Closeness to Airport, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the restaurant serves good menu
Rooms are not insulated to noise from corridors, quite a number of noisy guests passing through the corridors. You have to pay for drinking water in the rooms
We liked the location and its close proximity to the water taxi. We took advantage of that to have a great meal in the North End. The property was inviting. The room on the harbor side offered a great view of the city. We enjoyed that!
Well, the bed was not as comfortable as we would have liked. Both of us had difficulties getting comfortable. The WiFi did not offer a signal we could work with (one bar at best). So, we couldn't take care of a few little jobs we would have liked to accomplish during our stay. Service in the lounge area was not as responsive as we expected for a Hyatt. Finally, the parking fee was terrible!
Unbeatable view of the Boston skyline, in comfortable quarters.
Bar staff not as attentive as might be expected (may have been shift change?).
Staff wonderful, friendly and accomodating. Room layout and decor inviting, bed comfortable. Amenities good.
Room service meal was terrible - steak overcooked, polenta tasted like old fish. Not to mention lukewarm.
Everything about the hotel and the service was OUTSTANDING!!!!!
Proximity to downtown, ease of access to water transport.
Paying commercial rates for parking.
Convenient stop after a long flight . beautiful views across the water towards Boston.
Great hotel, easy shuttle, amaZing view of skyline
Room service and housecleaning was very loud in the morning
First of all, Mr. Louie Tango from front desk was very helpful. We specially thank him for everything. Room was great, view was beyond great! Hotel location is perfect (just near the airport bu silent).Room service is fast & staff was good.
No breakfast & poor wi-fi.
The view of the city and airport was amazing. The water taxi was very fun and the staff was informative.
The bedding needs to be updated. Very uncomfortable. The noise was very loud from the hallway.
Incredible views, had concerns being located literally at the end of the runway, but I could barely hear the jets (two sets of earplugs were provided so it might just be me).
I don't like the nickel and dime game. They don't need to charge $9.00 for internet, or $5.00 for a bottle of Aquafina. I'm sure it generates revenue, but it doesn't make me feel very welcome or valued. But then maybe I'm just sensitive...
In room 1205.... housekeeping very loud while was trying to sleep. Was early and a lot of banging things in the adjacent room. Had to get up and go out toask them to be quiet. Normally no issues here but noise preempted sleep. Was there for only few hours as I had a very late check in due to late flight.
Clean and harbor view.
Parking, food, location/transportation.
The parking is way too expensive.
Harbor view room @4F has beutiful night view of Boston town. Clean room, bed with fine air conditioninig. Quick and friendly shuttle bus service. Wifi connection was finally free, although I used more than one hour.
No mini bar nor drink vending machine in my room/floor. Only one restaurant with not so much range of foods. There is no direct phone at the arrival floor of the airport (ask information desk).
- Cleanness of rooms - Shuttle Service - Quick and Responsive drivers - Free Ear Plugs in the room! - Very good staff -Overall happy with the hotel
When I booked the hotel it was advertised as Hyatt Harbor. I only realized that it is an Airport hotel when I got there. I guess it's better if they really call it Hyatt Airport. - Expensive internet - Standard 200mb download limit - Premium unlimited - Only one bar - 5$ for a bottle of water in the room is high - A complimentary bottle of water for that rate should have been in place
Harborview Grille New England Clam Chowder 2014 winner in Boston
No onsite store
nothing, but if wifi was a charge, that's not what most hotels offer
Very helpful and pleasant staff - found us a different room and at once agreed to a discount when I explained what had happened - see opposite
The first room we were offered smelt most unpleasantly (agree by porter) the alternative offered was a room adapted for disabled visitors so, while acceptable, not what we had paid for in advance.
Stayed here because of the location - love the view of the Boston skyline.
I have stayed there twice 14 years ago. Now the hotel seemed to be run down and not up to the Hyatt standard that I once knew. Rooms and bathrooms are old - corners on tissue boxes are bumped and look used, not much has been invested lately. The menu in the bar/restaurant is very limited and doesn't offer anything nice. There is only one restaurant anyway. On a saturday evening it looks like a cheap sports bar. This hotel has all the potential to be great: location is excellent, freshest seafood is easily available - yet nothing is done. What a pity!
Rooms were good and staff were friendly.
Restaurant meals were average but expensive. Staff seemed to rush clients to leave as soon as possible and reset table if you left even briefly so you couldn't finish your meal.
All staff were efficient, cheerful and helpful. The housekeeping staff were especially good, particularly in finding and retrieving a lost hat. The shuttle drivers, who rarely get a mention in these reviews, deserve praise for their helpfulness.
Two breakfast menus a bit confusing, also business expense account pricey. But this is an expensive hotel in an expensive location in an expensive city, so what the heck. The $7 calimari bar meal is good value, though.
