Comfortable bed and nice lobby.
The staff were super nice. The room was fine - in New York you can't expect a big room. Was clean etc.
It was listed as 4 stars and in Soho which was misleading. It is a 3 star hotel for people who are looking for a reasonable place to stay in New York. However, I dont think it is a Soho Hotel - it is more Chinatown
very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, staff very helpful. easy access to metro bus for heading up town.
Clean fresh modern a bit fancy breakfast very nice choices
A little difficult to locate
The location is good, there are several subway stations around, just 5-10 minutes walk away, which is very comfortable to go uptown. And the downtown sightseeings are just in walk distance. The hotel is in Chinatown, and Little Italy is like 5 minutes walk so you'll never have problems searching for a place to dine. Room was clean, quiet, neat, not very spaceous - but all of them in the downtown are like this. We enjoyed staying there
It was very cold in the bathroom, although we checked the window frames, they were closed well.
Kind, friendly staff. Very clean and fully equipped room. The perfect hotel for our stay in New York.
The area around the hotel is a bit grubby but full of life and never felt unsafe.
Pro's: - Location. Even though it's located in Chinatown (not soho) it's easily accessible by the subway - The room was clean and comfortable
- Had to come down to the front desk to get better service instead of just calling.
The breakfast was good!!
The shower dont have like a bathtub, went you are showering all the floor of the bathroom get wet and cold.
We high appreciated the room's comfort, good service, wonderful breakfast and staff disposibility!
The absence of a wardrobe
Clean, comfortable, friendly, modern
Hotel was in Chinatown and not Soho (Howard Johnson Soho) Cleaning staff were quite noisy when cleaning other rooms in the morning
The location was excellent for china town and downtown. The layout and decor. Facilities. The receptionist!
not much space in the room to put your case. But a small detail.
Location : easy 15 minute metro ride to basically everywhere. 20 minute walk to Brooklyn bridge Very friendly and helpful staff Room was clean and properly cleaned during our stay.
The neighborhood. Being in the middle of Chinatown, there is always garbage lying around on the streets which have us an uncomfortable feeling passing by The room was pretty small. It didn't matter that much for us as we were only there to sleep, but if you need space to store luggage you won't find it. Their is breakfast but limited choices. It gets you going for the day but don't expect a big buffet.
Location is convenient, staff are nice, room is small but clean and comfortable.
Very friendly staff, breakfast included, the whole hotel was very clean and nice!
The staff were very kind
The room was to small for three adult (803)
Over all it was good value for the price & the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was included & excellent.
The location is very ordinary as it is in Chinatown. The surrounding area is very dirty and smelly.
Very friendly staff, very good breakfast, small rooms but very clean and not noisy. Nearby subway stations for further exploring of Manhattan. A lot to discover in the neighborhood on foot.
Staff and service people were absolutely fantastic. When they called a taxi it was not just a regular City Cab, it was a very clean luxury SUV that they contacted. The location was right by the bus stop and a block from the Subway station. Property was a recent renovation that was well designed and appointed with all the latest conveniences. We could take public transit to the Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial site and Museum. They provided a hot breakfast every morning for their guests. The room prices were much lower than standard Manhattan hotel room prices.
The Breakfast hours were from 6 - 10 AM. If you did not get there by 9:30 AM, in most cases the hot egg dishes were not replenished.
Very friendly and helpful staff, tidy room, great free breakfast in the courtyard to start the day.
For some reason it was a bit noisy with some slamming doors on our floor at odd hours.
It was in NYC
I booked for 5 people and got 4 beds, one of us slept on the floor. Each room was so cramped that couldn't even make enough space on the floor for an adult to sleep on some pillows and linen. We couldn't even put our luggage away having to step around it each time we came into the room. Fine for one person to stay, but no more.
Free WiFi Manager and Daytime Front Desk have great customer service.
Temperature control in the room was horrible, spent the night stuffy and sweaty. Ask for help in regulating the temperature and the Night Auditor said nobody is available at night for that type of request. The bathroom floor was disgusting! It was sticky in some areas and the entire bathroom was grimy. The bedding was questionable, and bed was uncomfortable.
The hotel is very clean and we had a super view of the bridge. The location might not be for everyone - but we happen to love Asian areas and also stumbled across delicious dumplings. Also, it is close to the east village and little Italy- walking distance. The staff is very friendly.
The breakfast- but for the price, we didn't care. Just grab some dumplings.
Room is small, value for price is low.
Everyone at the hotel made us very welcome and the property is very efficiently run. We recommend it to people who need lower priced accommodation and who book with the understanding of the shortcomings of the area.
The location is in the heart of Chinatown and doesn't have any of the sophistication of areas 20 blocks away. Access to the (anyway dreadful ) Subway system is poor. Rooms are remarkably small with no wardrobes.
WiFi work well.
I spent 300$ for a small room in china town. It was really small despite clean. It was impossible modify the temp. of the ac. The breakfast was a disaster, very bad. I think it is too expensive. I will never return here.
