    The location was right next to Queens Village LIRR station. The train ride into Manhattan is quite expensive, however.

    The building smelled like a retirement home and cigarette smoke. The breakfast was abysmal.

    I never made the trip. I had a family emergency I called Howard Johnson reservations two weeks prior call me Howard Johnsons reservation center they said I do not have one. I thought every thing was I was ok but booking through a third party you need to call the hotel direct. They charged me for the night anyhow trying to get a refund and they will not do it. I will not stay at Ho jo again , they should make it so commutation are better between Howard Johnson hotels , so they know what is going on .Very dissatisfied

    It was located close to lirr and family house, good parking.

    Cigarette burns in sheets, Blood like stains on sheets, weed and cigarette smell everywhere, room had a damp basement smell, terrible breakfast, ice machine only on first floor, random people from street in lobby all the time, constant errors with reservations leading to being locked out of room, WiFi never worked, showers had no water pressure.

    very easy access location

    staff failed to make the every effort to locate my reservation... took the attitude we do not have a reservation in a strong dumb accent manner.... seems like they were not trained and qualified to be a receptionist.... the trains can be a bit noisy too...

    I liked the location. A lot of great restaurants and stores for shopping.

    The choice of breakfast could of had been a lot better.The pillows were flat, definitely need microwaves in every room.

    The room was nice even though it was a bit small.The staff was very helpful.

    I didn't like the heating system..the room was a bit cold at times..

    It was clean and very budget friendly. I would recommend it to others.

    Its was just a little bit roo far from where I wanted to go, but since it is NYC it wasn't hard finding public transportation to get to where I needed to be.

    Location was awesome! On site parking was amazing!

    Furniture was old TV remote did not work Pillows were flat

    Nothing.

    The staff was very rude. The gentleman at the front desk had us wait 15 mins because our room wasn't ready. That's ok, we weren't in a rush, but then when we go to the room, housekeeping was just leaving. As he walked by he decided to let us know that our room was perfectly cleaned and looked over. This was a joke, because there was empty bottles on the floor, and the bathroom didn't look clean. Overall, horrible!

    Nothing except one of the staff was very nice.

    Location, stench, noise, old cold pastries for breakfast. It was not near regular subway but the MTA and it cost much more to get to the city on that rail system. Run for the hills!!!!
