Lift from and to the airport
Poor breakfast Situated in the middle of nowhere
convenient to airport
noisy. no lounge area
The location for transportion is just perfect, conveniently located near a bus stop on the main road. You can travel at any hour.
When I get to circle square, I must call the hotel to inform them that I am there, so the shuttle ride can pick me up. There was a phone at that point, to call, but removed recently, it is difficult now to reach the hotel. Except you beg for a call. Hoping there is a Good Samaritan.
The warm reception of the staff
Location , easy due to hotel transport.
Felt it was untidy, but you get what you pay for, have no qualms about hotel.
Good location & staff very helpful & friendly
Cleanliness and breakfast
low cost for NYC JFK shuttle
below average breakfast unappealing location
It was near airport. Reception and porting staff were very pleasant. Breakfast staff very rude
Rooms terrible looking Beds and PILLOWS very uncomfortable. Woke the next morning to bites all over our legs . No coffee at breakfast and waffle machine not working people complain to the breakfast staff who shrugged her shoulders.
That the bus didn't pick us up, and we make phone calls to the office and they went unanswered
Near to JFK. Green Acres mall is just 2 - 3 km away. Free airport drop. Burger King is just next building which is 24 hours open. WiFi was good. Smoking & Non smoking rooms. Value for money
Equipments in the room
At 2:00am Aug 1,2004 when I arrived at the hotel, the young front desk lady appeared very impatient to answer my questions. She must have had a bad day for that day.
Wi-fi Easy to reach from airport Comfortable bed
Musty smell in ground floor rooms
The hotel is about 10 minute drive from JFK Airport and that is the only reason we were staying as were landing late at night and connecting flight was next day at lunchtime. The room was clean but shower didn't work, we were told someone will look at it but no one turned up and we couldn't be bothered to change our room for those couple of hours.
The cleaners have absolutely NO respect to guests! They were slamming doors, shouting and creating unbelievable noise at 4AM! We will never come back to this hotel and would not recommend to anyone who needs a good night sleep. Rather pay a little more and go to a nice hotel.
The location is excellent for JFK, though Rockaway Boulevard is not the place you'd want to spend longer than an overnight. Bedroom is spacious, with an enormous comfortable bed and a decent bathroom. Staff do everything they can to help.
It's all a bit shabby, with a tiny breakfast room and a scrummage to get hold of a coffee and a bagel. Functional is the word, in its best and worst senses.
Clean, close to JFK, Light Breakfast, good wifi, free parking. Good rates.
The hotel is really close to JFK airport and provides a very goog shuttle service - no problems getting there anf from there.
The hotel was not bad but perhaps it needs some fising soon. It is quite difficult to get e.g. to Manhattan and especially the bus ride to Jamaica station, as recommended in some hotel instructions, is not a good experience. Take a taxi to Jamaica and continue using the light railway, not metro that takes too much time.
Closeness to the airport. Closeness to Tropical Grill where we could buy some African food and dishes.
Room hygiene was poor because more than ones my children and I saw cockroaches in our room. And our room was never properly vacuumed each time the hotel Maids came around because we always went back to a room that wasn't properly cleaned. The wi-fi too was nothing to write home about because we never enjoyed the wifi for 24hours at a stretch. And for goodness sake, those wardrobes are too tiny!
The entire nasty hotel
Nasty smelly creapy
The price vs the competition in the area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The area is very marginal in terms of restaurants available, with the feeling of a dangerous neighborhood. Cars speeding around on all the streets, even the side streets. Police arresting people. Businesses were marginal. Interior of hotel should have been updated 15 years ago. Street noise disturbing. Parking area had the feeling of a break-in at any moment.
Room was good staff good cleanliness excellent wifi service
The bed was comfortable enough for me to sleep, the room was clean relative to the common areas. Hot shower. This is a $35 per night room anywhere in the country. And at that, any other city in the country would be embarssed to have it in its hotel inventory. The truly best thing is that this hotel and its service confirms my desire to avoid travelling through JFK at almost any cost.
The staff, at all levels, do their jobs grudingly. The rudeness of the older driver was striking. The reservation list for the shuttle is meaningless because the shuttle leaves when the driver feels like it. The common areas were mostly dirty, but the hallway leading to my room was discusting.
The location is near JFK airport and the beautiful receptionist
Nothing so far
