The Hyatt Regency Chicago is in the ideal location for exploring the city. It seems to be able to cater for all sizes of function. The hotel as a whole is getting a little dated. The rooms have limited access to tv and like so many hotels these days, everything seems to be charged as an extra. I have taken to trying to find hotels that include wireless internet during your stay or at least a couple of free internet stations in the hotel lobby. |

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The surfaces (carpet, furniture, wallpaper, sinks, tub/shower) in the room were worn, and desperately needed a facelift. I was told renovations were scheduled... hopefully the renovations will take place soon. If not, there are nicer hotels in the area that are less costly, therefore they should reduce their rates to accordingly until the much needed repairs are completed. |

This hotel is centrally located within the dowtown core. It offers a wide range of restaurants and cafes on site which is handy. The fitness facility was modern and clean. The hotel charges far too much for local calls from your room. They should provide free use of wireless internet like all other hotels do, instead of charging $28 dollars per day which is ridiculous. In view of the fact that several companies have conventions/meetings here, they should offer use of the internet. |

Just one night for the chicago marathon, but the accomodations were very nice, staff very helpful and I liked the automated checkout very much. I would stay at this hotel anytime I could afford, so not very often. |

The location of the room in the hotel. The hotel was busy due to the Chicago Marathon and therefore if you called the front desk they never would answer. Hard to get a wake up call. |

The city of Chicago is a great place to be, business or pleasure. The location of this hotel is wonderful. This hotel is so large that the impression of non-caring is unavoidable. In addition, the hotel is old but well kept. Personally, I would like to avoid this property again. |

Bed was comfortable Very expensive for what we got and I cannot believe we had to pay for parking at your hotel as guests. Also I was not given enough cream for my coffee. Room was really small. |

The location and view were amazing. I also liked that the store/cafe was open late. Lastly, the breakfast spread was excellent. a pool would have been nice. |

This hotel is located right at the South end of the Magnificent Mile, so it was very convenient for shopping and seeing the sites of downtown Chicago. |

I got less than what I was expecting from a plus 4 star hotel. It is an old building that is superficially renovated. It is not worth the money if you pay the full price at all. The lobby gives you a fake impression of what is really going on in the hotel. The food is very expensive. I had to have them to change my room because of the AC that was making a horable clunking sound. I wont suggest the hotel to any one especially with the full price that they are asking for. |

Decent room, especially the bed. View from 30th floor was nice. Great location in front of the river, steps away from all the main downtown attractions. Ice machine in the hallway made more noise than a jackhammer. Sound isolation between rooms is bad, you can hear normal conversations from next room. Outside of windows was dirty. Breakfast not included. Wi-fi not included. Electronic fridge that charges you if you lift a can of soda, even if you place it down again. Freezing temperatures in the conference rooms. Everything is *way* too expensive, price/quality relationship is rock bottom. |
