The check in was horrible. Took forever. The room was filthy and the curtains were covered in mould. The overall impression of the hotel was very ratchet.

There was no wifi, pool was shut down, when returning to the hotel the first night it was swarmed with cops. The next day we were out of electricity. The breakfast was not good. In the first room we got in there were no lights. When we went to the second room there was equipment in there we had to move out the room and the carpets were sticky. Worst hotel I have ever been to!
I liked the bed that was there.

I requested a suite and got a room with double beds
April 20, 2015
The room felt so humid and wet. It smelled weird. The refrigerator didn't work. The bed also felt a little damp. It was a double bed, so they could potentially be connected... For that purpose, there was a bar sticking out from underneath the bed that ANYONE could trip over and hurt themselves pretty badly if not careful. Very dangerous. The next morning at around 7am, 2 gentlemen were outside SEVERAL doors down from us talking and smoking cigarettes. The cigarette smell woke me up. I could not believe the air intake and potentially the door letting that kind of potency in our room! You would thought they were in our room! It was insane. As I said, They were a good ways down. Not to mention the walls were paper thin so I heard them as if they were right outside our door. I had decent hopes for this place, the money I paid for this, wasn't worth it.

Felt the rooms were a bit overpriced but the exsperience as a whole was excellent. The front desk help/manager was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast bar is nice. The shuttle to the ferry (to New Orleans) is a plus too. It's clean, comfortable, and quite.

Rooms smelled like a dirty locker room.for 2 days rooms were not made and towels not left in room. Incredibly horrible customer service. Our company spent $4,000 for 6 rooms for 6 nights and there was not one person in our group would ever stay there even if it were for free again. Do not go to this slum ridden hotel!!!

I made my reservatuon 2 weeks in advance for a non-smoking room, I got a smoking room. The comforter smelled of smoke and had cigarette holes in it.
