Proximity to ferry/water taxi. Extremely helpful staff - very knowledgeable of area attractions.
Great location, spectacular views of Penn's landing. The pool area was nice.
The family next to us had 2 rooms. 2 nights in a row, their son decided to start running back and forth between the rooms slamming the door each time. This started at 5am each morning. Calls to the front desk were no help.
The location of the hotel is great and allowed easy access to downtown.
I didn't care for the fact that the TV stations offered were mainly news and sports channels. More free channels geared towards women need to be offered. I also didn't like the fact that when housekeeping cleaned the room prior to our arrival the bathroom toiletries (toothpaste) had been previously used. For the amount of money a room per night costs I am disappointed in the hotel.
We arrived late and had dinner at Keatings. Halfway through our meal 3 mice ran across the diningroom. My wife and children ran out of the diningroom.
We spent the night here so we could attend a concert in Camden. Best weekend getaway WITH the kids! The view from our room was wonderful, the staff was very professional, helpful, and very friendly. We had the best night's sleep in a long time! And what a prime location for sight seeing and for lots of activities within the City. We walked a lot but there is so much to do so close to the hotel. And we were allowed to stay parked in the hotel garage AFTER checking out! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
It's pricy... It is in Penn's Landing and it is a prime location to lots of things in Philly. Of course the little cafe in the hotel lobby is expensive as well but it was a weekend getaway so what would you expect. It was still worth every dime spent.
Location was great. Nice pool.
Parking was expensive. No continental breakfast.
The hotel is close to the Old Town and has beautiful views of the river and town. Rooms are large and comfortable. The pool and outside deck are an added bonus.
I have stayed at the Hyatt multiple times, and I've had a great experience every time. The rooms are always very clean. The staff is exceptional. If I'm going to be staying overnight in the city, I will always stay at the Hyatt!
no wifi and breakfast
The staff at the front was not overly caring of any issues and did not even ask how our stay was. The place was ridiculously loud. Security called a few times to deal with it and they did not. Did not advise of extra charges for incidental on my card and posted it when it should have only been a hold. Rediculous fee for valet with no indication before hand. ( I thought it was tip based and was still giving large tips until I realized at checkout) Nothing about the stay was great and no one really cared. The only staff that was adequate were the bellhops.
Extra fees I was not expecting and staff did not care to fix any issues
You have to pay for internet at the room. A internet é paga.
It took a long time to send a jacket for dry cleaning. There were no bags or laundry forms available my first bag.
Great location, comfortable room, very good in house dining options.
Had to wait for check in, not a huge issue but was told I'd receive a call when the room was ready, and never did.
Hotel conference facility
Not enough time to enjoy the relaxing park
Staff is great.
Dirty, dirty room. Hair in the bathtub, stains on the walls.
The staff was really excellent. My younger daughter broke a dish during breakfast and she felt really bad about it. The waiter at the restaurant (Emad), took great care of her and went above and beyond to make her feel better about it. He got a special milk shake and a candy bar, which eventually made my daughter smile.
Paid parking :( .
The river view was gorgeous and the new spruce street harbor park was only steps away. The valet service was also very accomodating.
Our bed was broken, but due to the holiday they stated there were no additional rooms available. There were multiple scratches, discolorations and marks all along the bathroom door and walls.
The room was very clean; the view of the river and ships was excellent; the bed was super comfortable; there was a mini frig to hold and keep beverages cold; the location was close to good restaurants and the old city from where we also purchased our city phlash bus tickets.
The concierge was never at the desk when we went through he lobby; we thought that parking was included in the price, so we were not happy to find that an extra $60 was tacked on to our bill; the staff was not real sympathetic to the fact that we had this extra surprise cost; the sign to get to the hotel parking garage was not large and or clear enough for us to easily figure out where it was we were supposed to park.
Beautiful location, next to the water
I really like the way the staff goes above and beyond to satisfy your need.
The location of this hotel is amazing with so much to do within walking or ferry distance.
In this day of age, at higher end hotels, I cannot understand daily internet fees when down the road at McDonald's it is free. Obviously a money grab but I would have much more respect if they just buffered it in the room price.
People the pool all of the above...
Our housekeeper Shery was great.
Trying to confirm the reservation was a very difficult process. The waiting time on the phone was very long. I got a call back at 2:00 pm after being promised a return call by 9:00 am. They played with me over the phone. I felt horrible with my family in Philadelphia without knowing if we had a reservation until 2:00pm, when the reservation was done the day before. Their customer service was terrible in dealing with the issue. The swimming pool qualify of the water could be more clean.
