The staff was friendly and helpful.
The carpet needs cleaning
the king size bed, furnitures
the staff at the reception speak a very little English
Fridge, bed, TV.
Beds were a little rickety.
The beds were comfortable room was clean however the bathroom had paint stains
The customer service at the check in and the breakfast was baf
Bait and switch--3 bed room originally booked not available, gave 2 separate NON-adjoining rooms instead (not cool with 3 kids.) Gave us master key to open, rather than a card (said it wasn't working correctly), and one of the door locks wouldn't work properly--had to call front desk to help us lock EACH time we went out. Dirty. Loud. Didn't feel safe.
Charged too much for meager accomadation, poor service. Continental breakfast? Yeah no.
It was clean and renovated. Easy parking.
First day we arrived they messed up with the swipe cards (they didn't work and ended up giving us a normal set of keys which in the end didn't let the cleaning people clean the room after as they gave us their only key and as we were away they didn't have a key to open the door and clean the room). We came back at 530 pm and our rooms were still not done. Also, one lady was not nice at all over at the counter (a little more friendliness and charisma would help); no flexibility, no eagerness to help or improve our stay. Finally, the fire alarm start beeping loud throughout the night and it turned out to be a low battery.
The hotel room was nice, lots of towels for my family. The staff was friendly. I was able to check in an hour early with no issues at all. It was very easy and quick. I would definitely stay again.
I didn't like that there was construction going on behind the hotel so early in the morning.
When I arrived with a group of friends the front desk demanded that we pay $15 extra a night due to us "only booking for three" when I had booked for four people. When we told the front desk that we would take our business elsewhere for this inconvenience he told us that there would only be a hold placed on our card and that we would not have to pay a fee, only to turn around and call the manager (who not only wasn't on duty but was also nowhere on the premise) and told us we would have to pay full price for the room. The staff was incompetent of there own policies and caused us a great deal of stress by telling us we wouldn't have a fee to paying one. I would not recommend trying to discuss anything with them as they found it appropriate to talk over us during the entire conversation. This experience caused a lot of unnecessary drama in a trip that was supposed to be full of relaxation, and the vibe and look of the hotel was extremely uncomfortable and matched with unpleasant and rude staff. I do not recommend this location at all!
The internet speed was actually fast, the bed was really comfortable, the room and facilities were updated. Was shocked about the property in general. It was a pleasant stay. The coffee was exceptional! Surprising!
Being a few minutes out of the gate late on check out they kept calling to remind me to check out. That was annoying, especially since i told them i was going to be out at a specific time. And the pastries were stale.
The price was ok and the location has a lot of stores near by.
Stopped making coffee very early, juice machine was non functional, pool was closed, shower tub paint was pealing off and to much noise between rooms. You can hear everything.
Very friendly and helpful Indian guy at reception. Answered all questions and checked us in fast. Good, clean room, comfortable bed. Pastries for breakfast.
Rooms were very nice and comforting. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Clean and comfortable.
Not the best part of town. Kind of seedy.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the manager in duty. He informed us extended about things to do in San Diego. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed was also good. Quiet surrounding. We booked a day extra. This all for a fair price.
The breakfast was very simple, but included in the price.
good value for money, bedsheets and toilets were clean.
we had requested for an additional bed, was ignored. was finally organised, room was too cramped with the extra bed. breakfast area had only 2 tables and 4 chairs near the reception. due to this, breakfast stuff had to be moved tot he room, was not uncomfortable.
Outside lights were not on at 5:30pm, drove past twice then couldn't see room numbers from car. Required $50 deposit at check-in, had to inspect room before refunding at check-out. No info about breakfast at check-in or in room.
the room was ok for the price
the condition of the hotel looks its age, parking lot full of cracks and pot hole. there was a set of old couches on the far side of the parking lot which made me wonder "what I have I done?" I was uncomfortable staying there, the area was questionable and to add salt to the wound, my door was left open all day by the cleaning staff, all the lights were on including the fan in the bathroom. By luck nothing was stolen. I will never consider staying there again....
This was the worst Hotel I've ever been. with the worst receptionist. I had booked a room for 3. confirmed by bookings, when i arrived in the room they had put a mattress in the floor because they told us they couldnt put a extra bed in the room because of the space and they couldnt give us another room. I would never recomend this hotel to anyone, they attendents was not propared to help anyone. i hated everything about this hotel
The Staff was very friendly and helpful explained features and amenities at the hotel well.
The original booking was quite confusing when at hotel. I had to call the hotel several times to get an overcharge reversed.Perhaps there should be additional training given to employees that handle reservations.
Rooms newly renovated and very good. All now non smoking
Outside of the building needs renovating. Apart from taxes extra. They charge $1.70 a night extra for room safe. Ours did not work. Still charged. After a bit of complaining they refunded it. No mention of this extra when booking
I observed few employees of the hotel very responsive to my problems as tourist.Few were extraordinarily helpful in giving the routes of tourist places.
Few kitchen utensils must be added as the microwave is already there. Few desktops also need to be provided as wi fi is free.
Clean and comfortible. Good price and comfort level.
No Internet for 7 days - they just lie that there is WiFi, no iron for entire hotel, problems with keys every day (due to stupid receptionists), breakfast is just a cold milk with cheapest cornflakes at the dirty reception. Very far! From the trolley station sdsu it takes 30 min by foot to reach the hotel and from sdsu about 50 min by trolley to reach the downtown. Bus stop is near the hotel, but there are 2 buses in one hour and they doesn`t follow the schedule.
