peeling paint. bathroom door didn't close. floor not clean upon arrival. overall dingy.
the room was very nice, and I had a smokers room that didn't smell like smoke. That was a plus for us!
The bed and pillows were great. The breakfast was pretty good.
Our door was very difficult to open. I know they were getting to them all but it was a pain. The building is old and patched even though they did some remodeling.
I liked that the hotel was minutes away from everything.
The hallways were a bit outdated in its decor but the rooms were nicer than expected.
Access to the main roads and the price. The beds, though small if you are two adult - size people, we're clean and comfy. It cost $93 for one night but we booked two so price went down to $150 for two nights. I would not have paid one cent over for this place.
The hotel is situated next to a casino type establishment. Since we were there during the week, it wasn't too bad. Can't imagine a weekend. The halls and rooms smelled of a type of cleaner such as lysol but it was as though they were covering a musty smell. The door to the bathroom didn't shut, it had expanded due to moisture. There were signs of mold painted over but it was beginning to come through. The tub didn't drain normally. It took 20 minutes between showers to drain some. The elevators broke down, the pool was dirty. Staff was nice but ignored you. The hotel is supposedly under reno, but I've stayed at places under reno and they were very clean and I saw signs of renovations. Not here!! Won't stay there again.
The young lady who assisted me throughout all the troubles was very nice, despite the fact that I was perturbed she stayed calm and assured my daughter a ND myself.
The entire hotel had a nasty odor except the 6th floor. I was in room 221 to start but the door was falling off the hinges and I couldn't close it so I was going to use the in room phone to call the front desk but all the buttons wee off the phone so I had to use my cell. They sent up maintenance but he couldn't fix it so he said if I lift the door and slam it quickly it would close. That was ridiculous so I went back down to the front desk and they showed me 3 different rooms. The 1st had a nasty toilet and foul odor. The second had paint chipping, covers in the hall, no microwave, and nasty bathroom floor. The 3rd room on the 6th floor was best but upon getting ready for bed there were makeup stains in the bed and hair in the pillow casings, hair in the shower and the microwave didn't work so I had to go downstairs to feed my kid. I have never been so mortified and disgusted by hotel in my life. Nothing was satisfactory but the employee, she needs a raise. And this stay cost me $113.95 they did refund 11 dollars but to me that was not sufficient this hotel is only suited for prostitutes and one night stands. Keep your family/children away.
Not much. We had reserved the room for 2 nights, left after one. I am a longtime, card carrying Comfort Inn customer. Have never had such a poor experience
Room & Bath not properly cleaned. Breakface facility a desaster
Not knowing about renovations until arriving
I liked the decor of the room.
That the walls were two toned and the room was not clean. The carpet behind the tv stand was coming off the wall. The bathroom was disgusting.
the bed was the most of everything it was very comfortable.
the water in the sink didn't get hot, one of the rooms toilet ws stopped up and our door didn't close all the way we had to slam it.
When we got there the toilet was broken front desk gave us a plugger I told I tried but would need a profroesional to fix it 1 hr later man came but only tempory fixed it in morning still needed to be plugged than shower was not draining !
The bed where very comfortable
I got what I paid for I guess!
Some way Booking.com should have known that the hotel was under remodeling. So they could have let me know what to expect. Carpet falling down from sides of the walls...key cards not working at outside entrances...they had to prop the door to the pool open with a rock. The bathroom door trim was falling off. On arriving to my room it was open with the door guard. I was truly afraid to enter, but I did. I immediately noticed there were no towels and when I went down to retrieve them and I told the front desk attendant she stated, "Housekeeping was supposed to come back and put the towels in and that is why the door was open." Day two there were no wash towels and the tub was not cleaned. The carpets truly could have been vacuumed more thoroughly in the hallways and windows cleaned. The doors had to be slammed to close them so my neighbors could here me come and go just like I could here them come and go throughout the night.
Location was great. Lots of things close by.
Room door was really hard to open. Were out of things at breakfast. Parking lot was a little weird.
The beds were the best I have slept on in a hotel recently. Must have been brand new mattresses as part of their renovation??!!
Overall appearance of the hotel was poor but they are renovating. We personally had enough bad experiences on our visit to warrant us never considering using that hotel again and we visit often due to our daughter going to college in that area. We experienced complete blockage of our bathtub drain, blowdryer didn't work, and when I went down to enjoy breakfast I was greeted with a flood of water in the middle of the breakfast room that I had to bring to their attention!!They said it does this whenever they have a heavy rain!! It didn't appear to rain that badly the night before and I know they have some heavy rain quite frequently throughout the year so this must happen all the time!! Yuck!!Overall, not a pleasant experience to want to remember or repeat! Can't believe they are affiliated with the Comfort Inn Chain!
STAFF VERY FRIENDLY & PROFESSIONAL
One elevator working
The lounge and breakfast area was very pretty. I forgot my toothbrush and was able to get one from the front desk. Also a broomto keep the floor clean. My grandchildren loved the pool.
Need a better selection of equipment in the fitness room. The windows in the facility were vey dirty. The staff come much too early in the morning to service the room.
Staff was nice
Elevator was broke, and drunks outside front door being very vulger and disorderly.
I thought tthat the cost of the rooms were a little high and could have been compromised since they are remodeling. Also, The bath tubs appeared to be a bit dirty. I believe the dirt is enbeded and just looks that way. Should advise if pets are permitted.
The 6th floor room was very very nice and updated. Location to I 40 convenient.
The lobby smelled of smoke. The elevator (1 of 2 working) was dirty and smelled of smoke. The 6th floor hallway around the elevator had torn off wall molding, the rooms doorways and elevator door paint was chipped off badly. The hallway needed to be cleaned. The air in the hallway was very stuffy.
Location is nice, staff is helpful.
Looked like they may have not finished remodeling our floor or something.
The room was excellent and the staff was also excellent.th
They are very arrogant. Very poor customer handling.
The whole floor we stayed on smelled sour and old room smelled couldn't open the window for fresh air only one elevator worked only 2 ice machines worked
staff was great, friendly; The complimentary brkfast area was very crowded however Jeffrey and the young lady kept wiping off stables and making sure things were re-stocked!
The room was "aged"; the toilet seemed to come off the wall every time i sat; the toilet was not cleaned under the rim(you could see this while standing in the doorway); the tub "ran"-would not completely turn off; NO HOT WATER in the shower
