Position of the hotel is good - within walking distance to everything. Room was quite nice but be aware bed is pull down from wall - even so mattress quite comfortable.
Lobby and hallways very old - pool area is very stark and very hot in full sun. No breeze due to wall surrounds and limited pool seats.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again and recommend it to others
friendly, helpful staff
Small bathroom, sink built for short persons,Murphy bed too soft and had sharp edges on base, rounded corners would have been less dangerous
Good facilities, great location and friendly staff. Value for money.
Management to consider placing electric kettle in the kitchenette.
The location for the rate, can't be beat. This was my second stay and I'll be back. The club penthouse floor and the gym were new anenities to me this visit and were awesome!
The resort is in a great location just across the street from the beach. Also the shopping in the area is fantastic with high-end shops and low and shops. There were many restaurants and lots of things to do.
Sofa very old and not updated.small bathroom.
The place is quite old and a bit run down. The elevator system is completely old fashioned and people have to wait a long time for a lift that is not full. We were also concerned because the card security system in the lifts had been disabled, and so anyone could wander through the premises. Not good enough, especially at that price!!!
Whilst not quite on the beach or the main drag, this hotel is in a great location for accessing all of Waikiki's attractions. The staff are helpful and the tour booking agents are a great resource.
Coming from Australia, the only thing we thought was missing from the kitchenette was a kettle. Other than that all of the facilities and amenities were suitable.
Location is excellent. Located in the centre of tourist belt where you can shop, dine and dance. Staff very friendly and full of smiles Staff very accommodating
Fold-a bed. if not careful you will accidently hit the bottom of the bed and get hurt
GreAt location. Close to beach and lots of food, shopping, museums and entertainment options.
Enjoyed the exercise room, the Murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable, as was the rest of the apartment.
The bathroom was a little small & could use some updating but it worked for us.
Location is perfect for beach and shops. Staff cannot do enough - fabulous. Pool - wonderful We keep going back
Rooms overlooking street are noisy and we had roadworks too. Pull down beds are small. Shower pressure is not brilliant. Attached Denny's - not great food and doesn't 'gel' with the class of hotel.
Position very close to restaurants, shopping etc. ABC store downstairs is convenient for groceries etc. Dennys next door good for cheap meals. Hot tub is nice.
Very small rooms. We are family of 5 and had one bedroom apartment. Small double bed in bedroom, little room to move around. In living area pull down bed and sofa bed ok but very small area. Rooms only cleaned every 4 th day.
Location was great
Bathroom is small with minimal amenities for what you pay
location, location, location price was very reasonable
dated facility internet didn't work
Michael the concierge was excellent.
Did not clean room daily
Leaving the Imperial Hawaii Resort Club
I didn't like my wife waiting for 6 hours to get into our room after a long trip, our room not being serviced due to us staying there only four days, difficulty in not being able to get a new roll of toilet paper because we weren't staying for longer than 4 days, silverfish in the utensils drawer, grime behind the pull down bed, time share badgering
Mould in bathroom
Everything you need is very close by from a supermarket adjacent to the building to restaurants & the beach only minutes walk from the front door. A great open rooftop pool & two spa tubs located on lower floors. Our balcony had a limited ocean view even from the eastern side of the building which was full of natural light.
The building is a bit dated & due for a reno but everything seemed to work & if there were any problems the staff were quick to respond & address our concerns.
staff very helpful, everything in excellent working condition . location cannot be beat, very good value for the cost
unit needs to be updated re furniture , floors etc .
Location was very good AB store on site for all your needs.staff helpful and courteous at all times
The bed was a pull down from the wall .The smallest bed we have ever TRIED to sleep in.The decor was tired could do with a refurbishment. The lifts were very slow
Right in the heart of the shopping & dining area. 5 minutes from the Sheraton where our business conference was. (at half the cost.) All of Imperial's staff was helpful & friendly. Never had a problem with anyone. ABC Store on the first floor is well stocked with food, drinks & snacks. Our room had two small balconies, one each for the bedroom & living room. Rooftop swimming pool was wonderful at night for floating and looking at the stars. Coin laundry was useful. Hertz car rentals are onsite which was handy.
The property is slightly dated, but it's half the cost of the newer, fancier hotels around it. Odd that the hot tubs are not on the same floor as the pool. But we made do. :-)
The location and ABC store close by, also close to Halekelani hotel
One staff member was abrupt
We liked how close we were to the beach and stores. We liked our corner/side room for being able to see a bit if the ocean.
We didn't care that there wasn't free parking at the hotel since we had paid for a room.
