I did not sleep well on the mattress. I guess my back is used to sleeping on a mattress like the sleep number that contours to your back.
Everything was perfect Front desk staff was extremely nice
Expected a larger and nicer lobby
It was very cold for me someone from the tropics
Location, staff, cleaniness
Service at the bar was poor at best.
Location Friendliness of staff especially the porters
Paying for parking
Nothing really, although the price was fair and the breakfast was good too (for the price).
Location is not that close to downtown, if you are without a car. spa/pool facilities were not good at all; people walking in with shoes and winter clothes (boots, jackets) into the sauna and pool area. Cleanliness in the spa/pool also was rather not what one would expect to see at Hyatt. Overall, we checked out a day earlier and moved to another hotel.
Location, cleanliness, and great staff!
The location of the hotel, the room, and view were great. We'll be back!
Expensive parking and no free wifi
I returned to this hotel after having stayed once before - free Wi-fi, peaceful location, large rooms, good gym facilities and helpful staff.
Unfortunately I experienced significant plumbing problems during my stay. The toilet blocked three times in four days which was most inconvenient and unpleasant. I reported it each time; it was only on the third occasion that the receptionist offered me a different room. After that, things were fine.
The parking was too costly.
The TV didn't work. They sent someone up to fix it and couldn't. We asked if we could have another room and they said they would investigate. After nobody got back to us, we inquired at the desk.
i don't think anyone should pay $25 to reheat food in a microwave.
everything! The river, the river walk. Location to good restaurants and historic stuff and battleship NJ. My wife was so pleased we had sex three times.
The breakfast kid didn't know what he was doing. And the eggs and potatoes were not fresh.
Nice large bathroom Beautiful waterfront view Friendly staff
Very basic room setup Paid wifi $32self park/$42 valet No 24hour room service
I couldn't stay longer
The location was great!
I paid for a bus service to the Philly marathon from the hotel and the bus never showed up. The concierge told us it was on its way 20 minutes before race starts. An unfortunate encounter with a member of restaurant staff lead me to ask for her name to write a letter to Hyatt. At 2am when our whole room is sleeping a security guard bangs on the door saying I threatened her. No- I asked for your name because service was not good. When I describe this to the hotel manager at checkout he says they will take movies off our bill for to accommodate for the inconvenience. We never ordered movies nor turned on the tv. Upon arrival home I found out they had charged for gift shop items we never purchased as well. Needless to say this was an awful experience at an expensive hotel.
web check in/out. Very friendly staff and bartenders!
Too expensive overnight valet - $42
The staff was very polite & accommodating, a couple of issues arose and they took care of them with no question.
We had to stay in an ADA handicap accessible room. The bathroom was not really ADA rated. The full tile floor was VERY dangerous to someone who had trouble walking. My wife almost fell 3 times. The shower also should be refigured, it does not make sense the way it is designed, it floods the bathroom the way it is now. I also think breakfast should be included in the room rate.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Restaurant food was good. Excellent location.
The person who answered the reservation line quoted one price for valet parking, Booking.com has another price listed, and I was charged a different price. When I inquired, I was initially dismissed, then told it was tax (which it's not). The indifferent, sometimes hostile customer service was the norm throughout my stay. Not a bad hotel, but there are many others close by and slightly cheaper. I travel often, and I won't choose this Hyatt again.
Staff staff and staff. Give please credit to their helpfulness and friendliness! Views; location great although a bit of a walk to the city center. Food; conference but yet the buffets were delicious, so were the break snacks. Gym; a good size gym well used by the guests.
If I need to find an item to list on the 'to-be-developed' it is the elevators. I was on an upper floor (21st) with magnificent views over Delaware River but I missed a couple of session begins in my conference because of waiting so long for the elevator. The high building needs an extra set of elevators, or the a Destination Control i.e. more intelligence to the elevators to optimize the travel between the highest and lowest floors between four cars. Get KONE Inc. Elevator people to the building please! :)
The walls were a bit thin. I woke up in the middle of the night to people walking and ralking rather loudly in the hallway. Never thought I'd be able to hear a perfect conversation happening outside my door while I layed in bed. The bed was uber comfortable though.
The staff, especially Chris Matlack, all genuinely helpful and engaging. The location, with views over both city and river, within a few minutes' walk of the centre.
The lack of a pavement ("sidewalk") from the front door to the main road, only a ten metre stretch but an oversight none the less.
Went away for my 25th Anniversary and the staff spoiled us silly. They made sure everything was great and did everything they could do to make us happy. Helped with cabs, hotel shuttle, extra towels....just great people and a beautiful hotel.
The bar restaurant for happy hour was the only thing that was very plain. No thrills on food and the tables were all chipped up. But in the big scheme, it really diddn't matter.
Location was great for walking around and having access to a rental car at the location
We arrived at 12:30am and had to walk to the local market to get a sandwich as they stopped room service at midnight. Room was not cleaned the following day as we checked in in the "morning". Room was dusty and we saw only one cleaning lady cleaning the entire floor. Overall would not recommend this hotel
