Location is convenient, staff are nice, room is small but clean and comfortable.
Very friendly staff, breakfast included, the whole hotel was very clean and nice!
The staff were very kind
The room was to small for three adult (803)
Over all it was good value for the price & the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was included & excellent.
The location is very ordinary as it is in Chinatown. The surrounding area is very dirty and smelly.
Very friendly staff, very good breakfast, small rooms but very clean and not noisy. Nearby subway stations for further exploring of Manhattan. A lot to discover in the neighborhood on foot.
Staff and service people were absolutely fantastic. When they called a taxi it was not just a regular City Cab, it was a very clean luxury SUV that they contacted. The location was right by the bus stop and a block from the Subway station. Property was a recent renovation that was well designed and appointed with all the latest conveniences. We could take public transit to the Statue of Liberty, 9/11 Memorial site and Museum. They provided a hot breakfast every morning for their guests. The room prices were much lower than standard Manhattan hotel room prices.
The Breakfast hours were from 6 - 10 AM. If you did not get there by 9:30 AM, in most cases the hot egg dishes were not replenished.
Very friendly and helpful staff, tidy room, great free breakfast in the courtyard to start the day.
For some reason it was a bit noisy with some slamming doors on our floor at odd hours.
It was in NYC
I booked for 5 people and got 4 beds, one of us slept on the floor. Each room was so cramped that couldn't even make enough space on the floor for an adult to sleep on some pillows and linen. We couldn't even put our luggage away having to step around it each time we came into the room. Fine for one person to stay, but no more.
Free WiFi Manager and Daytime Front Desk have great customer service.
Temperature control in the room was horrible, spent the night stuffy and sweaty. Ask for help in regulating the temperature and the Night Auditor said nobody is available at night for that type of request. The bathroom floor was disgusting! It was sticky in some areas and the entire bathroom was grimy. The bedding was questionable, and bed was uncomfortable.
The hotel is very clean and we had a super view of the bridge. The location might not be for everyone - but we happen to love Asian areas and also stumbled across delicious dumplings. Also, it is close to the east village and little Italy- walking distance. The staff is very friendly.
The breakfast- but for the price, we didn't care. Just grab some dumplings.
Room is small, value for price is low.
Everyone at the hotel made us very welcome and the property is very efficiently run. We recommend it to people who need lower priced accommodation and who book with the understanding of the shortcomings of the area.
The location is in the heart of Chinatown and doesn't have any of the sophistication of areas 20 blocks away. Access to the (anyway dreadful ) Subway system is poor. Rooms are remarkably small with no wardrobes.
WiFi work well.
I spent 300$ for a small room in china town. It was really small despite clean. It was impossible modify the temp. of the ac. The breakfast was a disaster, very bad. I think it is too expensive. I will never return here.
Comfort and size of bed. View from room. Helpfulness of staff. Breakfast reasonable though only one sausage in container.
Extremely poor wifi in room. Impossible to use. Plastic knives, and paper cups at breakfast table. Dirty tablecloths at breakfast. Expensive, especially the taxes.
Hotel is close to highway and subway station. Friendly and courteous stuff. Good breakfast.
Hotel is located in Chinatown, in my humble opinion this part of Manhattan is not the best place to stay in and look around. Room was pretty small. There were some background noise during the night. General impression of the hotel was that cleanness was not on the highest level.
The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful. That is all you can ask from a hotel, so from this point of view, I was pleased.
The hotel is NOT in SoHo so don't book this thinking it is! It's not. It's not even on the Lower East Side really. It is in Chinatown! If this is a problem for you then don't stay here.
FREE wifi! Staff we're very friendly and helpful bed was way too comfortable great view walking distance to 2 subway stations tourist areas are all easily accessible via the trains short walk north to a hip and happening area Can walk to Brooklyn
Only the area where the hotel is situated was a little less appealing.
Incredible friendly staff!
Great hotel tucked away in china town. The staff, particularly the manager were great and very helpful. You are only 15 mins from Brooklyn bridge and little Italy which is great. Very clean, no disruptions at all. No bar but you don't need that when surrounded by them. I'd stay there again, no problem! Big thanks to the hotel.
No bar or restaurant but like I've mentioned, not an issue at all.
Friendly staff; value for New York
It's a generic modern hotel; on main st in Chinatown
Clean comfortable room, however quite small, with no storage. Good size bathroom. Close to Williamsburg bridge and East River Park for running and walking.
"City view", that was described in our room reservation, did in our case mean a view of a small, boring courtyard, and someones residential terrass. No "city" to be seen whatsoever. Very strange payment situation. Although pre-paying our reservation upon booking several months before, the hotel did reserve the amount once again on our credit card upon our check-in. We also had to correct the new amount, since they took 150 dollars more than we had reserved the room for. Their computer system was very unstable, and resulted in the hotel having reserved two times the amount of the room, outside of our already payed reservation. Fortunately we had the extra money on our account, but if we hadn't, this would have ruined our (anyones) travel budget. This made us very angry and annoyed throughout our stay, since this problem was not solved even as we checked out after five nights. Not until two days after checkout the reserved money was returned. We understand system failure and errors, but most of all, this situation was very badly handled by the hotel. We where not compensated, and got only a lame excuse upon check-out. Be careful and aware and avoid pre-paying this hotel if you can.
The location is definitely more Chinatown than SOHO, but is great if you are looking to spend time in Little Italy.
The rooms were unbelievably tiny. I have never stayed in a room that small. The room stunk of a musky smell, and the value for money was non-existent.
Close to everything in Lower Manhattan. Very modern Friendly helpful staff. Very quiet, ask for high floor and room at back. Free breake in nice area. Asian supermarket nearby, good for fresh fruit. Private car arranged for us for airport transfer. Iced tea and fresh fruit in foyer. Short walk to Manhattan and Brooklyn bridges. And Bowery St. for souvineers.
From the first contact by Timothy Lau before our visit to the time we left we were looked after. Modern, great facilities, lovely staff, great location: Chinatown, Little Italy, new modern bars and restaurants, Metro lines all close by: this is a return to hotel and we recommend to anyone.
At first glance the surroundings of the hotel, which are interstate bus facilities, however they did not impact on us or the hotel.
