Everything, you can tell there is a high attention to detail in this property. Each space you enter is clean and inviting, the employees were kind and helpful. Absolutely will be back again, couldn't ask for a better location. Highly recommend!
Room service was fair. They made mistakes with the orders.
The location was good. The shuttle bus was a great continence since parking in town is limited. Staff was helpful and friendly.
A little pricey. For size of room.
Shuttle to town. Friendly staff. Great views from room.
Room not ready for check-in until almost an hour after check-in time. Maid service was late. Heat did not work properly and room was chilly/drafty. Room was small.
Staff was very friendly
Gym was small and didn't offer much for weight-training
Loved the view from this Goat Island location. Loved hanging out with friends at the fireplace.
Location was great service very friendly and helpful quality of the breakfast very good
Temperature of the indoor pool could be warmer breakfast was a little small for the price
The bed wasn't as comfortable and a drunken guest on the floor kept us awake.. Even the kids could not sleep with all the coursing..
Such a nice place to stay. Surrounded by water with a gorgeous pool, outdoor fire places, bars, and chairs lined on the cliff to watch the waves crash
Booked the reservation 4 months in advance and requested a King room with water view. Paid over $500 per night and was given a room looking over a roof of another building. Complained and was moved to a room with a bathroom the size of a closet. The TV was located on a side wall so could not watch from bed. The mount to it was secured to the top so couldn't even pull out so it could rotate. Absolutely horrible planning. Maid left 1 hand towel and 1 water for 2 people. Was also charged $35 a day resort fee to have wi fi and to park the car in regular parking. Valet parking was extra. Spent 3 nights there and cost over $1600 with no extras charged on our part. Worst rip off of any hotel I've ever stayed.
Most of the help was very nice. Transportation to the harbor was helpful every 1/2 hour View of bay from room was nice.
Very rude women at reception Towels were the worst I have ever seen in a hotel Room was very far from everything
Our luggage was never put into a car by the valet service causing us to have to return after arriving to our destination and realize it wasn't there. The manager on duty simply confirmed our bags were in the luggage room not labeled but offered no other help.
$35 daily resort fee for parking, water and newspaper
The pool rooms were musty smelling, drape hanging off the tract and the toilet handle broken. Felt like a 1970 bad road motel for $450 a night,
The rooms and view were wonderful
In bringing around my car when I checked out, the valet smashed my 6month old car into a concrete barrier. He admitted fault, and all the manager said was that they were sorry but I would have to go through their insurance company. They didn't even offer to refund my overnight stay. How is that customer service????
Friendly staff, Good food,
Bedding was dirty and needed to be changed, Outside the room there were holes in the walls, the pool was dirty and the lounge chairs were frayed. Oh and they towed my car out of their parking lot without telling me for a convention they were having.
We loved the island itself...fantastic water views, marina, bridge, historic lighthouse, it was so lovely. We also likeed the shuttle service to and from town.
I had booked 3 rooms for our group (through Booking.com). When the last of our group tried to check in, we were informed they had oversold, and that 3rd party bookings were being denied. They arranged another room nearby at their expense, but this was embarrassing to me. Not very good policy, in my opinion.
Trudy, the concierge was fantastic. The front desk staff should display some of her enthusiasm, attention to detail and customer service. The valet staff was great as well.
Room was ok but needed a thorough cleaning.
The grounds, pool & restaurants on premises, beautiful sunset. Easy walk to wharf area.
Walls seemed a bit thin, could hear neighbors in next room
Spaciousness of suite
Plumbing conditions: Toilet handle sticks and water runs constant. Sink & tub drains run slow and need manual adjustment each time used. Window leaks into room during heavy rain.
Great location and views The hotel has a workout room, nice pool, and other amenities as well as a lively atmosphere .
The Hotel rooms are dated. The bathroom had a tub / shower that filled up while you were taking a shower. We were notified that the dirty rusty water coming out of the faucet was due to a broken pipe, and would clear up after running the water a few minutes. there is a $35 daily resort fee to use the pool and parking of which there were no parking spaces available and no available lounge chairs at the pool. You would expect a bit more for $575/ per night.
Convenient to the whole newport experience
Very small rooms
Bath tube tap has little water pressure
