Price reasonable.. Location excellent
Paint brushes left on counter tops. Bed frame was not screwed together. Had to take apart and insert screws and tighten in order for frame to support mattress. Fire sprinklers were still covered by masking tape. Big safety issue.
Cleanliness and poor condition overall. Remodel
In bad shape, the keys did not work and staff had to let us into rooms The structure of the building was not safe.
The bed and pillows were comfortable but there were holes in the carpet, lamp shades, and my bath towel I hsd been given
The so called continental breakfast sucked..people could not get through the line and the eating area was not clean...it smelled and another person brought it up to the attendant
I like the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was very professional, and they did well with what they have. I liked the location, which is conveniently located near the airport which gave to easy access to public transportation. The hotel did offer breakfast, but the kitchen was dirty at all times. Tony the shuttle van driver was very nice.He was the only thing that made the stay worth the while. The AC was great.
The lobby/reception area was very dirty. the lack of cleanliness was seen through out the hotel. The breakfast area was very dirty and what was available was just ok. You are better off walking to the Bob Evan restaurant. The room we had was falling part, the shower was not working right. very outdated can summarize it all.We stayed there for 5 days and they only cleaned the room once. Toiletries and towels where of dollar store quality. The only Ice machine that worked was in the lobby.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and sheets changed every day. The price was really descent also.
I was on the top floor and the internet was not the fastest, but it was alright.
There was mold in the corner of the ceiling of our room. The air conditioner leaked and left the floor wet under neath. Corner of the room at Ceiling was falling in with what looked like mold behind it. Then there was old finger nails behind the night stand.
Mini golf was not opened
Transportation between hotel and airport
it was in a convinient location to the soccer fileds.
There was alot of noise, there were people smoking outside by the pool, with music and alot of loud knocking on doors
Pool was nice and clean room was clean.
No toilet paper in the room when we arrived. Told us to come down and get it when it should have been in the room. Lobby smelled like chemicals and hallway missing floor trim. Elevator inspection sticker expired.
Attentive helpful staff
Room shower handle was broken, tissue box was empty
Location was decent
Just about everything. I usually try to stay positive, but this place is that bad. I even upgraded to one of their "suits". I was very disappointed. Maid service didn't even finish cleaning the room. I will never stay in a Howard Johnson hotel again. I would rather sleep in my car.
Tired property. Lobby was filthy. Elevator had laminate flooring screwed to the walls as bumper guards. Unit door was very sticky to open. We thought it was the key cards. Little supply of towels. On our 2 night stay , we had to go to the lobby for towel supply. Burn hole in the carpet of a non smoking room. Booked a queen size bed, got a double. This place needs work. Price was right for the facility.
The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff seemed friendly and helpful.
Only 1 of the 2 rooms I booked thru booking.com was actually reserved, and under the wrong name. It was also a smoking room, as booking.com did not give me any options to select from. The entire place was rundown, doors didn't operate correctly, and the breakfast was pretty sad.
Some of the staff was friendly
we were there 5 days told them at the desk our refrig. didn't work and was told they would fix it never did there was dog poop everywhere. The laundry room was very dirty. I really don't understand why the health dept. don't shut it down. And when I booked my reservations I put on there we have a disabled son so needed first well they put us on the second floor and the elervator was not working so we had to carry him up and down the stairs
beds were comfortable
pool had a light hanging in it could of casued serious injury or death to my family and others.someone dropped a bag of shampoo or something like that in doorway to front desk and sat there forever someone could of slipped and got seriously injured....just was not a well maintained facilty.....
The night staff was very nice when we checked in it was the management that we had issues with
1. Made reservation a month in advance requested room on 1 st floor for handy cap usability when we arrived I was told they had no king rooms even though that's what I was charged for but supposedly it's no king rooms on first floor so our room was on the 3rd floor per management the king beds are only on the 2nd and 3rd floor 2. The elevator did not work it had supposedly broke down a few days before and no one had come to fix it our stay was on a Friday to Saturday so we had to climb 3 flights of stairs that night and in the morning I've had 4 knee surgeries it was not fun if they had a problem with the elevator in the beginig of the week you would think it would have been fixed by the weekend they tried to make it work but at one point the doors shut and didn't want to open out of fear of getting stuck i had no choice but to climb 3 flights of stairs 3. After climbing 3 flights of stairs it was hot and needed to take nightly medecine went to get ice and a soda from the machine both were not working had to send my husband to search for one finally found pop machine on 2nd floor that worked ice didn't work 3. Everything is under constructing and junk lined the hallway to the exit closest to out room 4. The room itself was ok clean just no trash can 5. The breakfast was fine after requesting it be restocked 6. apon checkout I asked if they were privately owned of franchise ( privately owned) Asked to speak to owners they were not available they do not live in state but they were supposedly in the area but could not be bothered by phone I wast told I could leave a message and would be contacted ASAP it's Sunday still no one has contacted me 7. The management I was able to speak with was dressed like she was lounging not professional at all right down to not even wearing a bra and all she could do was make excuses for everything and blame booking.
Pool was very dirty not well maintained
Pulling up I was hesitant going in based on the view of the building and one of the customers throwing up in front of me on my way to check in and some of the customers standing outside appeared to live there Thought I would give it a chance. They first gave us a room someone was already staying in the. The second room we were told was ready but was not. They were in process of upgrading the third floor, but it was very dim lighting and smell from paint. Pool was out of order. We had to go to the front desk approx. 5 times to reactivate our card keys. WIFI wouldn't work. All of this would have been fine had we just been passing through and wanted a couple hours to sleep, but we were to be there a couple days. We left after the first evening. We will not return.
Near freeway, but not noisy.
TV signal poor. Refrigerator did not cool well. Website for the chain was horrible and kept trying to book me into Cleveland TN instead of OH.
It was near where we needed to be.
It was dirty, under construction, the police were there questioning some of the staff. We should have left and stayed somewhere else. We feel like we had to wash everything that touched anything in that room. Yuck!!!!
The convenience from the airport and readily available front desk clerk.
The broken elevator, the poor drywall patch job in the bathroom, the substance over the peep hole the out dated amenities.
The staff were very pleasant and had a good sense of humour....they needed it to work there!
It was shabby, there was a cigarette burn on the bedcover, the carpet was sticky. The breakfast was atrocious, the coffee was abysmal. I felt the place needed dragging into the 21st century
The receptionist was very nice and helpful I believe her name was Tonya
I had to switch rooms key didn't work ice machine didn't work remote control for TV didn't work lights in bathroom was very dim.
