Next door ordered room service in late afternoon and the tray/plates were left outside the room and no one came to pick up until the next day.
I was there from Wed to Sun - during the week it's all business travelers and the hotel is quiet and calm. On the weeknd, it seems to be a destination for large groups of young children, and the lobby and atrium becomes chaotic and loud and they destroy the common areas. Try to leave before Saturday morning if you want a relaxing weekend.
ALL the staff were "above and beyond", very pleasant, friendly, attentive and helpful. And I needed help. I lost an important carry on, and they went out of their way to help me find it, calling many cab companies and checking in with me as we both hunted. I found the piece myself, but the front desk person helping me took the time to come over to me to hear my story. He deserves a medal and a raise.
Overall everything was excellent. Picky points. They could have have a heat lamp in the bathroom and a micro-wave.
Location, location, location!
Dated facility, and overpriced Daily Grill restaurant!
Pub was blah, they tried several times to up charge me. Bed was very uncomfortable
Staff were nice.
1. Mold on bathroom walls. 2. Strange smell in the room even after they changed my room. 3. The picture of the room I selected which was $20 more than the standard category showed bigger square footage with a sitting area however, the actual room did not look bigger or have a sitting area. 4. Took 50 minutes to deliver one salad and a drink from room service after several calls. But most important was the mold in the bathroom which I had not noticed until last day otherwise I wouldn't have stayed for a minute!
That the staff so readily addressed my concerns and found a different room for me. Convenience to metro.
The first room I was given had damage to the patio door, giving questionable security. There was damage to components of the room, poor lighting and what looked like jury-rigged environmental controls. I felt insulted and afraid for my safety The hotel is in severe need of updating.
We thought the hotel was very welcoming and the staff very friendly. Only there for one night but would have liked to stay longer. A comfortable and relaxing stay.
Food was good in dining room and the location was good. Staff was friendly and professional.
The parking deck was horrible -Very cramped and falling apart. The ceilings are actually crumbling. The rooms were in need of an update. Furniture was dated and worn and there was a power cord with extension cord shoved under the bed which I'm certain is not to "code". The cleaning was ok but not great.
- Swimming pool. - Service at the party we attended (Goldstein wedding anniversary.) was excellent.
That the cold water faucet in the bathroom sink was broken. The faucet would turn but water wouldn't come out. I would imagine the person cleaning the room would have noticed that. In any case, I went downstairs and our room was quickly changed.
Room size, large beds, large bath room. Good location.
No drinking water, no hot water kettle,no snacks,no newspaper in the room. Poor room service, poor restaurant. Inadequate lounge facilities. Very impersonal environment.
The beds was comfortable and the location was okay about 12 minutes from downtown.
When I arrive the front desk staff could not find my reservation and the way the parking lot is structured and the additional $15.00 for the parking is outrageous. The parking should be free
Truly old feel and worn down. In serious need of an update.
Excellent location and friendly staff.
Fitness room and the pool are two small.
Location and friendly staff
I wasn't able to turn of the A/C :)
Bed, coffee available in lobby
construction on side and had to walk around it for metro or main entrance. Shower was weak. Long metro ride to downtown
The room was great and so was the banquet hall. Very clean all around!
The staff at the front desk could have been more friendly.
The location is great.
The rooms are very dated. It was very loud. We stayed on the second floor and the bar and restaurant in the open area on the first floor sounded like it was in our room. Bell hop was nice, guy that delivered room service was nice. The staff behind the counter were annoyed at our presence.
Clean, comfortable, convenient to Bethesda metro stop
Lobby noise could be heard from our room, having to pay for in room wifi
Location was good.
Room smelled of rubber. No outlets around the room for the iron. Had to wait over 5 minutes for the elevator. Shower knob was broken. No refrigerator in room. No free breakfast. Expensive parking. Hairdryer was old and barely working.
Great location, very clean and loved the pool and hot tub!
Girl at front desk was a little rude and seemed annoyed when I wanted to pay for 2 rooms using a different credit card than I reserved with. Just rushed through it and didn't give us any hotel info about parking or breakfast or where pool is. The only other thing was you have to leave hotel and go around corner to get to parking garage.
I like the look of the inside of the hotel, the balconies. Bars and restaurants in the hotel is a nice and helpfull thing.
I don't think the staff was helpfull with accomodation. We asked for two connected rooms, we called, both parties, days before our arrivals, it didn't happened, even we were assured about it. I lost time on those unneeded phone calls. It wasn't nice of Hyatt
Conveniently located near restaurants Was given a corner room. Loved the huge balcony and two walls of windows. Convenient parking
Convenient, staff was excellent
Meal/Snack options were WAY over priced. Example: A 20oz bottle of dasani water cost over $3.00 in the lobby area. A breakfast of 3 pancakes with a medium glass of OJ and Coffee cost $30.
