Very clean and contemporary.
Room was small. We had requested no down bedding which was not what we found. We had to call housekeeping.
Great hotel in NYC because it is new and clean Good for couples and single persons Staff efficient and friendly Great restaurant
Excellent staff , nothing too much trouble
For such a trendy hotel with young staff and in a youthful location, the staff was very sweet and accommodating to an elderly couple.
The hotel is relatively small and was nice to come back to after a day in the city. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. I also enjoyed the adjoining restaurant, The Fourth; good food & drink.
Excellent location, just off union square. Very funky hotel with great food.great, large shower. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly waiter and bar staff.
Small room, but to be expected in NYC. Food was pricey, but again, to be expected for this quality in location.
Room service, breakfast quality, room design and fixtures quality. Excellent bed. Good location.
Room heating was weak. I did not like how the lobby smells. There is a very strong scent that I would rather avoid.
The location. The housekeeping staff was prompt. The room was very quiet.
The main restaurant staff seemed indifferent and not particularly attentive. Service was very slow and the drinks were terrible. The bathroom doors were difficult to close and open.
The staff was great.
Terrific choice -- restaurants & lounge very good; perfectly located.
Room was comfortable but awfully small -- needed more spacious closet/storage. Had to leave bags out lying on the floor.
Rooms were the most stylish and comfortable that I have stayed in recently -- exceptional, and I would highly recommend them Lobby felt fresh and modern Location was good but perhaps a bit too removed from the energy of Union Square
Staff made me wait for 45 minutes while they tracked down my reservation when I arrived. I was not offered a drink or any type of additional comfort while I waited. It felt extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate for a hotel of the Hyatt's caliber. Very disappointing. A top notch hotel would have tried to make me comfortable while I waited.
The hotel is in a great location close to our daughters who both live in Union Square. It is very conveniant to major name shops and a cineplex. It is just a short cab ride to the Village for great restaurants and great shopping in nearby Soho. The on site restaurant,Fourth, had excellent breakfasts during our fantastic 8 day stay. We will definitely choose this hotel again for future stays in NYC.
Fitness room Lobby decor
Tiny rooms Tiny sink area in bathroom tried to bill me for packages assistance !!!
We loved the very welcoming, courteous and helpful staff, beautifully appointed rooms, cleanliness of everything and very convenient location. The Fourth restaurant and Singl bar were great. We would be inclined to stay at this hotel every time we visit NYC.
The bed was very comfortable and I liked the availability of the adjoining restaurant "The Fourth".
We would have liked it if a hot breakfast was available instead of only a continental breakfast at the adjoining restaurant.
The decor was pleasant.
Compared to the price we paid for our room it was pretty disappointing. Also, I thought that there would be a better view.
my room was right next to service elevator and was make noise day and night. I did not realize it until 3rd day of stay and requested change of room which they did for last 2 days of my stay there.
Personal care is provided by staff. Service is quick and unobtrusive. When we had a problem with previous occupants smoking in bathroom and the leftover smell, we were moved immediately to an upgraded room. Awesome front desk.
Only issue was previous people had smoked in bathroom. Definitely not the hotel's fault. When pointed out, we were moved immediately to an upgraded room.
The people at the front desk were absolutely lovely. There were three on Friday night when I arrived and another three on Saturday night when I left. They made me feel welcome and helped make my day-long trip to NYC much more pleasant.
I couldn't tell what the smell was coming from, but there was a musty odor around the bathroom sink. Also, the clock on the clock radio was bright and disturbed my sleep a few times.
Location, amenities, tidy exquisite room
The location was awesome, close to whole foods and good for getting around the city and shopping
the room I was in was awful! next to the stairwell, the doors continually slammed shut which made sleep very difficult. The staff for the most part were helpful, but not over accommodating....think it would be helpful for them to get to know the city a little better.
Location, a block from Union Square More or less brand new Friendly staff
Noisy air conditioning Limited breakfast menu
I had an inside room, looking out on the courtyard. Best of it was the quiet! Never knew I was in the city. And didnt notice any noise from the corridor outside either. The shower was great, too!
The Brazilian restaurant in the basement was quick and easy with very nice attentive staff, but I guess I'm not a fan of Brazilian food. Not their fault. Just a matter of personal taste.
easy location a block off union square. Generally a functional hotel, good bed; some noise from hallway but didn't disturb my sleep. It wasn't the quietest hotel I've had, but there are far worse in New York.
we checked in late (11:30pm) with some bags; their (manual) revolving doors were a mess to try to wheel our suitcases through - there was no doorman and the desk clerk didn't even make a half effort to help or apologize that the hotel had such doors. at checkout, also had a weird experience as the clerk made a strange comment when we refused for him to get us a cab because we had called an uber. It was 6 am, so maybe it was a joke I just didn't get. He did help us with bags though. there were a couple pink spots on the duvet cover.
Parquet in the room; good position of the hotel; cleaning.
Size of the room: too small; no view of the city; noisy air conditioner.
