The place is right on Bourbon street corner and we were there for carnival soooooooooo it couldn t have been more perfect. And to be even better you are in the middle of the party and the noise is still away from your room!!!
They should offer a complete breakfast, it would have made our stay perfect!!
The entrance of the hotel
Food was badly overpriced, but portions and quality were excellent
The clean, the comfort and the room is so nice ,have 2 tv too.
Parking not too convience .
Good location. Large room
Clean, modern, quiet, very nicely decorated.
Bathroom door slides closed and sometimes would not stay closed
The staff were so nice to help us all very friendly. We asked for fans got them in a few minutes. We asked about getting some good food there suggestion did not disappoint us we were a big group. Sherri remembered me calling many times before we came she introduced herself was nice to put a face to the name Our rooms were really nice had a great view of the river. Would stay here again easy walking distance to street cars and food Couldn't have choose a better place Will do it again. Thanks so much.
Front desk staff very helpful and gave us the rooms that we wanted (e.g. My daughters got 2 separate beds and we got a kind bed with a sofa)
Did not have a real restaurant on site and breakfast was not included. Often Courtyard Marriott's have breakfast included.
In the French Quarter but not too loud. Front desk and valet parking provided good service.
No safe in the room. Roomservice is poor. Sink made loud noises all night long.
Clean and modern look
You can hear everything in the room. It was the loudest (poorest insulated) room I have ever been in (and I travel often). There were constant slamming of doors and you could hear people talking in the hallway and from the other rooms. Had a terrible night trying to sleep.
Bar and breakfast facility is poor
Location and staff.
Very friendly staff.
There should be a microwave since there is a fridge. Maybe some type of fruits or snacks should be out for guests. Either in lobby or by front desk. Always a nice gesture for travelers. Goes a long way :-)
Great staff, close to French Quarter, extremely good value for the price
size of room
AC not working - didn't get fixed electric socket not working request for more towels ignored
Beautiful, clean, well located
Too expensive, too nice to have such poor service!!! 1. Valet parking way too expensive, difficult to access car. 2. Staff inattentive and neglectful to the most minimal requests/needs.
location perfect; layout of the room
that i needed to call daily to have my room cleaned; no microwave in the room
Lovely room in good location.
No safe in the room. Some reception staff were excellent others had an attitude. Seemed to forget they were there to serve us and not the other way around.the guy with glasses was great! So was young girl at Starbucks
My husband and I stayed there over the weekend and the location is .2miles from Bourban, and the noise level is great- didn't hear Anything at night! The facility is excellent. We valed the car for $35/day but well worth it- I knew it was taken care of! I do have the say on check-in we had an exceptional lady that helped us, Shelita Foe. She was so helpful and polite and took her time with us! I was very pleased and wish every hotel had a lady like this one!
Great location and excellent staff! Highly recommend it!
Garage across the street can be noisy, as can bourbon Street, but once we changed the AC/fan setting to be on all the time there was not a problem.
The location was perfect. It was close to everything in the French Quuarter. We loved our suite that was clean and had extra living room space to hang out.
The friendliness of the staff varied from person to person. The front desk staff in the morning were hospitable and nicer. There was also a scary fire alert that took place during our stay but when we got to the front desk the clerk gave very little details and was indifferent in giving info. No apologies was given if it was a mistake. We always loved staying at the Marriott but was a little disappointed this time around
Excellent location in the French Quarter. Beautiful, large rooms.
There were issues... first they lost one of our reservations, then when we checked out, they overcharged us by a great deal on our rooms, and they fixed it, but it wasted quite a bit of time, and if we hadn't noticed... Warning: check your bills.
Right in the French Quarter, nice comfy Hotel, big room for city!
The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The location was great! The hotel was only a block from Bourbon street (although almost at the end), but we were in NO for the Saints game and not for the typical party scene. The king suite room was ideal for our family because it allowed plenty of room for a port-a-crib to be set up in the back room and the partition allowed us to not have to be so quiet once the baby was asleep. The hotel was very clean and well kept.
There was zero view of anything which was a bit disappointing for the price we paid. The location was great for Bourbon Street but for a family trip, the location wasn't ideal since it was a bit of a hike to the riverfront area where all the family-friendly activities were. The pull out sofa in the front room of the suite didn't have sheets on it and we were unclear as to where to find them so we contacted the front desk who had someone bring us a set of sheets, pillows and a blanket. Overall that exchange was prompt but the blanket that was brought to us was literally crusty. Yuck. Thankfully we found the stash of sheets/blanket that were hidden in a drawer in the other part of the room and the blanket was much better. It was worrisome that they would bring a blanket in that kind of condition. The lobby was set up a bit oddly and it was annoying to continue to have to go through 2 different elevators just to get to the ground level.
The front desk and custodial staff were extremely helpful and courteous.
No onsite breakfast.
