Upon arrival, the staff were extremely welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. Location of the hotel is close to many restaurants, bars, and shopping. We also visited the spa during our stay. We walked away stress-free and very relaxed. We will definitely be back to this hotel and spa.
The rooms were spacious, clean and designed well. Loved the energy efficient model. The bathroom was awesome - bathtub ideal for incredible baths. Free WiFi. First class amenities - spa, pool, fitness center, etc. Staff was extremely friendly and with great recommendations. In-room dining was convenient and restaurant selections was delicious. I would definitely come back.
I cannot think of anything I did not like.
Linens, pillows, towels, robes are all comfortable. Always a sufficient number of staff at front desk to assist you. Room décor, temperature and amenities are wonderful.
$45 per night for parking on site is excessive. Self park for $30 per night was on the next block and is just public parking. Didn't appear to have computers available for guest use. The guide said "front desk staff would be happy to help you with faxing and printing needs". $1 charge per local call seems wrong in this day and age.
A hotel needs to provide a comfortable bed, a quiet room and good facilities. The Olive * was tops in all the categories, the pool is clean, nice and covered and the bed was very comfortable. A very nice option for downtown Seattle
Walls a bit thin.
Very nice hotel, didn't get a chance to try out the restaurant or much of the amenities but the staff and rooms were great.
I booked fairly late on a game day so prices were quite high. I also payed $46 for Valet parking and they parked it 20 feet away for the night :(
Staff was soooo nice and helpful. Wine and cheese sent to our rooms to celebrate 80th birthday! The Urbane happy hour was great. We hope to be back.
Nothing to not like ....
The rooms were not cramped and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything worked right and they included everything for free (to an extent). forgot my razor and shaving cream at home and they supplied both for free. Great staff and great stay!
The road noise may be a problem for people at lower levels but that's for all Seattle hotels. I didn't notice it on the 14th floor.
Amazing location..awesome room...friendly staff and free wifi!
Location is good, 10-15 minutes walk to the malls, pike place market, and the space needle.
Stain on the blanket, and TERRIBLE SOUNDPROOFING.
Room had good space and was very comfortable.
Bathroom door is translucent.
everything, very friendly staff
the lobby entrance could use a little spiffing up, specifically the lobby entrance between the two sets of sliding glass doors.
There is no business center. There is one computer but in a very puplic space and thus not practical for business use.
No free WiFi!!!
My husband and I brought our son to Seattle for his ninth birthday. We wanted to take in a Sounders game, do the underground tour, and stay in a hotel that was easily accessible. Olive 8 had a great location--was quite easy to walk to everything we wanted to see. I would recommend using the ground transportation (under Nordstrom) if you are planning on going to see a game since walking that distance can be a little challenging. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the amenities with the pool were great. The highlight however was the staff service! Front desk attendant Britney was very attentive to our son's special day. She sent up cookies and milk for him before bed, along with a handwritten birthday card signed from her! It was the perfect ending to his very special day!
The cleanliness of the countertops and carpet could use a little TLC.
The staff was excellent, it didx´t matter it was 5:00 am in the morning they were nice and helpful.
It took around 35 minutes to bring us some breakfast, we were in a hurry and it took forever, but the waiter was really nice and apologize for the delay.
Fabulous pool; fruit in lobby; great location; wonderful bathrooms.
I like the place coz is closed to the convention that we attend.
I dont like it coz my girls dont havw a chance to play in a bathtub before they go to bed coz they dont have one.
Everything! Great staff, nice stay. Early check-in and late check-out were arranged, no problem, to accommodate my flight-time schedules. Totally awesome!

I love how the staff are bery helpful and courteous. Awesome service at the concierge and check in counter. We like how clean the pool was even we went there late at night, the shower room was clean and has everything that you need from towels, hair dryer and etc. The room is perfect for a couple :)

The hotel is under reforms and nobody says or advice that on the booking ad. Not to tell the party on the bedroom next door that went all night long even calling 2 times to the front desk
