The staff who checked us in were friendly. My room was directly over the smokers area for the bar. It was so loud like I was in the middle of a party while trying to sleep. The hallways smelled horrible and it was dirty. I complained about the noise at 1:30am and they offered to move me. I asked for money off and the manager to call, which they did not do. It was awful.

not much We booked a room online with two (2) beds and our order confirmation clearly showed , one room with two (2) beds. After we waited for around 60 minutes at the reception (watching other guests complaining about their rooms: one bed versus two beds) we finally got our room keys. We found our room with only one bed. The lady at the reception told us that we only have the right for one bed and a sofa. After 4 hours of driving and 1 hour of waiting at the lobby, it was very exciting. It took us about another hour, before we found another hotel room close by the HJP. We were told to come back the next day to move into our room with two beds. There was not one word of I'm sorry, just you only have the right of one bed and a sofa, even though our booking confirmation showed us differently. I traveled around the world in the last 20 years never had this kind of issue / excuse.

Close to get onto the express way. The breakfast we ordered in the dinning room was excellent and the person working on Saturday was by her self and did the cooking also did a great job. The grandkids loved the 5th floor except for the pool not being very deep. (Kids ranged from 16 to 5) My daughter on checking in with her family heard the comment from people sitting in the lobby that this was the hotel for hookers. ( the desk person did tell her no.) Also the signs placed about gang colors kind of scared her and she was very protected with her two young daughters. She kept asking me what type of hotel did I pick for them to stay in? Also this was a concern for her 16 year old son. Her room was 131 and both Friday and Saturday night she could hear your staff draging out the garbage cans from the bar out side her window.

The first room was dirty. The second room was better but late at night we found spiders. You were not allowed to take coffee into the community area upstairs to play games or watch tv with friends.

The food was great in the restaurant. Staff was great in the restaurant also. The hair dryer and remote in our room didn't work so we took the remote to the front desk never to see it again, even though the front desk lady said she would have maintence come fix the dryer and thr remote no one ever came. The treatment from the lady at the desk was not nice at all!

The staff was nice. The rooms were gross, the beds were from the 1900's and the tv did not work in the first room. The staff gave us a different room but that room smelt like smoke and death. We did not end up staying there. We have yet to receive our money back. I would suggest spending a few extra dollars and finding a nicer hotel.

The 5th floor recreation room with pool and spa was kinda neat; you could tell it was probably pretty nice when it was new. The pool and especially the spa were clean. It was in serious need of updates. The bedding had an odd odor. No drinks of any kind were allowed in the recreation area, and yet it did not have a working drinking fountain. The sauna and shower by the pool did not work either.

It was dirty, the staff seemed like they could care less, the bed was uncomfortable and the air conditioner did not work. The hallways and the elevator smelled like marijuana. My boyfriend complained about the smell of marijuana and the air conditioning and nothing was done. I called and spoke to the general manager to see about getting some what of a refund and she still has not returned my call. It was definitely not worth the money i paid for it.

They did not charge for the pet fee ($25+tax) when we came in with the dog to register and at the check out time, they asked to pay it at the last moment. It should note the price clearly at the web site. It just said pet fee may apply on the web. Seems ambiguous and minor bait and charge tactic to me.
