The 3 pillows for a Queen bee were like bricks. My husband had a sore neck the next morning. The bagel he chose for breakfast was moldy.
cleanliness/t v/shower and towels!! All in all a good surprise.
It was clean, reasonably priced and Monty provided a super breakfast.
Room was clean and no visible cosmetic repairs or maintenance needed.
Traffic noise level was high. Stopper in sink was not operable. Heater/air conditioning unit was really loud.
Manager was very helpful, recommended great place to eat, and very pleasant to take with. Breakfast was area was clean and had fresh products.
Bathroom light on a timer.
Manager was friendly.....worked hard to serve a nice breakfast.
My sister and I had adjoining rooms and each of them had a different distinctly unpleasant odor. Since they were each clean, I can only surmise that that carpeting is very dirty and needs to be changed. It took a while to get used to the odor. None of the vending machines worked, and the location itself is a little sketchy. Staff was nice, though, and sleep quality was fine.
The room was comfortable. Lighting was very good. Housekeeping was very good. Breakfast was quite adequate.
Carpet wasn't clean.
Room was nice. Kichen was nice
To close to major road. No insulation on door. Road traffic was too loud. I would never stay there agsin
Helpful travel advice, good location
Location and proximity to Crater Lake , wild safari and services / stores around the town.
Breakfast could have been better, expired breads(they said the bread were frozen so not really expired)
1) The front desk clerk, Monty, was very friendly and informative when we checked in and asked about area eateries and things to do. 2) The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. 3) I was concerned about road noise with the hotel being on a main thoroughfare, but was assured that traffic would die down at night. We slept with the window cracked open as we didn't want to hear the sound of the air conditioner running and we didn't hear any road noise throughout the night. 4) The hotel is in a good location within a few minutes drive to many area eateries and attractions (and only 15 mins. from Wildlife Safari, which is why we were there). 5) Glad it wasn't right next to the freeway as are many other hotels that we were considering staying at.
1) I couldn't get the WiFi to work. Called the front desk and was told they'd reboot and to try again. Didn't work. Later that evening went down to the office to ask again about it. They came up to our room and verified it wasn't working. They called the manager to see what was wrong. About 1/2 later they called and said to try again and then it worked flawlessly for the remainder of our stay. 2) Didn't like that the bathroom sink area didn't have a towel bar or ring to hang a hand towel on. The only towel bar is in the shower/toilet area. I ended up hanging the hand towel in the closet area on the clothes hanger bar. There is room to install a nice little towel ring on the wall right next to the sink (like most bathrooms have) which would be closer and more convenient. 3) Would like to see this hotel prohibit pets. We were in a room next to someone with a whining, whimpering dog until late in the evening, which was very unnerving. I was ready to call the front desk at about 10:00 when it finally stopped. Fortunately they were gone the 2nd night we were there so we had a more peaceful evening.
Good value for money A basic motel, but it's clean, well run. If you are wanting a clean, basic , no frills place. It's great Cable great, WiFi. I would stay again.
It was fine Fan covers any noise. Air conditioning good
Clean, good value.
Best pillows on our trip Good mattress Helpful and friendly manager Great continental breakfast with real plates and cups Handy location Interior a pleasant surprise
In room safe was locked so couldn't use it. You need to call front desk for code but the instructions don't say that.
The staff were very friendly and fun.
My wife and i were passing through and looking fir a place to crash. Can't speak for all the rooms, but ours was huge and included a seperate small kitchen with stove, fridge, and microwave. The room was so large that the 32" flatscreen seemed out of place. Excellent continental breakfast. All for around $80
Monty is awesome...room was upgraded on arrival , room very clean, bed comfortable very pleasant stay .. Will stay there again
No complain s could use more parking
Easy check in. Decent breakfast.
Room was large and clean, staff were friendly, location was good, breakfast was adequate.
Some road noise which can be expected at this price point.
Brand new flat screen TVs with cable/HBO, very clean, additional amenities like fridge/microwave, helpful front desk staff. Updated linens and curtains made it feel fresh, even though the property is older.
Our room was close to busy road, so a bit noisy. Also, older heater/AC was very loud to run so we were either too hot to sleep or had the AC keeping us awake much of the night. Opening window for cool air brought more road noise and it felt unsafe as well, due to the walkway it opened onto.
The office staff was super friendly and helpful. We thought the continental breakfast was excellent with high quality choices.
The furnishings were outdated but otherwise clean and serviceable.
The manager was a friendly and informative gentleman. We enjoyed him.
Very clean comfortable stay. Staff excellent, very helpful.
We loved the happy, comical and welcoming nature of host Monty Montgomery. We have travelled widely and this was a unique experience. He does a great boiled egg for breakfast!!!
