It was located half a block from everywhere I needed to be. The room itself was very cute and neatly organized. Loved the 15th floor sky bar -- great views.
It was too dark and garish in the public spaces. Maybe it was trying to look like a club but I want calm in my hotel, not neon green lighting on the escalator. And the incessant pop music in the elevators and lobby was exhausting and noisy.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lovely bar areas Ideal for all sorts of travel: solo/couples/girls weekend away Amazing value for money
Did not mind about the size of the room as wasn't spending much time in NYC - but something to bare in mind if space if an issue for you... if coming for 3-4days I think this hotel is ideal especially for the price.
No real glasses in the room. The floor in the bathroom was not angled enough so all the water made a massive puddle in the middle.
To Expensive for such a tiny room.
Decent location but that's about it
Paid for what was supposed to be biggest room before the suite but this was likely the smallest (and rather tired at that) room we can remember staying in. Apparently New York is generally like this we've been told? Bars are nice but way overpriced so no surprise to see lots of people sitting around without a drink and one table with their MacDonalds that they'd brought in with them! One way of beating the system I guess
Everything, except the small size of the room. But I can't complain on this since I opted for the lowest priced. I wouldn't pay extra for a larger room, when intention is not to spend time in the hotel room.
Everything...reception, bars, rooftop, all the outdoor areas and designs are incredible. Rooms are cool but no luxurious. Cool for youngsters. Loved how busy it is all the time.
Wouldn't recommend if one looking for relaxation.
Location is fantastic Bar atmosphere excellent Beds really comfy Rooms were spacious Service was good
Noisy from road traffic Couldnt sleep with air conditioning on - as too noisy Bathrooms dated Bar drinks prices far too expensive.
very quick check-in, good rates, clean, comfy bed, great bar!
Tiny room and bathroom, has gone down hill with the clientele
Loved the staff and lobby
The room was very small
Great location, close to Central Park and Columbus Circle
Pretty small room
Lobby was nice -
Small sized rooms & slower than slow elevator
No variety in terms of drinks
I have stayed at the Hudson previously and again twice this visit. The check in staff were excellent & we got an upgraded room on our return visit. Yes the rooms can be smallish but the lobby and bar & terrace areas are large, relaxing & good for watching the world go by with music, a drink & casual bite to eat. The roof terrace on the 15th floor has a wonderful view of the midtown city skyline.
The staff was very helpful, they have a tewuila park with a taco truck starting at 5!! All the food and drinks were amazing.
The facilities and location.
The prices are excesive high. The staff of the bars could be more polite.
Centrally located. It has a lovely outdoor bar area and sky terrace. The bar food was lovely.
It is extremely noisy. If you are a light sleeper do not stay at the Hudson. The air conditioner for the rooms is located on your bed head, so that in itself is very noisy. You can here anyone in the corridors from your room, even the lifts are terribly noisy.
I loved the hotel localization, which was middle of the Manhattan very close to the Central Park. Friendly and helpful stuff. The hotel and room decor was modern and beautiful.
A bit noisy air conditioning.
It was the smallest hotel room that I have ever stayed in
Excellent location and buzzy atmosphere but noisy during the night with lots of sirens and ambulances because if close proximity to a hospital plus - you are right in the heart of New York Cuty so what do you expect! The terrace bar is a sensational space.
There was a lot of maruana smoking going on!
Clean Comfortable Stylish Good value (for NY)
Lobby could do with some more lights
Location bars a communal areas. Rooms are very very small but decoration is very nice. Rooms do need some maintenance.
Room slightly too small bathroom really small. Tap in bathroom coming off the wall maintenance is needed
A/C kept breaking down. Room very small. Shower not private.
