The customer service was excellent. I would recommend.
The hotel location
The reception's desk
At check in, I was offered a larger room for less money. The room was lovely. The only catch was the bed was a Murphy bed! I was very appreciative to be able to save some money and the bed was fine!
With a Hyatt you always know what you are getting. Clean spacious and friendly staff. Nice location for someone to stay just before a cruise.
Staff was very friendly and helpful Hotel was clean and spacious. Rooms was quite. What a lovely relaxing hotel to stay before our cruise.
Nothing to complain about
The room was not renovated since 1980, probably. It looked like we lived in a motel room of the 80's, that you watch on tv. The location was ok, quite central, but very expensive for the level of the room.
The property is lovely, and located well. I could easily walk to where I needed to go, and cabs were super cheap as well. My room also had an excellent view of the city.
I had asked for a room with double beds. I had called a few days previous and changed my suite room (which was only available as a single king room) to the club level so I could have a double bed room. This changed cost me extra money, when I checked in I was then told all they had available was a king bed. They moved a cot into my room, which was not very comfortable. It was not fair to my travel companion to have to sleep on a cot when we both paid 400$ each (for 2 nights, the total being 800$). The club level is lovely and the free breakfast/lunch/beverages is a nice bonus... except half the time the coffee machine was broken and the beverage cooler was locked.
Staff was helpful with getting a riDE to the port. Location was close to downtown.
Our room wasn't available when we got there at 7 at night. The desk person wanted to put us in a room with one bed, but we had 5 people.
Location, service breakfast, were excellent.
I lost my grey sweater and white Oakley sunglasses. I trust one or both were found, and returned to me by mail. Please contact me if they when they are recovered. Thank you. Jane Quark
Everything except Staff and Location.
Old and weary hotel needs a renovarion. Very small pool and gym
They abused with the price for two nights. It came to up to $700 and the room didn't even have minibar, and all the elements in the room were outdated. It was defenetly not what you would expect for that kind of money. We order food but it came 1.45 later!!! They didn't change for it but that was not the point. I don't recomend this hotel at all!
Old doors and carpet Sun gidden by other buildings
Clean & quiet rooms
The room was very clean, comfortable and quite frankly took our breathe away.... An amazing value for the quality of the room. we would most definitely stay here again... We recommend to anyone traveling to Miami who wants to be near the shopping and nightlife that downtown Miami has to offer....
If it was free to stay.... That could be the only improvement...
We liked the friendliness of the staff especially Ram, Nadia from the bar, and Maria the concierge. Bayside was only a 10 minute walk. Taxi from airport was only $25, and shuttle to the port was $7
no parking no free breakfast price is no right no refrigerator.
The location in downtown
The gym could use some updating.
I didn't like the valet service which was expensive - USD35 a day and I had to wait at least 20/25 minutes to get my car each time I asked for it.
Location is great. Great room. Great view. Close to many things.
Our bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. Internet had 2 options. Free option was brutally slow.
This particular trip I was traveling solo with my toddler. We travelled internationally and arrived at the beautiful Hyatt Regency in Miami after a long flight and 6 hour time difference. The service was outstanding as was the food. I was incredibly impressed with the follow up as well. I will always look to stay at a Hyatt Regency now. I hope other Hyatt's can maintain the standards Miami has set in place. I felt like a VIP. We were perfectly cared for.
Wifi fluctuated. Concierge not very knowledgeable about how to get to Key Largo
When I checked out $75was taken off my tab
Poor service front desk attendant was rude. Missing items out of my trunk I believe was taken by valet. Tub drain didn't work water was backing up. Room smells like cigarette smoke, room too small, parking to expensive and too much traffic in the area takes some time to get out the area because the bridge is always up and the area is congested. Never again will I stay there
