Requested a quiet room, and we were assigned one that was far from the elevators and most foot traffic, but it was also right next to the street. I could hear larger, noisier vehicles day and night. I was able to sleep okay but others might prefer to use ear plugs, or request a room that is away from the street. I could also hear a dog barking from a neighboring room at one point, though only for a short while. Also, when I booked this hotel, I mistakenly thought it would be by the ocean as it said "private beach" -- well, it is on an inlet and not the ocean. To see the ocean you would have to cross the street and take a short 3-minute walk, which I was happy to do. Parking spaces are annoyingly small and it was extremely difficult to get my son into his car seat while parked in a space. Note there are condo units in the same building as the hotel and spaces are marked accordingly. Lastly, the view outside my window on the second floor was a parking lot, an apartment complex, and a busy street. Not a big deal, but if one is hoping for a nice view, they might be disappointed depending on their assigned room.
Hotel room was large, with lots of room for my 4-year old son to play with his toys. Everything was clean and looked great. Bathroom was spacious and the shower was large. Also liked how the ocean is only a short walk away, though across the street.
