Super 8 by Wyndham Ogden, hotel in Ogden

The George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park is 5 miles from this Utah hotel. Super 8 Ogden serves a daily grab and go breakfast and offers satellite TV.

The room was clean and the microwave, fridge and coffeemaker all worked. The air conditioner worked as well but was a little loud. It is a cost effective property that worked for us. Breakfast was included and was fine. You could cook up waffles, toast. Some fruit and individual containers of yogurt were also available along with coffee.

Courtyard by Marriott Ogden, hotel in Ogden

Courtyard by Marriott Odgen offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and an on-site restaurant. Shopping and dining on historic 25th Avenue is 2 minutes’ walk away.

Nicky (housekeeping) and Kelly (front desk) went above and beyond to ensure my family was comfortable during booking the hotel and followed up with all of us during our stay. They are great at their jobs! The maintenance department was prompt at adding batteries to the pack-n-play sound machine provided by the hotel. (Pack-n-play came with a baby welcome note and small toy). The hotel has a great pool (but cold) and fabulous rooms for a gathering (king suite and double queen suite) There is a restaurant and bar. (But, sadly both were closed all day and evening) It was clean and in a perfect location for downtown holiday lights, activities and restaurants. They think of things and have great added touches.

Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live.

Ogden is an EXTREMELY expensive place to visit or live. There is no other reason for us to visit there other than to visit our son, his wife, and baby. Would not recommend visiting otherwise. WAY too expensive.

The room was dark and could have used repairs.

The room was dark and could have used repairs. The baseboard was coming off near the window. The a/c was blowing fan air only. The breakfast was ok, but the items were not being replenished. The breakfast worker spoke no English. Beds were clean, front desk clerk was pleasant.

    Room very scarcely furnished.

Room very scarcely furnished. Nothing provided for kitchen use such as dishes, silverware, pots, pans, but you could buy them. Ridiculous. Front office almost never staffed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy!!!! Total thumbs down!

    The Ogden area is beautiful.

The Ogden area is beautiful. Wasatch Mountains are different than others and interesting to look at. For us it was easy to get together with family and get to an appointment in Salt Lake City with the closeness to the freeway. Many places to eat, with lots of good food. It was fairly easy for us to get around Ogden since we lived there for 16 years and come back to visit family whenever we can.

This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible.

This particular best western pluse canyon pines in horrible. I would not recommend anyone going there. The hot tub was absolutely filthy, and the staff did not care. The manager on staff, Nicolas ,was very rude, unhelpful and frankly disgusting. The staff is very poorly trained.

The best part about this hotel is the resturant they own next door, the Red Cactus. This is a hidden gem that should get way more attention. The staff is super nice and the food is excellent. They don't open until 5pm, the breakfast is also at the restaurant and it's the standard hotel breakfast. On our return trip we decided to stay there again because we liked the restaurant so much.

We felt very unsafe, we were afraid the whole night that our vehicle would get broken into or stolen, due to the area hotel is located. The room smelled so bad, thank goodness we had our own bedding. Check in was additional charges three different transactions more than booking

Clean and well-designed rooms. The beds are very comfortable and it was comforting to be in such a clean space. A great, warm breakfast is included- especially nice at the moment when so many hotels have reduced to sweet cereal bars only.
