All activities were included in the low resort fee. Staff went above and beyond to make my husbands birthday incredible. Planning my next trip for my sons 6th birthday and this will be our first choice! Breakfast buffet was well worth it. 5 stars all the way!
We've stayed here before and it never fails to disappoint! While there was some lobby construction going on this week, our stay was still wonderful. Our room was recently redone and was very modern and comfortable. We had a great view over the pool, pond, and looking out towards the Disney parks where we could see the fireworks. The amenities and facilities are just amazing, we wish we had more days at the HRGC to use them all. It's the best pool ever and the staff are great.
The lobby construction, but that's all finished now!
We traveled with our girls (10+7 years old) This hotel had it all! pools with waterfalls and caves, wall climbing, fire pit at night with smores, private beach, paddle boats, mermaid lessons and so much more! The rooms were a nice size and comfortable, situated around 15-20 minute ride from the Disney parks and 10 minute ride from Orlando's Premium Outlets, very close to many restaurants and Downtown Disney. Lovely staff, especially the waiters at breakfast--super friendly and welcoming:) Will defiantly be coming back on our next trip!
It was a great experience , I went with my mother and could not be better I just woul love to stay longer next time
The staff they are well trained, very helpful.
The facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great time.
No Airport shuttle. No Hospitality suite for guests leaving later in the day. Could use more shuttles to local attractions.
As much we pay for this hotel we deserve to have a free Wi-fi in the rooms as well as the parking , thanks
If you're looking for a great time in Orlando and want a daily resort routine with your family, this is definitely one of the right places for it! The pool area is amazing, the hotel rooms are tidy and the view... Unbelievable! I will recommend it to all of my friends!
Self-parking fees could have been included in the daily hotel fee. $17 is not cheap for Orlando, a place with plenty of empty lots.
Beautiful hotel inside and out Staff was so warm and comforting Pool and jacuzzi 24 hours Free glass of champagne when you check in Private Resort Many restaurants around
Will be hard to get around without a rental car because the resort is about 20 minute walk to the closest restaurants (ihop) About 25 minutes away from universal studios and 20 minutes away from disney but not a problem with your own car Parking is 17.00 a day (15 if you book through booking.com) Had to pay tax on the 25.00 a day service fee
The rooms are well equipped and large. Excellent restaurant. Spectacular pools, Own lake with beach. Numerous activities . Running tracks.
The shuttle bus runs only 1x/day to Universal and Sea World, with very unpractical timing. Better take the car.
The facilities are excellent. The pool is amazing and kids love it. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The shuttle bus service provided to the main attractions eases the hassle of driving and parking.
The $25/day "resort fee" is a bad idea. It creates the same impression people get when they buy an airline ticket and show up at the airport only to discover they have to pay several extra fees for things that should have been included. Just charge the appropriate price for the hotel room + taxes. That's it. It would also be nice if the "on-property" shuttle van could make scheduled trips to/from Downtown Disney to designated drop off/pick up points. Catching a taxi back from dd is a nightmare.
The staff at this hotel are second to none! EVERY employee we encountered was fantastic! Prior to this trip, the Pointe Orlando was our favorite place, but the staff at the Hyatt Grand Cypress definitely bumped the bar up. Thanks so much for a great vacation!! We loved every moment of it!
A refrigerator and microwave in the rooms would be greatly appreciated. I get the extra fees, go to California and you will find the same thing. But, to pay what you pay to stay here without the ability to make some of your meals or snacks in the room is frustrating.
The friendliness of the staff The facilities The location
The housekeeping The bedding
Beautiful grounds & pool! We were refunded - without question - for the self-parking fee paid when we not only couldn't park in the self-service lot, but had to park way out on the street across from the kayak shack.
Not enough parking - we paid for self-service parking; there was a huge event going on & we ended up parking on the street out across from the kayak shack. The housekeeper was just finishing up our room when we returned at 5:00 p.m. We had left BEFORE 8 a.m. for our day at Disney World.
Location and facilities
Some facilities like the slide closed too early.
Rooms are updated with all the modern amenities, beds are comfortable, bathrooms are luxurious. Grounds are beautiful, best pool ever. Staff is friendly and helpful. Merlot the McKaw is awesome
I love everything about this hotel. My favorite
The grounds are pretty nice and the staff is somewhat friendly.
No microwaves avail for the small children and for baby food. They only had one microwave on the property which caused a hardship for women attempting to warm up milk or give baby food to there kids. Need to find a better solution then asking people to leave there room and head all the way down to the opposite side of the hotel.
Pool was nice
25 a day facilities fee! 17.50 a day for parking! Can't order a pizza to the room, they won't let the delivery guy past the gate! No candy machine! ungodly prices for drinks and room service.

Recreation facilities are great. Hotel is very nice, clean and modern. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants on the main road.
Sliding toilet/closet door in hotel room is a little annoying. Won't open fully if safety deposit box door is open.
Service was great, but so it should be the for price.
Way too expensive.
The Staff were very friendly. The Resort activities were excellent especially the pool and water slide. I will definitely return here again.
I initially only stayed there because they accepted dogs and it was close to other family in the area but I'm glad I did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and pool and activity areas.
We didn't enjoy the traffic out on the main road.
The beds were too small for an adult and child
