyy too many bugs inside and the 'spa' that was never open was abit of a pain in the neck.
Size of room; location and ease of travel to downtown Atlanta; breakfasts; friendliness of staff.
Outside stairways were rather dingy and dirty, but part of this is probably due to ongoing reconstruction.
The room was large and spacious. The price was reasonable. The office staff were very friendly.
The windows had very poor blinds. We had to go to the office to get blankets which we placed over windows to have privacy. There was a lot of people just hanging out in the parking lot - in cars - on the porches. This was true even at 5:45 a.m. when we were leaving for an early appointment.
Room was a large suite.
The bed was a solid slab of granite, I am sure. Nothing you sleep on should be that hard.
