Score from 261 reviews Very good
The location so near major attractions .
Good food. Location!
Pool was very small and unattractive.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good.
No real hotel bar, only Knuckles, a sports bar. No atmosphere. Elevator from lobby level was out of order the entire time of our visit. Heavy bags had to be lifted up stairs to get to lobby. At "peak" times, there was a line of people for the elevator. There were no stairs available (emergency only). Hotel as a whole looks in need of upgrade.
some staffs rudeness
$50 overnight parking
I got update an upgrade to the room with best view.
No complimentary breakfast
Awesome facility, terrific staff, spotlessly clean. Our second trip to this location, it was even better than the first trip.
Noisy room Bathroom, stereo and other items in poor repair Poor bell, valet service Forced to use cumbersome automated room service via TV Room service breakfast not received correct
Location was great.
Bathroom was not clean- room not very appealing.
Location is fine, very close to Pier 39, but quiet street! Girl at coffee bar was very friendly! And they have nice food, fruit and beverages. Room and bed are comfortable and big enough.
Small restaurant, too busy, went to the street. No cable internet! Only wifi..was very slow. Woman at front desk didn't have a good mood..
The location is perfect, close to all day-trips. Very convenient!
Our rooms were on the street side, you could hear every single car passing by. Fortunately, there is almost no traffic at night. For Hyatt standards, the noise-isolation is very poor!
Good bed, TV, coffee facilities
Street noise in middle of night (emptying bins , street cleaners). Corridor carpets not vacuumed. Cheap window covers. No fridge.
location, cleanliness, friendly staff
food, elevators, room furniture
Large rooms. If you want to stay by Fisherman's Wharf, good location. I personally prefer downtown area.
Due to a convention in town, rate was high ($299). But that's San Francisco.
- location - rooms were clean
Staff very helpful. Concierge gave us a great restaurant recommendation and helped us decide on transportation back to the airport. Excellent location! Beds were very comfortable. The hot chocolate on a chilly evening was a nice touch.
Room smelled awful! Window filthy. Furniture sticky and tacky.
Location is just 5 minutes from Fishermen's Wharf, Taylor/Bay cable car turnaround, plenty of cafes, starbucks, walgreens and many other options nearby. The bed is very comfortable.
Unlike Hyatt's I have stayed in Asia, I think this may be the case with most hotels in usa. Having status as a gp member did not really provide any extra privileges. Lack of concierge help, this property does not seem like a Hyatt, very disappointing. I chose it because of the pool and my Hyatt status. There was a water dripping noise in my bathroom, sound proofing was inadequate from street and also room exterior corridor. There are many more hotels on this street, Holiday Inn Express is right opposite, Holiday Inn, Marriott is around the corner, so if there are cheaper options nearby, I would suggest that as this was not worth paying for.
Location and service
Pricy...no free wifi..even had to pay for bottle of water...rooms need updating...bathroom tub tiles looked moldy surrounding tub...furniture dinged and old...certainly not what we expected from a Hyatt hotel ...totally disappointed.
Good location, quiet
Problems checking in, we had booked a king size bed but were given a room with 2 double beds, we had to argue with staff to get transferred to king room, rooms need to be updated they are looking run down
Location was excellent - sports bar good too
No free wifi in the rooms
the location was excellent. The rooms were clean. Staff were polite and helpful.
I thought for what we got it was a little expensive.
We liked the proximity to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39.
$52 for parking when you are already paying over $300 for a room is a bit steep. Our room was not ready when it was promised so we had to leave our luggage with the bell captain. When we arrived back at the hotel, it took close to an hour to get our luggage and then one of our suitcases was missing. The bellman definitely retrieved it fairly quickly.
Very expensive (due to its central location?) bathroom could be cleaner
