Offering beautiful views of Manhattan, this Jersey City hotel is in the waterfront financial district. The Newport PATH train station into New York City is just a 3-minute walk away.
Score from 187 reviews Excellent
This landmark hotel is ideally placed in the centre of New York City's Financial District, moments from attractions, including the Stock Exchange and offers comfortable rooms featuring flat-screen...
Score from 296 reviews Excellent
The view of the nyc and the walk on the side of the river also easy access to the path train and the light rail
I didnt like that i had to pay for the parking and the price was little experience.
Beautiful view, people were very nice. We requested a room with a view of nyc and we got it with no problems! Very easy access to nyc!
The view and the room
The view was nice and of coarse the bed was very comfortable. Excellent facilities.
Room was so small and housekeeping knocking on my door 4 hours prior to checkout time and continued to knock several times after.
Great location with spectacular views of Manhattan skyline. Next to path subway for a few mins into central Manhattan.
Cost of parking. Though I think its similar everywhere in New York
Great views across to Manhattan Easy to get to on public transport Nice restaurant, great food and service, not cheap but good value
Car service to airport very poor. They tried to deny I had paid in advance, one driver refused to take me to the airport. VERY expensive for the standard of vehicle and driver I was given.
The place of the hotel is fantastic and in good location which u can go to trade center with water taxi within 10 min
Location. Access to PATH. Nespresso Machine.
Service was excellent
Was dissapointed with breakfast buffet and having to pay parking
The nice view on Manhattan without the noise of the city. We enjoyed the restaurant too. Family friendly.
Although it is not very expensive, we regret that the breakfast was not included. On week-ends beware of the PATH, which has limited service to World Trade Center.
the hospitality of all the employees
Cleanliness of the carpet was poor, shower curtain was ripped no may for the run stains on the couch, refrigerator made a loud vibration noise..Had to change rooms cause shower in first room was faulty.
Room view Location Bed Bar & restaurant view Room service and other staff Blackout curtains - blocked light Would have liked a small microwave to reheat snacks .
1. No Hyatt sign at entrance when get out of cab. Where am I? 2. No colour in rooms - very drab - even a splash of colour would help. 3. Laundry pick slow to respond. Had to ask 3 times on one occasion, 2 times on another 4. Ice machine broken in corridor
Staff was excellent! The manager on the night we arrived was what you wish everyone in customer service and the hospitality industry should be like. My wife had a bad foot injury and couldn't really get around so without question the bell hop showed up with a wheel chair which was very kind. They updated our room and dinner reservations since we arrived a little late due to bad weather (again not nessicary, but appreciated). Every staff member from valet to managment was by far the friendliest I have ever encountered to date and I have traveled around the world and stayed at more resorts and hotels than I can count. I can not wait to return to this location again... Thank you all!
Movie rentals are absolutley ridiculously over priced.. Its 2015 that should be included not $20 for an hour long movie! Also my external hard drive with usb connection did not work with the TV and it should have. I had an important presentation to give which did not work out and I had to pass around my personal laptop. Not very professional! Other than that, It was a fantstic experiance and the staff were rockstars!
Wish check out time could be later
Really everything. The staff was also so helpful (we had problems with missing luggage at the airport and at the hotel they made so much for us)
I did not try the meals, so I can't judge those.
Easy access to NY, good value for price
resturant service and food good. Shay was excellent!
no hotel service book in room had to call twice for one. ordered medium well burger, when ordered was repeated back for confirmation, I was told medium rare. I reaffirmed medium well. My burger was rare when I received it. Hair on desk and several places in bathroom. Bed was hard.
Love this hotel, view, staff, facilities, food! Can't think of a way to improve this experience.
I like the room and the customer service, comfortable beds, hot water for the showers.
Pay 34 a day for parking, no real food places that deliver, the service for delivery or the food is horrible.
gorgeous room, beautiful view, staff friendly
$32.00 for parking and paid internet which was working poorly for such an expensive hotel. Not even a complimentary bottle of water. Poor value for the price
Close to the Path and it was a nice view of the Manhattan Skyline. The rooms were nice and in the rooms facing the Manhattan Skyline, they had a Nespresso machine! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to us when we complained about the noise from our room.
Nice rooms but the walls were paper thin. They put us on the second floor and even though there were no rooms above us, you could hear all the noise from the bar and the kitchen. We complained and they moved us to the 6th floor with a better view but then I could hear the guy next door snoring his life away. Good thing he stopped!
Reception was very accommodating. Complimentary morning Starbucks coffee in lobby
The view is very nice
The hotel itself is very very old. Breakfast was not good at all, swimming pool tiny. Too expensive for what it was
