Amazing view and the fact that they were dog friendly
Great room, quiet, great view of the bay and a good breakfast. Great location and easy to get to.
Stay was not long enough
The staff was very friendly and courteous. Outstanding hotel I will stay here again.
Nothing everything was excellent.
King bed suite with kitchen facilities. a very comfortable be, good breakfast selection including eggs and sausages. A good restaurant for dinner. i deal for us.
Very clean, great staff, wonderful on-site restaurant with excellent food and service, great location, included breakfast was very good
We requested a first floor for our dog; booking said o'k. When we got there they said 1st filled, gave us 2nd floor. Said they didn't assign the rooms, that booking does. Not a big problem, but your ad says dogs are put on the first floor.
This hotel has a breath taking view of the Atlantic Ocean and you can walk down to the shore. The biggest surprise was the Oceanview Restaurant. The food is excellent and the room is very appealing. Bravo to the Chef on his delightful Maine Lobster dinner! But the most impressive of all are the restaurant staff. We had to wait for a good bit for a table the first night we were there, but Carol,t he hostess, kept us informed when we would be seated (the wait was for a bus load of guests). Carol and Ellie, our waitress, went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful experience there. Most of all,we were taken back by their observations of us as a couple and remarked "how special they felt we were'. That was impressive and made"us feel so special" ! I'd recommend this INN for a great stay and gorgeous ocean view!!
Needed a new shower curtain, but it was end of season.
The location, staff, pet-friendliness, and dollar value was exceptional! We would not hesitate a moment to return to Fireside Inn and to share our good opinion with all family and friends! Truly a refreshing get away!
The pillows were the only room for improvement we could find...a very minor issue. The beds were very comfortable.
Sea View Good choice for breakfast if a bit crowded Comfortable bed
From the front desk staff to the waitress in the restaurant, everything was very good. The beds were very comfortable. The view from our balcony was beautiful and a real plus to our stay. We highly recommend this hotel!
view & restaurant food & entertainment
View, just beautiful view of water! Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had number of different options, something for everyone. Have stayed here 4 times so can't be bad
Can't walk to Belfast. Breakfast all in plastic. Too much waste. Would be so easy to change that
Breakfast is better than usual in price category. Restaurant is average but entertainment when available is great.
The location and services provided are very good.We have been before and hope to visit again soon.
No problems encountered. All staff very helpful, dining room food and service A1.
Quiet, away from the all the crowds, but close enough to the city, and other beach towns including Bar Harbor. Staff was friendly. Nice restaurant with a bonus of live entertainment.
More private patio would have been nice.
Due to a family emergency we had to depart a day earlier then we planned. The manager was very helpful with canceling our reservation.
The staff was very friendly, the view was great. Amy and Charlotte at the front desk during the evening were so helpful on places to visit and tour. Always asked us how our day was and what we saw. We felt like we were family.Manager was very friendly in the am.
The food in the restaurant was not the greatest. I had an blooming onion and you could tell that it was fried in the same oil as fish. you could taste it, but when asked we were told it wasnt. the drink prices were higher than going to other restaurants in the area.
The room was very comfortable, the pool refreshing, and the variety of offerings for breakfast was appreciated.
The ambiance , ocean view , cookies at night nice breakfast, wonderful staff!
The Price! Through Booking .com
I liked the location because it was close to everything.
The room we stayed in had a lovely view, however, the room smelled of body odor. I brought in my car air freshener to disguise the smell. Wasn't sure if the bedspreads were clean as my son found dog hair on one.
Our check-in experience with the lady at front desk was unfriendly and she became rattled when we asked some basis check-in questions. The hotel is dated, needs upgrading and we would not stay there again for the price.
View is great. Good central location
Facilities are just a tad tired
