Booked and paid for king bed but got 2 smaller beds
Central location, great view from upper floors; had a renovated room: very pleasant & comfortable. WLAN was free....
Not very much value-for-money Some receptionists are not very friendly
Service was absolutely fantastic. From check in to in-room to pool and even beach side, the staff was attentive and gracious, anticipating our needs, not just delivering according to requests.
Walking - beaches- helicopter- snorkelling - variety of food - artwork- shops
Everything was perfect, couldn't ask for more.
I'll stay here again. Great location andamenities
Great location, good staff! Help organise tours for you.
Beware of hidden costs! Resort fees are a bit of a joke.
Location was very good. The Swim Bar was fun with good service.
Noisy renovations which I did not know about until after I paid. The Hotel was so huge that it lost a lot of it's personal touches including no room service, very poor tea/coffee/bar facilities i.e no glasses/cup/saucers etc in the room instead polystyrene mugs. Very disappointing compared to other world wide Hyatt resorts.
Staff were very friendly, renovated room was spacious with great ocean view
Construction going on around us every day was noisy and a little intrusive
great location right on the beach all the shops and the real waikiki atmosphere
the atmosphere of the hotel is for older asians ( japanes ) clients only, missing more dining options and the night bar for have a drink later on
Vince Brunetti, The Director of Food & Beverage was terrific. He helped me organise my girlfriends birthday. His restaurant recommendation was perfect and he helped organised roses to our room. He is a real asset to your team.
I believe I was incorrectly charged resort fees. I sent an email registering my concern and never received a reply.
The room was spacious, the general hotel staff was excellent, the location suberb.
The failure of management to adequately advertise the room view. We wanted an Ocean view and subsequently booked an Ocean View only to receive a room with Partial Ocean views, for that you need to have booked an Ocean Front room. Reservation failed to communicate with me after I complained. Even after I tried to contact them three different times and left messages. The rooms need renovation especially considering the price you pay. Overpriced - check your booking details before you book.
Friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Pool area was great.
Very confusing on locating elevator to get to front desk upon arrival with luggage.
Courteous staff Clean Complimentary water in rooms Complimentary water offered by valets when picking up car Great location Farmers market in courtyard every Tuesday and Thursday
Great location. Friendly staff who were extremely helpful at check in. Resort fee includes international calls and daily bottles of water - best value resort fee I've ever had.
View of the ocean. Close to everything.
The location and the staff are great. It was across the street from Waikiki Beach.
The room quality was below par - I've paid less for rooms and had better and cleaner bathrooms.
I LOVED THE VIEW AND THAT THE STAFF WERE SO FRIENDLY.
THAT THERE WAS NO MICROWAVE AND NO CABLE.
have to admit that the location of the hotel is one of the best, the nice view from the balcony, the easiness to shopping stores and food...
it's my second time to Honolulu. The hotel staff sent two letters to my hotel rooms (we have two rooms) two days in a row stating that there's something wrong with my payment card....it turned out that apparently there's nothing wrong, except that their staff forgot to change my payment method which I told them to at the point I checked in. And for that, I have to go to the reception two days in a row to see what's going on! another thing is that despite the easiness to shopping mall and beach, the facilities are not very good, the carpet looks dirty and smells, the washroom is pretty small and looks dirty as well.. and one of our rooms even lacked an essential furniture --- the cabinet with refrigerator.. and when I asked hotel staff about this, they told me oh it happens...not every room has it....I mean... What?! the facilities in Hyatt are old and a little worn out compared to the facilities in Hilton Wakiki Beach (The hotel I stayed in that I first time went to Hawaii) So if I go to honolulu for the third time, it won't be my choice, since its value for money is not fair enough.
The shopping. The view The access to laundry facilities the location the service
No toilet access around premises outside of the rooms. No air-conditioning. Too noisey..room 1418, could hear the elevators rolling up and down..didn't sleep well at all.. Need kitchen facilities: a jug to make a cuppa tea...a pantry to hold food in...
Great location with a rooftop pool and bar over looking iconic Waikiki beach. Walking distance to everything.
Decor not to my taste, but seems to be the case no matter where I stayed in Waikiki.
upgraded without charge to ocean view use of hospitality room after checkout
shore restaurant closed for maintenance
