Score from 174 reviews Very good
The hotel had a lot to offer as far as restaurants and the staff was very welcoming.
The shower leaked all over the floor. The bed while soft only had a thin sheet on it. Our room smelled like chlorine.
The location in front of the arch
Good location, clean etc. but...
The heat didn't work. A hotel can be beautiful but I woke up to freezing cold room and the thermostat had a flashing wrench on it. Not just me not getting a bad interface but the heat was broken....and they still charged me full price.
The location and the hotel itself was great.
We paid $16.95 a person for breakfast and the service was horrible, we were all finished (4 of us total) with our buffet meal before we even received a glass of water let alone our ordered drinks that were included in the price. There was also a mess of a vallet line to get our vehicle when we checked out.
Staff did not clean my room and lied to manager and said I told them not to clean my room. The price I was emailed was totally different from what I actually had to pay. I will never stay at this location again.
Clean and nice facilities. Close to everything downtown .
Staff was not the most helpful or friendly. Cause me some major problems with the transactions to pay the Hyatt. I learned a lesson from that and that is enough to make me go to the Four Seasons or somewhere else next time.
The employees where very nice and very helpfull!
The TV did not work!!
Everything - especially location and all the staff (when aircon wasn't working in room got immediate upgrade and complimentary breakfasts).
Having to check out!
location is good.
Very old house and furniture.
Front desk staff and lounge staff were excellent
We left the hotel at a very busy time when we called for our car to be brought up. We were directed to go into the garage and have our car brought to us down there. There were perhaps 50 people waiting for their cars and we had a 25 minute wait. I understand there are peak times that can be an issue, BUT do not charge me the same $28.00 for a service I was not fully receiving. A discount to the fee would have been appropriate.
friendliness of staff, location: in downtown
Not enough carts to be able to take bags to our room
Sports bar and grill food and service. All staff were excellent.
Taxes were high, but not in their control. Expensive.
Our room had the most beautiful view...#702 at the Arch
Loud in hallway hard to sleep
I didn't like having to pay for parking.
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean.
the hotel is kind of a maze, we had to make a lot of turns to get to our room. It would be easy to get lost. Also I had to get Tylenol while I was there and the price in their gift shop was outrageous!
We had reserved a king room but was only given a queen. they said since we booked from booking.com there was no guarantee with the room we would receive.
Beautiful hotel, very clean. Expensive!!
The one thing I think needs to be changed is how the valet parking works. We checked in around 3:00pm..went to retrieve our car at 4:30pm and it was almost 5:00pm before we got it!! The staff was very apologetic..said it was a "busy time". But I paid $28.00 for this service and waiting that long really put a damper on our plans for that day. If I had known there would be such a delay..I would've self parked!
The Hotel was very nice
The only thing is that booking online we didn't get my husband's military discount that was not an option. We were told when checking in that we could get the military discount but did not happen.
I went there for the baseball game and the stadium is right there within walking distance! The valet parking kept my car safe. Staff was really friendly
$30+ for valet... A little high
Had a great weekend
The staff, the room, the cleanliness, the comfy, high-quality beds & linens. Everything was what I've come to expect from many, many years of staying at Hyatts around the world. Thanks you again for another great experience! :-)
Our room was quite far from the elevator and was a bit circuitous to get to/fro...however, I realize that that Hyatt was in an old renovated building and was unavoidable to put some rooms that far from the elevator. The plus side was that our floor was the first floor of that particular elevator bank, so we had that going for us :-)
The staff was very friendly and the room was amazing !!!
From the time I exited the car I felt welcomed. Great eye contact and directions to my next destination shown by doorman.
Everything was execelent
I upgraded my rooms when I got there and the guy who check me end was to make an adjustment on the upgrade he didn't make a note if it and I was charged the wrong amount, I guest I should have followed up with them but I trust they would get it right lesson learn
