Hotel is in a good location and walkable to beach, restaurants, shopping and the pier. But hotel was run down and needs a major update & upgrade. Front desk was not responsive to report of noisy guests next to us.

Compared to the rest of Southern California, it was pleasant. I noticed the cleanliness, no graffiti, and the traffic flowed well. There was adequate choices of shopping and restaurants. Nice and pleasant over all. It wasn't infested with gangs like the rest of the state is. OOPS, I forgot, that is who runs that state!

The receptionist was friendly and efficient, it’s in a good prime position but Needs serious work to make it decent ( clean and in good repair)
Very dated and dirty - pool was closed by authorities only a week ago because of this
Sofa in the room was disgustingly dirty and the carpet was filthy
The hairdryer did work it only if you held a button in the whole time ( almost impossible to use) my husband had to press in the button while I dried my hair !
2 nights here was way too long
Being charged $30 to park was poor too and of our 6 week trip this is the only place we paid to park in the grounds

I can't stop bragging about the location of this property.
I can't stop bragging about the location of this property. It was within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Since the dog beach is only about 1.5 miles away the dogs had a great time meeting new friends. The price was reasonable and I would absolutely stay again and again and again!! Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

The thing about Huntington Beach is if you come on a Monday, it’s not as crowded as the weekend. On Tuesdays nights, they have a little festival for the locals with crafts paintings really amazing food and multiple entertainers an old classic rock band with too many more features to acknowledge, this is on Main Street I came to go surf the pier and it was the best. I also went to Costa Mesa to see the Chargers football training camp which is only 10 minutes away. Definitely recommend Huntington Beach everybody’s really nice.

Location Location Location. Directly across from Huntington Beach and the pier. The couple working were very nice. The deck overlooking the beach had spectacular views. The hotel offers complimentary chairs beach towels and umbrella to take down to the beach. Unfortunately our umbrella was broken. They also have boogy boards, volleyball and buckets for the kids to build sand castles. Having a 7-Eleven right next door was super convenient. CVS is a block away which was also super convenient.
Location, amenities such as free drinks and snacks, incredibly friendly staff, efficiency, extremely high standards of cleanliness, very good restaurant, excellent space management on a small property: roomy but without sprawl, 2nd floor lobby provides some security from ground-level intrusions but is still accessible and manageable, excellent views of beach, pier, and street life.
This hotel is not only beautiful but offers some amazing amenities. We stayed here recently to celebrate my daughters 13th birthday and did the bonfire on the beach and it exceeded my expectations!!! The overall customer service at this hotel is beyond phenomenal!!
Staying at this hotel was the best experience and worth every penny!!
The hotel is beautiful. Lovely quirky art and neon lights. Courtyard is fantastic. The make your own s’mores were great as were the happy hour drinks and coffee in the morning. Bed was really comfy. Bathroom and bedroom were huge. Loved the balcony and the record player
Though the breakfast is pre-packed stuff, they offer varieties to choose, which is nice. It's convenient to get what needed from the Mother's Supermarket. It's easy to get any beach by driving along the Pacific Coast Highway, just in front of the hotel.
Excellent location! Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Located between Huntington Beach and Long Beach. Pancake breakfast in the morning was nice to take back to the room to enjoy the ocean view from our balcony. The room was clean.
I used to live near this hotelabout 4 blocks away, I enjoyed being in the old neighbourhood. could easily walk to Main street which has a wide variety of resutrants bars and shopping. short walk to pier. some good tacos on 11th.
The property was excellent. Well equipped kitchen, beds and bedding, bathrooms, pool/ hot tub and even a selection of board games for the family to enjoy. Great spot to enjoy Huntington beach, easy access to Disney.
Location was perfect for us, we love the Seal Beach area and also go shopping in Cost Mesa/Huntington Beach area. Room was very clean and staff was friendly .
