There's a few things to nit-pick, but the worst thing was coming back at 11pm and finding the parking lot over-full. The night attendant let me park in a no-parking area of the lot when I asked if it was safe to park on the street (it's not). The roll-in shower left water all over the floor, luckily it's not the type of flooring to get slippery when wet, but I had to mop it up because the toilet is next to the shower stall and I didn't want to step in water in the middle of the night or in the morning. I didn't hear noise from adjoining rooms, but I could hear everything happening in the parking lot in spite of newer windows (typical of most motels). They've obviously done a lot to upgrade what probably use to be a run-down motel, and they're doing a really good job, but it's still a work in progress.
It's nice to have a fridge and microwave, but that seems standard these days. The TV (Samsung) was enormous for the size of the room. The bed was comfy, and no noise from the freeway. Parking was free. There's a Wendy's/Flyers/Starbucks about half a mile up the road. The room seemed immaculately clean, which I greatly appreciate. I interacted with 3 desk staff, and they were all pleasant, professional, and thorough in their engagement.
