No pool $15 a day parking fee. Our last stay there they waived the parking fee.
Food options limited. Sports bar was small but good food. Only restaurant was pricey. But only a short walk to the Landing for food options and entertainment.
Rooms very clean and large and beds were comfy. Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Walking in area safe and wide open by river. The Landing had great bars and restaurants and shopping close to hotel.
I was not informed that the pool would be closed, a big disappointment for my grandchildren.
Usual comfort of a Hyatt property
Mattress was like sleeping on rocks
I pre paid for my room and later found out that my group received a lower rate. I called the hotel and they were unwilling to cover the difference. I will never stay with you again..
I fell in the shower, slipped and broke the soap holder, had some serious cuts, two needing 38 stitches. Upon arriving back to the hotel the housekeeping manager called me and told me they were charging me 150 to clean my room cause of the blood. I explained the situation but he was very standoffish. Anyway I requested a manager and Bobby Miller arrived and we talked and he took off the charge. Anyway, the rooms lack luster for the price and river view was lackluster.
The furniture in my room was old and outdated.. The shower head did not work well.
The food was great, the staff was friendly. the bed was comfortable, the room was very clean.
They couldn't find our reservation, also they charge for parking which we didn't know until we checked in.
Pool and hot tub were nice
Every person on staff acknowledges your presence and asks about your needs at all times. There was a convention meeting there, the NCAA basketball tournament was in town, and a big concert going on, and the staff acted like it was business as usual. I have worked in the business, and this is the best staff I have ever seen.
I had no bad experiences with the hotel. We just did t like jacksonville in general.
Nice hotel, friendly staff, clean
great room. friendly customer service at front desk. I'll be back!
No places to shop or eat
Full staff was very helpful and friendly
Price was a little high but the river run & elton john were in town so that could have been the reason
Hotel had very friendly staff. Excellent location and Proudly Served Starbucks :) Did not have breakfast but the buffet items we saw looked fresh
There are no exhaust fans in bathrooms.
Convenience of location.
the rooms were dirty no safe and no refrigerator you could take lessons from the Hilton hotels.buzz from Tampa Florida
I didn't like anything.
Great recommendations for dinner out, all very friendly
room was hot on arrival since our a/c wasn't working. They did fix it pretty quickly when we left for dinner. Room was pricey and had to pay $15 to park in their garage.
We had a nice quick trip. great location with everything we needed to do in walking distance.
I wish there was a continental breakfast include
the "deluxe room" was pathetic. $258 for a classic shotgun style hotel room. I checked out early and found another hotel. Staff was great but HIGHLY over priced u pay for the name. Serious upgrade charges at the desk as well. Oh so not happy. I seriously want my money back I feel like I was lied to but I stayed their the night but after 7hrs on the road I jus wanted to shower and eat. U shld make hotels give u a layout of rooms to show customers and we shld be able to publish actual pictures. This was a shame
No fridge in the room to keep the wine chilled. Had to use a sink.
Attentitive and friendliness of the staff. Rooms comfortable and very clean.
I know you all don't control the gift shop, but when you compare your staff to theirs it was painful to have to go in there to buy somethings, find a new vendor or take it over with your staff.
From the moment I checked in; to the final exit the entire stay was amazing primarily do to the efforts of the staff, Thank you Donna For the amazing job.. you all should give her a raise. in fact give the entire staff a raise, the worked very hard and ensured i had no troubles during my stay.
The maid beat on our door and woke us before 9:00 a.m. That was bad. They should not do that.
The staff was very nice and on hand. The rooms was very clean. I have no complaints at all.I enjoyed myself and plan to go back real soon.
Did not have a bad experience. However, the steps from the parking garage into the building were a bit of a pain without a ramp for rolling luggage. A hotel of this stature could afford to put a ramp in, so you do not have to luge heavy suitcases up the steps. Also charging me for both parking and Wifi was a bit ridiculous, as well.
Cleaniness and the views of the river and the city.
