Not a thing!

This hotel is terrible!!!! I wouldn't recommend it to nobody! When we first arrived the lady behind the desk was so dumb that she couldn't find our reservation and was trying to over charge me. Once we got to the room there were roaches crawling around and the room wasn't clean. We asked for another and that one wasn't any better; the headboard was hanging sideways off the bed and there wasn't cable so the kids could watch tv and of course they complained the time we were there. The beds were hard and my husband and I backs were hurting bad! The breakfast room was a joke! They microwaved the eggs and sausage, had stale cereal, hard bagels, and it was just filthy! I would not stay here again!!!!

Location by the highway is especially ugly. The breakfast room is a joke, it is so tinny you cannot even get in.

i specifically ask for non smoking and that was the only thing available, u tried to talk yo the management but I was told they couldn't do anything about it. The other thing I did not like was the fact that the whole area is under construction and at night is simply impossible to get any sleep!

Great location for mi visit to Johnson NASA's Center. Comfortable and well equipped.

The firs day the room was not cleaned throughot the day. The second day the cleaning the room was intended to perform after the 03:00 pm.

The ONLY thing I liked was a pool for the kids.

Room wasnt clean and had a horrible smell. Shower was broken and ran all night causing some sleepless nights.

I enjoyed my stay at The Howard Johnson Clearlake despite some thigns that I found wrong in my stay the overall time there was nice and quite, just what I needed...

I would go back if they change a few things. 1. Make sure that in all of the rooms the air conditioners are running properly, 2. Make sure each room has a telephone in it, 3. when requested ahead of time to have extra towels in the room, they should be there before the occupants get there, 4. the pool needs to be cleaned more frequent especially during the summer time, I could not swim. and 5. there needs to be new bedding applied when hotel staff and occupants can see that there are damages to the linen which is not acceptable. If this was done on my visit I would have not had to change rooms and feel umcomfortable....

The front desk staff was excellent. Close to the airport Small kitchenette was clean.

The room smelled bad. The sheets were dirty. The room at large was dirty. No mattress pads on the beds.

The motel is definitely hard to find, located behind a Mexican Restaurant and a Convenience store. The elevators are located at the very back and our room was on the very front by the rather steep stairs. The non-smoking room had a distinct smell of cigarette smoke.

very disorgnized could not find our reservations and it took them over 2 hours to get us our roll-away the only reason we got it then was because the owner showed up and i spoke with him the girls said they were to busy to get it for me. That caused us to not be able to go to bed till around midnight and we had to get to the meeting at 6am. and our ac broke during the night so after we returned on saturday we needed a new room and it took them till 10 pm to get us in the room. the staff needs more tranning to be able to service the clients better. i can say that anyone in my company or that i know will every stay there again. very nice cleaning staff too bad they dont run the whole show..

Fuer den Preis war das Hotel schon ganz in Ordnung, Man darf auf keinen Fall deutschen Standart erwarten den gibt es in den USA erst ab 250 Dollar die Nacht und selbst da kann man boese Ueberaschungen erleben. Also fuer ein paar Naechte geht das schon mal !

Auf Kritik (fehlende Handtücher, loser Toilettensitz) wurde nicht zeitgerecht reagiert, Mängel auch nach 2 Tagen nicht abgestellt. Das "Frühstück" war dürftig.
