I loved the rooftop bar view. We loved our room, the decor, the bed and the quiet. Also the availability of snacks and liquor. The restaraunt was wonderful. Loved salad with breakfast.
I didn't like the plastic toilet seat. It was flimsy and wiggled.
location cleaning of the room the staff
there is no elevetair for service so the are moments you cann't chach tke elevaitair and the doors of the stairs are close.
The bed was comfortable and clean. Soho is a lovely area to stay in. Walking distance to nice restaurants, little Italy, China Town, Shopping, Brooklyn Bridge, Financial District, West Village, Highline Walk and Battery Park. The rooftop bar has a lovely view, although it would be nice to be 24hrs so that guests can go up in the morning and watch the sunrise or have coffee up there during the day. We were told it would be open until midnight every night, however it was closed at 10pm one night when we went up, and two other nights it was closed for private functions. The noise was quite loud and we could hear music until very late in our room on the 14th floor.
"King" room and bathroom were TINY! only just enough space for two suitcases beside the bed. Our first room (11th floor) facing the river had no view, as it was blocked by the big UPS warehouse across the street. We asked to be moved upstairs after a few days and were offered a smaller room on the 17th floor. It had a great view over the Hudson, but was a LOT smaller, with room for only one suitcase by the door and no room either side of the bed, so we didn't take it. We ended up moving to a room on the 14th floor which had an alright view. It was partially blocked, but at least we could see something nicer than a warehouse! The girl who let us move rooms was very nice about it (it seemed like this is probably a frequent request). There is no service lift for staff. We were constantly having to wait for cleaners and staff to get in and out on just about every floor with all their equipment. It's a real hassle as it wastes time and often the staff were not overly friendly. On two occasions the lift arrived on our floor and the door opened and the cleaner was standing with her trolley blocking the door so we couldn't get in even though there was plenty of space beside her. We had to awkwardly squeeze past her to get in and she didn't apologise or say anything, she just seemed annoyed with us. The gym was very small, although I would recommend running south along to Hudson anyway. There's a nice path away from the road. The wifi was erratic. Sometimes it was fine, other times very slow. It would have been nice to have a shower cap provided as well as the basic shampoo and block of soap. The opening hours of the roof top bar. We stayed for a week and the roof was closed at 10pm one night and had private parties two other nights so we didn't actually get to enjoy it at all. The stench of cigarette smoke. People seem to smoke in the stairwells. We reported this to reception, but the smell was very strong around our room.
Staff absolutely fantastic
Loved mostly everything!!!!
The restaurant needs some help, more experience. Beds need comfy hotel pads.
Location was fab
Felt like it was suped up "travel lodge"
Friendly staff, pretty room, albeit in "no man's land" close enough to SoHo, West Village and TriBeCa.
Although it was freezing outside the hotel was piping hot inside, I couldn't get the temperature in my room down. Really exhausting and you are thirsty all the time, they desperately need to fix this.
Roof top bar
Small bedroom Bad shower Noise a/c
The hotel was very well decorated and clean. The staff were very professional welcoming and helpful.Especially Jose the doorman. Concierge was very helpful too. Free internet was excellent. Coffe machine and complementary tea and coffe in the room was pleasant. Rooftop bar was very elegant and had wonderful view.We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
Nothing.Maybe just the shower. İmpossible to get in without getting wet by cold water.
Thea location is really good
My room was confortabile but really small , no space to empty the luggage
Nice new hotel located in Soho. Room are small but nicely organized with everything you need (air dryer, iron, ironin board, Smartphone station etc.). Staff very friendly and helpful
View on the UPS warehouse.
Closeness to grest restaurantd
Room was a little small
The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the double room was pretty sizable for a NYC hotel. The bathroom was nice, the shower was wonderful. We slept very well on the beds, they were quite comfortable. The neighborhood is close to tons of great sites and eateries and is pleasantly peaceful.
The rooftop bar had every table but one reserved, but no one was there. The drinks are $17 minimum and the atmosphere was rather stuffy. My suggestion for improvement is to please take away all of the excess booze and junk food that clutters nearly every open surface and in the mini-fridge and allow guests to use the fridge for their own (more reasonably priced and healthy) drinks and snacks.
This hotel had what you'd expect of a four star hotel. The rooms were very nice and well stocked. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The view from the roof top bar is gorgeous.
The rooms are just too small. The rooms are barely bigger than their king sized beds. The bathrooms, while nicely appointed, were tiny. The dresser was nice quality with tiny drawers that didn't hold much.
Location New and pleasant decor In-room WIFI
Room is on the small size Shower sometimes only lukewarm (but did get fixed)
Location, great service, great views from rooftop bar
Rooms on small side, but probably typical for a New York City hotel. Room was functional, however.
Very nice boutique hotel near Soho.
The location is a few blocks away from where the heart of Soho is. Right across from a huge, ugly UPS warehouse.
Everything was absolutely fantastic : great hotel, great facility, very friendly people, nice rooftop bar : loved it!
AC is somewhat noisy, but you can get used to it.
This new hotel in a quiet area of Soho is highly recommendable. The hotel staff is super friendly, next to the quality of the rooms. Good bathroom accomodation and exellent bed quality.
hotel design good service
restaurant needs to improve the service
Loved the rooftop bar (when it wasn't crowded).
The heat/air con controls in the room did not seem very intuitive. A separate set of instructions in the guest book would be helpful.
the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar has wonderful views and Is a nice place for a nightcap. Wonderful bed. Our room was on the 14 th floor and very quite. The hotel restaurant was good and accommodated our large party for dinner late one evening.
Position of showerhead makes it impossible to turn on without getting wet. No shower cap in bathroom so pack one. The few drawers in the room are quite small so things that weren't hung in the closet had to stay in the suitcase.
