AC not working - didn't get fixed electric socket not working request for more towels ignored
Beautiful, clean, well located
Too expensive, too nice to have such poor service!!! 1. Valet parking way too expensive, difficult to access car. 2. Staff inattentive and neglectful to the most minimal requests/needs.
location perfect; layout of the room
that i needed to call daily to have my room cleaned; no microwave in the room
Lovely room in good location.
No safe in the room. Some reception staff were excellent others had an attitude. Seemed to forget they were there to serve us and not the other way around.the guy with glasses was great! So was young girl at Starbucks
My husband and I stayed there over the weekend and the location is .2miles from Bourban, and the noise level is great- didn't hear Anything at night! The facility is excellent. We valed the car for $35/day but well worth it- I knew it was taken care of! I do have the say on check-in we had an exceptional lady that helped us, Shelita Foe. She was so helpful and polite and took her time with us! I was very pleased and wish every hotel had a lady like this one!
Great location and excellent staff! Highly recommend it!
Garage across the street can be noisy, as can bourbon Street, but once we changed the AC/fan setting to be on all the time there was not a problem.
The location was perfect. It was close to everything in the French Quuarter. We loved our suite that was clean and had extra living room space to hang out.
The friendliness of the staff varied from person to person. The front desk staff in the morning were hospitable and nicer. There was also a scary fire alert that took place during our stay but when we got to the front desk the clerk gave very little details and was indifferent in giving info. No apologies was given if it was a mistake. We always loved staying at the Marriott but was a little disappointed this time around
Excellent location in the French Quarter. Beautiful, large rooms.
There were issues... first they lost one of our reservations, then when we checked out, they overcharged us by a great deal on our rooms, and they fixed it, but it wasted quite a bit of time, and if we hadn't noticed... Warning: check your bills.
Right in the French Quarter, nice comfy Hotel, big room for city!
The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The location was great! The hotel was only a block from Bourbon street (although almost at the end), but we were in NO for the Saints game and not for the typical party scene. The king suite room was ideal for our family because it allowed plenty of room for a port-a-crib to be set up in the back room and the partition allowed us to not have to be so quiet once the baby was asleep. The hotel was very clean and well kept.
There was zero view of anything which was a bit disappointing for the price we paid. The location was great for Bourbon Street but for a family trip, the location wasn't ideal since it was a bit of a hike to the riverfront area where all the family-friendly activities were. The pull out sofa in the front room of the suite didn't have sheets on it and we were unclear as to where to find them so we contacted the front desk who had someone bring us a set of sheets, pillows and a blanket. Overall that exchange was prompt but the blanket that was brought to us was literally crusty. Yuck. Thankfully we found the stash of sheets/blanket that were hidden in a drawer in the other part of the room and the blanket was much better. It was worrisome that they would bring a blanket in that kind of condition. The lobby was set up a bit oddly and it was annoying to continue to have to go through 2 different elevators just to get to the ground level.
The front desk and custodial staff were extremely helpful and courteous.
No onsite breakfast.
Getting up & down on the elevator
Room was very clean and had clearly been updated recently. Very nice, comfortable. Quiet, great location.
Lounge / bar / dining area adjacent to the lobby bright, sterile, and u inviting. So if you are the stop in the lobby bar for a drink or to read the paper type you will go somewhere else...which is fine the ritz is connected.
high quality, clean, quiet, very spacious room, helpful staff
Hotel was less than a mile from Superdome to walk to 1D concert. The king suite rooms are spacious. The bldg is beautifully decorated at entrance, ceiling, and halls. Friendly and helpful staff.
The breakfast was not included, we usually get a hotel that does. Our room had a big red stain on the carpet at the entrance of the room. Old streamers and tape from like a party was still on the walls. Ms. Ebony? at desk was notified.
The service, the rooms, and hotel are all appointed nicely and have a great atmosphere. The food was awesome and the people were very nice. You're a few blocks away from the start of Bourbon, so you're near the craziness (if you want that - which I did) but far enough to where you can still rest.
You do have to take one elevator to the lobby and then get off and take another to the main part of the hotel. It can get slightly irritating but SUPER minor.
The staff was amazing very down to earth people.. the rooms were beautiful Loved that I got to park my car and didn't have to get back in it till we left to head home everything is in walkin distance .....
Great location only a block and a half from bourbon street. Staff & valet was super nice. If we wanted to drive anywhere all we had to do was call for our car before leaving the room and it would be waiting on us when we got down stairs. Ordered room service one of the mornings and it was a lot if food for the money and was very good. I will defiantly stay here again and every time I visit New Orleans.
Staff was excellent...Nice location
I was told all suites had a living room and my room didn't. When I tried to upgrade room rates was mucher higher than I saw on internet.
Great location. ... very accommodating staff.
The hotel was beautiful, it is obviously an older building, but has some wonderful upgrades and I really enjoyed the decor. The room was a bit small compared to most suites in a more modern building, but for the area I think it was very appropriate for the price. We were only staying in new Orleans for one night with our six year old son on our way elsewhere, but I'm so glad we stayed here. The staff was amazing, from the valets to the front desk everyone was so helpful. The pictures and online descriptions depicted the room well. I made a good choice.
The breakfast in the hotel cafe was a bit overpriced, but that was expected, and the couch was a bit small, luckily we only had one small child that needed to sleep on it.
The room was great
Having to pay parking and then get hit with all the taxes including parking tax on top of all the other taxes and fees, way to much money, getting charged more than I booked for, lots of hidden fees
Location was great.
The price was high.
I was traveling with my 2 teenage sons so I booked the room with 2 king beds. The room was partitioned off and each side had their own tv. It was a perfect set up for my needs.
