Good, big beds. Comfortable. Good breakfast. OK price. Very near the entrance to Capitol Reef. Not in town.

Bad signage. Hard to find. Passed it twice because the signs were so small. Had to ask at the visitor center in town where it was. Noisy fridge, too, but solved by turning it off during sleeping hours.

Located just outside Capitol Reef Park, this hotel's large, comfortable room had a spectacular view. Breakfast was included and hot tub and swimming pool available at the nearby hotel owned by the same person. Excellent value for the price!

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. Forty minutes after leaving I realized I had left my kindle in the room. When we called, it was already at the front desk.

    The location is awesome

Room maintenance has deteriorated. Shower curtain was falling off of the wall; the front door security lock had been ripped from the door jamb. The ice machine is in the lobby which is not open for early departures.

Brandon and Tiffany were outstanding employees of Affordable Inns! They are so affable and kind and catered to our every whim. We had trouble with our door lock, and Brandon was there in no time!! Also thanks for allowing our dogs to come. It means a lot to dog owners!!! Most enjoyable stay...will recommend your facility to everyone venturing to Capitol Reef!

It is a basic motel in a very scenic location just outside Capitol Reef National park. It came with free decent breakfast (continental with hard boiled eggs included). There was even a microwave and refrigerator in our room. The view outside the motel is outstanding. We enjoyed sunset and sunrise over the red cliffs. I would stay here again and recommend this place to anyone traveling through here.

When we checked in, they didn't have us in their list. I said we did it through booking.com sometime ago. Then the guy at the reception said he found us on a different list, but not to worry since they weren't full. Makes me wonder what would have happened if they were full.

    Nothing

The suite wasn't really a suite so it was falsely advertised. There was just a small couch in the same room with the bedroom. The whole place was dingy and depressing. We didn't even stay there but went to the Best Western next door which had a real suite for the same price.

Great place to stay. Best deal in Capitol Reef. Going back soon.

The Germans attack the continental breakfast and wiped it out early. They must feel very deprived.

Although we were told it was not the Affordable Inn, the signage still read Howard Johnson. Not a big deal, but a little confusing when we asked directions in town.

It is definitely minimalist for the price which is similar to others in the area. In the continental breakfast everything was small (even the hard boiled eggs). The TV was an old cathode ray tube type and the program selection was a couple of local (Utah) outlets and a bunch of sales pitches. Most telling was the lack of a grab bar for stepping in and out of the tub/shower. Conclusion: not much for the money.

Excellent value for money. The room rate included breakfast, which was quite acceptable.

The motel is quite a distance from Torrey, although it is reasonably close to Capitol Reef National Park. The young staff member had no idea of how I could make an International collect call home, which my bank required me to do. Basic knowledge for someone in hospitality, I would have thought.
