The room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Felt very welcomed on arrival and check in was very quick.
Despite getting the room furthest away from the road, we still noticed a lot of car noise which did wake us up very early.
The rooms were nicer than I expected. Spacious and clean. We had absolutely no issues and thought it was a fantastic value. The breakfast was a bit limited, but it was never meant to be anything extravagant.
It was a good location easy to find and the price was good!!!
I didn't like that the elevator stopped working at midnight, there is no way to other side of building without having to go outside and there are NO SMOKING ROOMS we have to go outside to smoke!!!!!!!! Waking up and can't relax to start the day with cigarettes and coffee while sitting in a warm bed watching TV.....can't do that here
Hotel double charged my credit card. I have called them and manager promised to refund, but no refund..... On the phone again trying to get them to refund. Be careful....
It was 8:45 and website said 9:00 was end for breakfast and they had closed the area. No juice or water available and quality of choices was poor. If it says ends at 9:00am, keep it open until then....
The staff was very polite and helpful, when asked about local actives, plus they took the time to give us excellent directions to them. The breakfast area was well stock and clean. The outer grounds were very clean and the parking area was well lit up at night and the parking space well marked.
The only complaint that we had was that there was four of us, we had to call down both days for two more wash clothes
I traveled for both business and pleasure. I really needed to have the WIFI work for my business PC. This did not hppen. What I needed was the Service Provider key code. Not the login password. The manager was less than understanding about it and said no code like that exisits, he said he would have the IT teams call me at 8AM, after I insisted they cll me. However I had a 7:30am meeting so I had to go find another place to work for the day. A extreme inconvenience. Also the phone on the desk did not work. I was there only a short period of time and this place caused me undo stress which I did not need or want. I also had a room on the busy side of the street so the few hours of sleep I got were not quality hours of sleep. Total waste of my money. I would never think of staying here even if it was free.
The king size bed was very comfortable! Room was very clean. Price was WAY higher due to the car show but better than any place we have stayed in Monterey area!
Some guests talking on their phones outside trying to be considerate of their roommates but were actually rude to other guests and we could hear their conversations! Walls were a little thin- could hear the TV in the room next to us.
The room was very small for the price and the location wasn't good either. Would not recommend this hotel. For the price Residence Inn is so much nicer!
The price was good and it was close to down town Salinas. The rooms themselves where somewhat modern.
The area was questionable and the pictures of the rooms and hotel were misleading. I had the impression I would be staying in a nicer area. A lot of street traffic could be easily heard from the room.
We chose this location because we wanted a location near both Pinnacles National Park west side and Monterey. Pretty good value - bed was comfortable, continental breakfast (incl. hot waffles) included.
clean and near town
Expensive Breakfast marginal (no decaf coffee)
Room was clean
Breakfast- only 4 talbles available- u have to wait always after 8:30 am Price- during we and special events the price is extrem high for what they offer
room was large, very clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast had a lot of choices.
Not much in the way of shopping or restaurants nearby
Parking space limited, noise neighborhood
Nicely kept up, perfect location for the Salinas Rodeo, 30-minute drive to Monterey and the aquarium, numerous outlets suitable for charging devices, pleasant complimentary breakfast.
Hair dryer broken, need an additional chair or two, pretty standard motel room design - comfortable but nothing special
Cleanliness Comcast Cable service Breakfast
Cramped room. Sheets had holes/stains.
No flat screen tv
TV would not work, toilet broken dirty sheets on one bed. Would not recommend.
all staff services-location-
Apparently there was a overflowing toilet the night before our stay; they went ahead and left the carpet in front of the bathroom and under the sink soaking wet. The room smelled horribly of wet stinky feet/wet dog. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. After 3 nights there my back is still aching. The television is an old tube that was buzzing and it was so obnoxious, that we couldn't even consider winding down with a little tv.
The staff when we arrived did an excellent job. He was very friendly and helpful. The woman after him, was very friendly as well. We were very happy.
I was not too thrilled about the price. Service was great, until our last day, when I called the front desk for new towels, since we used all the ones the day before, from when we arrived, and he said they would have to charge us. I never ever had any hotel, even Motel 6, charge us for new towels. He didn't even let me finish what I had to say, and said, he would see what he could do, and hung up on me. I was going to give him a piece of my mind when I was checking out, but I didn't as he ended up not charging us. Overall, we were pleased with the breakfast, and stay.
The staff was very friendly.
The wet carpet from being clean. And the small breakfast room.
Friendly, knowledgeable front desk upon arrival. Locked stairwells.
Location. Nice exterior but old interior. No waffle batter.
