We did not like anything about the hotel. It was very overpriced for what have been downgraded to a expensive motel. The price for one night is redicolious. I will never come back or will ever recommend this place to anyone Everything about the hotel. It smelled of Cigaretts. People were consistently blasting music till 4 am which made it hard for me to get any sleep. It was over priced for the quality.

Hi-speed internet is the best feature I can site for this hotel. The complimentary breakfast is OK; self-serve waffle maker is very good. The shuttle service is prompt and the front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room carpet is really filthy. It's old and no amount of shampooing or vacuum cleaning will remove the greasy surface (ewww!). I pity the housekeeping since its condition is really hopeless. Better for the management to just take off the carpets and replace them with vinyl tiles for sanitation.

Convenient for JFK airport and they have a free shuttle from 5am Free wifi didn't stretch as far as our room. There was a musty damp smell in our room and a mouldy patch on the wall.

Proximity to the airport and convience of the shuttle service. Room was basic but adequate. Not clear that you needed to call for pick up of the shuttle. Only coffee in the hotel room no tea or juice soft drinks for children. Our flight left very early so we did not get the complimentary breakfast and no alternative was offered, although roomservice was avaialable at an extra cost. Driver of the shuttle demanded a tip, quite rude. Tried to charge for fold up bed which we didn't use.

I was disappointed. The check in desk was not friendly. The rooms were small. The bathroom looked clean until I looked up and saw years of dirt in the light fiture. The bedding cover also appeared to have been stained not sure with what. The parking was very bad also. Just was not a very welcoming place. Just not what I would expect from a Howard Johnson hotel.

I loved everything about Howard Johnson Inn Jamaica jfk Airport: the price, location, free shuttle services, quick and easy access to the city, downtown Brooklyn(Fulton mall), the airport, the Long Island Rail Road, and Jamaica avenue mall. They served free, delicious breakfast in the morning. The hotel was very clean and offered room service. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience there. Everything was convenient. The staff was extremely pleasant and professional. Overall, great experience. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I was satisfied with my stay in the Howard Johnson Inn Jamaica jfk Airport and I know you will as well. I would do it all over again. May the almighty god bless you. Have a blessed day. Thank you. I loved everything about it. Please forgive me for not having anything negative to say about it. Great hotel.

It's proximity to JFK considering that we are catching a connecting flight from Los Angeles to Riyadh via JFK The price as mentioned in the booking.com site is not the price that I actually paid. It was jacked up considerably. I arrived in New York at 5:32 AM on January 12 and needed a room near the airport since I am also leaving on the same day at 8:30 PM. The rate as reserved by booking.com was USD 103.50. I ended up paying USD156++. There were many charges billed by the hotel which I never really got. i.e. roll-up bed etc. I was not able to question it because I was already in a hurry to go back to airport in the afternoon. This hotel really sucks!!!. Must think again before you book and please clear all charges....

Good price compared to other hotels in the city Dirty. Small room. Noisy. When I first arrived, there was no remote for the tv. The smoke detector had been disconnected and removed. The safe could not be locked. There was nowhere to hang clothes. I brought these things to the attention of management and all were fixed.

Closeness to the airport. Affordable and comfortable. Timeliness of services. Friendly and courteous front desk persons who were very patient in giving directions (repeatedly in my case). Breakfast was too dry with few options.

Very close to JFK with an efficient and friendly shuttle transfer. Welcoming staff. Good breakfast arrangements. Comfortable bed and clean linen. Coridoors looked shabby and room 109 had shabby carpet and furniture. Burger King nearby but would not feel safe as a tourist walking to find a better alternative.
