The location is very nice! The surroundings are amazing! Beautiful garden. The cottage we had was pretty spacious.

The "breakfast" was just a piece of fruit and cake. We weren't impressed with it at all. Would have preferred a bagel or piece of bread. It was too expensive for what it was.

Close to the park and very nice breakfast to eat on the room.

    Thin walls--could hear neighbors arguing.

The cottages were beautiful. The beds were firm, which I love. The staff was welcoming. The hotel was close to everything we wanted to visit. Our stay was great.

The only thing I would change would be to have better window and door coverings for more privacy.

Immaculate room. Roomy and different than a chain. The setting is gorgeous, secluded and green. 3 miles from the park. When we checked in, he gave us tips on seeing the park and they were spot on. Breakfast is in your room- fresh baked fruit bread, fruit, juice- which was very nice. Highly recommended.

Peaceful get-away, friendly staff, beautiful English cottage like facilities, kids were welcome, wonderful continental breakfast and perfect location to visit Volcano National Park.

    None, everything was wonderful.

This B&B is a hidden treasure. If you are lucky enough to book one of these cottages, you will enjoy the fresh baked bread, fruits and peaceful relaxation that are afforded. There are restaurants in Volcano City with excellent food. This cottage was the highlight of our trip to the Big Island. It is a minute away from the Volcano Park. The gentleman that runs the cottages left out light on for us each night. I thought that was really sweet. The baked papaya/coconut bread was outstanding. This is a 'don't miss' opportunity.

Loved the setting. It was close enough to walk to "downtown" Volcano restaurants. The landscaping was beautiful. The cottage is SO CUTE! The bed is very comfortable. It even had a small selection of books/games. Fireplace was a nice amenity in the cool evenings. We enjoyed the fresh bread, fruit, and yogurt for breakfast (they bring it the night before, so no one will come wake you before you are ready). We would stay here again, but maybe inquire about shower height in other cottages.

Wifi was not easy to pick up inside cottage, but could pick up outside on patio. Wish the shower was a bit bigger, my husband is 6'5" and the shower head was low for him.

Loved the breakfast provided, friendly staff, location, and the comfy outdoor aura provided by the looks of the cottages!

The only suggestion for improvement would be to provide clearer directions on how to arrive from the airports and/or more signs on the highway that point to the road needed to turn onto. The location is great but somewhat confusing on where to turn to get to it since you can't see the cottages from the highway.

We liked the history of the accomodation. The gardens are well done and found the place very quaint. The breakfast provided was just what we needed.

Location location location; you cannot beat the convenience

I was shocked they charged for a <2y old as another occupant. Even the airlines don't do this.

The property was very charming as was the room. The room was clean and breakfast was wonderful (banana bread, papaya with lime juice, those wonderful apple bananas, tropical fruit juice and Kona coffee). It got a bit chilly overnight but the little electric heater warmed the bathroom up nicely and we were good to go. I would definitely recommend.

Quiet, close to Volcano NP, cute, excellent healthy breakfast with papaya to eat on the covered front deck. Exactly what we needed to decompress from a kayak/snorkel trip in Palau.

WiFi was marginal. Couldn't figure out how to light the gas fireplace. No place to eat inside so ate wearing parkas one time on the front deck in a heavy rain.

This cottage is the best ever with everything so comfortable and tidy. The beautiful garden, antique woody walls and floor, natural and healthy breakfast, well furnished room, convenient location were all contributed to our perfect vacation on big island!
