No late night bar / lounge on premises. Really difficult to get a late check out past 12 (we had 3 rooms and asked to keep one till 2 in the afternoon and were declined)
Clean. Staff Friendly. Had all the basics except late night lounge.
would have liked better links to Downtown Disney
lovely pool area
the hotel does not even offer water in the mini bar!! I was shocked 45 minutes to finally be able to get some water ! ! very expensive but quality very average change location for the same price
hemingway rest was great
Pool area and all the free activities i.e biking, boating, golf, fishing, climbing wall, etc etc Great place fully recommend
The staff friendly and helpful. The Hotel has everything you need and want. Would go back again and again.
Food service at poolside restaurant took too long, over an hour.
A true luxury resort
Staff-Location-Pools-Gym-Security-Bars Cleanliness-New upgraded pool area.Family orientated-Just unbelievable too much to describe!
Our toilet backed up 2 times. I also didn't think the room was cleaned as well as it could have been. Dust under the sofa bed. The guys who fixed the toilet were fast and apologetic for the inconvenience. Didn't like paying for parking in the self park lot.
The pool the beach the location to disney. The design of the rooms so pretty.
location, service, food, employees were marvelous
English breakfast was missing baked beans...all the time. Lol, don't know why.
Great pool..friendly staff.
The registration check in staff both days were rude not quite sure why they are unfriendly as they represent the hotel when guests arrive. There needs to be rule about seats for the pool. All the seats were saved by 8:30am.
We had a great stay loved the location. The valet, concierge, bell desk, waiter and staff at Hemingway and cafe were excellent and so was housekeeping. We really enjoyed our dining experience at Hemingway.
We booked two rooms, both with pool view, for our family and my husbands brother and wife. We ended up on different floors and different parts of the huge hotel!! We do not see each other so much as we live in Europe and they live in states. Personal was unhelpful, even if this bug mistaje was on their side! .Our pool view was a view on some ugly roof. Only if we got out on balcony we got side poolview. More - Room was very very noisy, we had neigboures with small kids screaming and crying, we could hear every word they said and all noices at the bathrooms from other people. I understand it is hotel for families with kids, we also have kids, but there was no isolation btween the rooms, bathroims ... Terrible. I We booked alergy free room - but: Headboards were visibly scratched from pets, personal told us they were no pets int that room, but the evidence they were was visible on the leather headbord and I could feel thre must have been a cat or dog. They told us it is alegry free room, which could not be as alergy free rooms are usually with hardwood floors and no carpets holding dust as this had dusty carpett. Last sad experience was the pool which looked nice, but had no capacity for number of hotel guests. No soace to sit. People fighting for chairs. People ocupied chairs with towel but seats empty for loong time. Personal again unhelpfull. Nobody was in the big swimming poll. Why? Ice cold water. People were making fun of it. Small pool was packed with people, nicely warm, but water very dirty, not crystal clear ... We are sorry, but this was not value for the money, not a nice experience for 400 usd per night for a family with two children. It was not one issue, but overall not nice, absolutally can not recomend.
Stayed one day after I married my lovely wife. She and I absolutely lived it. They were kind enough to upgrade our room because we were newlyweds. Also sent us to our room with a complementary bottle of champagne. The best resort I've ever stayed at in Orlando. Loved it. 5 stars
I booked this for my sister's wedding night and she loved it. She said it was a very nice hotel and the bell boy had her husband pick up to the room while the bell boy took pics of them. Sounded really sweet and my sister was happy and that's all that matters :)
Limited working equipment for Lake activities.
friendliness of the staff
The restaurants where very $$$ and not worth the money.
Pool was beautiful but not heated couldn't go in.
The $25 dollar resort fee which I didn't use any of it (bikes, kayaks, shuttle, etc) and was still charged. However, I was told when I checked in that the resort fee would be waived if I didn't use any of it. When I checked out, I was still charged. And let's not forget charging for self parking.
However it's far from the parks and if you are going to Orlando to go to Disney, stay near to Disney or inside it. It's not near to downtown disney as well thus it's quite hard to move around without a car. For that price, stay inside Disney.
Well, the hotel is really nice if u r playing golf or if u r going to a conference.
A bit pricey
The staff was wonderful. Lots to do and excellent restaurants
Everything the pool the kayaks the king club room
We stayed for a week last year with our teens. We all loved the amenities - water sports, beautiful pool, expansive proprerty - truly feels like a resort. The decor is fabulous - bright, clean and modern! Quick, last minute trip to Orlando for one night and we were thrilled there were rooms available. We will be back!!
Still don't like the "resort fee". And like most hotels now, the outrageous self park fee while increasing revenue for the hotel, takes away from the overall experience.
Renovations finally complete. Much more hip and modern. Staff remains one of the best. Great to see the same faces since we first stayed over 20 years ago.
